Overall 3.25 Stars Ambiance: 3.5 Stars Open concept with multiple tables and high top chairs with raised benches. Have outdoor patio with decent seating. Interior decor was modern with a touch of whimsical farm life decoration. Has a bar with a few chairs. Staff: 3.25 Stars 3.5 Stars- Our server was pleasant and polite. Though it wasn't too busy for the lunch crowd, his presence and calm demeanor made you feel relaxed, comfortable, and not in hurry. Other staff: 3 stars. They were polite and friendly. However, the other server forgot couple items that was requested and it took about 20 minutes to receive one adult beverage. Food: 3 Stars - overall nothing really stand out has mentioned in other reviews. 2.5 stars: The margarita beverage was a Pom and Passion fruit mixed with shelf tequila. It had a splash of Pomegranate juice and you couldn't taste any Passion fruit juice. Just tequila, ice and salt. It was my fault of not having it replace, but when you are thirsty... Burgers: 3 Stars Zinburger - manchego cheese, zinfandel braised onion, lettuce & mayo. The meat was excellent, tender and juicy. But the braised onion and Manchego cheese were ok. The cheese has a slight nutty taste similar to a Parmesan cheese. The burger was messy due to the braised onions. The show string fries were hot and decent. El Diablo Burger: 3 Stars Fire roasted jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, caramelized onion, lettuce & chipotle mayo; make it a double smashburger. We thought with the name of "El Diablo" the burger would have some heat from the jalapeños and pepper jack, but it missed the mark. So much potential and it didn't live up to the name. ZUCCHINI FRIES - 2.75 Stars Parmesan & ranch. This was a Side item with the El Diablo Burger. They look good and yummy however the Parmesan cheese was lacking in flavor. It was slightly crunchy from the cornmeal batter and was sprinkled with the cheese and deep fried. Again, it has so much potential. It was our first time to burger joint and it won't be our last. There were other items we would like to try and sometimes the 2nd visit might be better than the 1st visit.

Side order of fries $3 not worth it.

Disappointed is how I will start. Eating out is expensive and driving anyone for work or fun is costing all of us way more now in many years. I placed an order for dinner for my husband and me. Dining in at Zinburger is not my husband's favorite because the acoustics are terrible. But we enjoy their food. I arrive at the time my order said it will be ready. I park in the posted area for pickup and curbside. I call the number posted. A employee answers and said my order was ready and they would be out in a few minutes. She asked if I was parked in the curbside area. I said yes. 15 minutes later no one. I notice a bag stapled inside. It is 4:30-4:45pm on a Wednesday. Not busy at all. I walk in, look at the bag and it is my order. No one greets me or asks anything about me taking my bag off the counter. We won't be back. The food was cold and the fries for a side order was terrible in size and flavor. Completely disappointed!

We'd made a reservation for our party of 10 and got seated in their private room just off the main dining area. It was perfect for our meal together, quiet and private. Many of us got in on their Happy Hour specials. I chose the double smashburger and they were happy to add the toppings I wanted instead of what normally comes with it. It was tasty and the zucchini fries I also got were yummy. Our server was friendly and helpful.

Can't go wrong with Zin Burger. They offer a nice patio, bar or dining room seating option. Their wines come in various ounces: 6,9 or the bottle. The Rosé is very refreshing on hot Tucson days. You can split an order of sweet potato fries. I build my own burger with onions, bacon, cheddar and a fried egg. And then I take half home. Very nice ambience for a date night or bday celebration.

Two double-smashburgers ($13 HH) and side of green chili cheese fries ($7.50 HH) 7/2026

