Side order of fries $3 not worth it.
Becky W.

Disappointed is how I will start. Eating out is expensive and driving anyone for work or fun is costing all of us way more now in many years. I placed an order for dinner for my husband and me. Dining in at Zinburger is not my husband's favorite because the acoustics are terrible. But we enjoy their food. I arrive at the time my order said it will be ready. I park in the posted area for pickup and curbside. I call the number posted. A employee answers and said my order was ready and they would be out in a few minutes. She asked if I was parked in the curbside area. I said yes. 15 minutes later no one. I notice a bag stapled inside. It is 4:30-4:45pm on a Wednesday. Not busy at all. I walk in, look at the bag and it is my order. No one greets me or asks anything about me taking my bag off the counter. We won't be back. The food was cold and the fries for a side order was terrible in size and flavor. Completely disappointed!

Can't go wrong with Zin Burger. They offer a nice patio, bar or dining room seating option. Their wines come in various ounces: 6,9 or the bottle. The Rosé is very refreshing on hot Tucson days. You can split an order of sweet potato fries. I build my own burger with onions, bacon, cheddar and a fried egg. And then I take half home. Very nice ambience for a date night or bday celebration.

Hit Guac Bottom*

Right now we have perfect weather for dining outdoors in the beautiful patio of this restaurant. They even have sprinklers for your comfort. I ordered their Hit Guac Bottom burger which would have been spectacular if it wasn't lukewarm. The side fries were delicious and perfectly seasoned. I decided to have it with strawberry banana shake and even though they don't have it on the menu they made one for me. Over all the service was very good I just wish the food was served hotter.

Had an amazing time here tonight. Jacob did a great job taking care of us on the patio. This was my first time here in a while and they had an updated menu. Loved all the fun options!

Nice, casual place for dinner! I decided to try the Asian chicken salad, which was very fresh and tasty. Also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which were ok but not amazing. The cherry blossom dirty soda was more tart than I expected but still very good.

Tonight, I ordered the exact same as last time...Med Chicken Bowl. This time it looked as though the bag had been dropped, as food was sloshed about in the container...not very appetizing. All of the chicken was at one end and the tahini was smeared around on the sides of the container, which not only looked icky but also means there was less on the food. Perhaps it wasn't dropped but something happened to it. All in all, there was no feeling of care associated with the meal. Also, the chicken was cold and kind of gross, though I picked up in a timely manner (20 minutes after ordering). Top guess on the chicken is that it was previously cooked, and at lower heat so there was no sear whatsoever. And then it was lightly microwaved to kinda heat it up for my dish. It was fairly gross, though I did eat it. I looked at the menu just now (to refresh my memory)...I do not recall any chickpeas or red pepper in my meal. All I recall is chicken, rice, tahini, cucumbers, onion, tomatoes. Maybe that's why the container looked somewhat empty. I had asked to hold the feta...maybe that triggered a cascade of omitting other items. It was fairly disappointing and it's kind of weird that the exact same meal not even two weeks apart can be so different. First time it was great, second time I'm not sure if I'd eat that meal again, even if it were free. Tonight: kinda gross, actually. Oh, well, it was a good streak! PS To whoever reads these on behalf of Zburger...here's what time today I ordered (see pic). In case you want to ask about regarding what happened.

I love Zinburger for happy hour. They have the best HH menu in Tucson IMO! They have specials on drinks, apps, meals