Came for Happy Hour (3-6pm; 7 days/week!) on a Monday at 5:30p with the aim of grabbing a drink and burger. It took a while to get seated and we noticed, there were only four waitstaff, requiring the bartender (who had several sitting patrons) to service at least two dining tables. Despite being about half empty it also took a while to have our order taken but after these pair of delays it was great. Over the past three years (see pics) HH drink prices have only nudged up a $1 or so but HH food jumped 25-40%. This is partially due to the increase in some entree sizes, such as the addition of the double smash burger ($13, normally $16). We opted for the classic old fashioned ($8) and their multi-fruited Zingria ($6). Both were solid representatives -- not overly sweet, and nicely priced. We each opted for the double smash - one as described (bacon, zin sauce, amer cheese) and the other with sauce deleted and Havarti instead of American. It's nice that you can sub cheeses at the same price. The only other cheese I considered was cheddar! We also got chili/cheese fries to share ($7.50). Food arrived in less than 10 minutes and all was hot. The shoestring-style fries were drizzled in a spice brown sauce (bleh) and liquid cheese (bleh). While the fries, dotted with diced green chilis, were quite good, the liquid condiments on top were disappointing and next time would order plain fries ($4). Burgers, on the other hand, were delicious. Two patties provides a lot of protein and their smashed grilling created lots of crispy edges. At $60 all-in it seems high for happy hour, but $30/person for entree, cocktail, side is quite average for dinner these days. There's a really good special too called the "happiest meal" (double smash burger, fries, draft beer) for just $16. We would have done that but both of us vastly prefer cocktails/wine. Our actual server was terrific. Bathrooms are clean/elegant. Parking can be challenging with the co-located, multiple eateries but there always seems to be a spot somewhere.

    Hit Guac Bottom*

Right now we have perfect weather for dining outdoors in the beautiful patio of this restaurant. They even have sprinklers for your comfort. I ordered their Hit Guac Bottom burger which would have been spectacular if it wasn't lukewarm. The side fries were delicious and perfectly seasoned. I decided to have it with strawberry banana shake and even though they don't have it on the menu they made one for me. Over all the service was very good I just wish the food was served hotter.

Had an amazing time here tonight. Jacob did a great job taking care of us on the patio. This was my first time here in a while and they had an updated menu. Loved all the fun options!

Absolutely incredible!!! The burgers are on another level. Get the Sam Burger, double smash patti. Get the truffle fries. Also, the service is 10/10. The team here knows how to provide friendly, welcoming, and excellent customer service. If you are looking for a great date spot, then this is it. Happy hour is so good! And don't forget to leave space for the Banana Cream Pie!! I'm from CA, and I wish Zinburger was in my state. My first time here and I will come back over and over again. I even ordered one to go after my dinner.

Nice, casual place for dinner! I decided to try the Asian chicken salad, which was very fresh and tasty. Also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which were ok but not amazing. The cherry blossom dirty soda was more tart than I expected but still very good.

    Buffalo Chicken
    Henry V.

Zinburger is now on my list of burger spots in Tucson. I had ordered the Zucchini fries, Buffalo Chicken Burger, and the El Diablo Burger on this visit. The dish that stood out was the Zucchini fries, it was crispy yet melted in your mouth with each bite. It was topped with grated Parmesan that paired with the fries perfectly. The Buffalo chicken was delicious, the chicken was a good size that offered a slight crispy crust, while the meat was very juicy. The El Diablo is great as well. The fire-roasted jalapenos gave the burger a slight hint of heat, but mild enough for those who can't handle a spicy meal. The service was good, and we got greeted and seated quickly. The ambiance is very relaxed with many windows to allow the natural light in. I would like to visit this location again in the evening or when a game is one to see how the vibes are then.

Tonight, I ordered the exact same as last time...Med Chicken Bowl. This time it looked as though the bag had been dropped, as food was sloshed about in the container...not very appetizing. All of the chicken was at one end and the tahini was smeared around on the sides of the container, which not only looked icky but also means there was less on the food. Perhaps it wasn't dropped but something happened to it. All in all, there was no feeling of care associated with the meal. Also, the chicken was cold and kind of gross, though I picked up in a timely manner (20 minutes after ordering). Top guess on the chicken is that it was previously cooked, and at lower heat so there was no sear whatsoever. And then it was lightly microwaved to kinda heat it up for my dish. It was fairly gross, though I did eat it. I looked at the menu just now (to refresh my memory)...I do not recall any chickpeas or red pepper in my meal. All I recall is chicken, rice, tahini, cucumbers, onion, tomatoes. Maybe that's why the container looked somewhat empty. I had asked to hold the feta...maybe that triggered a cascade of omitting other items. It was fairly disappointing and it's kind of weird that the exact same meal not even two weeks apart can be so different. First time it was great, second time I'm not sure if I'd eat that meal again, even if it were free. Tonight: kinda gross, actually. Oh, well, it was a good streak! PS To whoever reads these on behalf of Zburger...here's what time today I ordered (see pic). In case you want to ask about regarding what happened.

I love Zinburger for happy hour. They have the best HH menu in Tucson IMO! They have specials on drinks, apps, meals, and desserts. I usually get the drat beer and smash burger happier meal and banana cream pie. But this time I tried their seasonal shake. The service, atmosphere, and food were all great. Cheers!

    Luciana R.

The burgers are great, but the banana cream pie... to die for! My friend and I stopped by for drinks and desert and it was perfect. PS: the slice is large enough we could have shared it, but it was a Saturday afternoon and a cheat day!

We were a lively group of seven, and after our meeting we even celebrated my birthday. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant is bright, inviting, spacious, and has a warm, modern atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The food was outstanding! Our table enjoyed a delicious variety of favorites, including Elote Nachos, Shrimp Ceviche, Mac & Cheese with Chicken, and several Happy Hour entrées. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. And if you visit, do yourself a favor--order the Margarita with Tajín (that perfect blend of mild chile, lime, and salt). It was absolutely delicious! What truly made our experience memorable, however, was the exceptional hospitality. Manager Edmont and our server Olivia treated us like old friends from the moment we arrived. They were attentive, fun, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The highlight? Edmont surprised us by leading our group in the Tucson High Badger Fight Song after learning we were alumni! Talk about going above and beyond. To top off a wonderful evening, we shared a warm Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding complete with a birthday candle--a sweet ending to a fantastic celebration. Redbird isn't just serving great food; they're creating memorable experiences. I also appreciate that they partner with local businesses, something that speaks volumes about their commitment to our Tucson community. The first thing I need to own is that it's a shame I hadn't visited here before. We arrived at 5:30p and both the bar and patio areas were packed - standing room only, and no wonder. They have one of the better happy hours (daily! 3:00 - 6:30p) - able to accommodate both the slacker and the over-timer Lol. Basic drinks are all discounted such as house wines, well drinks, and beers. Their bottled wines and craft cocktails are all exempt though. Many of their appetizers are also discounted and some quite substantially. We grabbed a glass of the house cabernet ($6, normally $8) and the grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon ($13, normally $20). NOTE: happy hour pricing is Only available if you order/consume at the bar or on the patio and that's clear in advance, and understandable. The dining areas were only half full at this early point (but filled up by 6:30) and the host kindly encouraged us to enjoy our starters at the bar as she would hold our table. We were then sat near the "back" of this long venue and frankly, aside from the lone windowed table at the very front, this would be my preferred seating - cozy, intimate, with only five other tables around us. For dinner drinks she got an Italian Nebbiolo Bricco Magno Red Blend ($13/glass, reliably terrific/mellow) and I got the Chupacabra ($15) Mezcal/prickly pear cocktail, strong and excellent as well. We got an additional appetizer: the roasted bone marrow ($19). I had never had marrow before but she raved about how good this can be if done properly (bonus, it is super healthy). Folks, a picture/worth a 1000... suffice to say this was simply outstanding! We both had long work weeks and were craving meat - just a damn good steak. Our waiter, without blinking recommended the 8oz bison filet mignon ($65) as his absolute menu fav, and then the day's special: 14oz ribeye ($50). We ordered each. All dinners come with two sides and we each got the day's special: roasted half artichoke and she got the loaded baked potato while I got the mashed potatoes. Food arrived about 15 minutes later at good temperature (warm/rested with a strong char) with each being accurately grilled (medium and medium-rare). Taste was outstanding. Neither one of us had bison filet before and marveled how it (subtly) added a "wild" edge to an always outstanding, lean-but-tender, cut of beef. The loaded baked was terrific, however, the mashed was the only disappointment... a plainer mash one could not make themselves - pure white and borderline dry, no milk, butter, egg, gravy(?), nothing to make it creamy or add any flavor dimension - a surprise frankly. The only other "critique" is that the dessert menu could add some kind of dark/chocolate concoction. All in all, though, we loved our experience and have decided to add this to our periodic special dinners rotation! Staff was outstanding - just the proper balance of attentive and quiet - and waters never went below half empty. Parking is free and plentiful, especially behind the restaurant (and yes, if you continue on around the back there is another long entrance/exit driveway that comes out the other side of Jimmy John's and Noodleholics.

Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!
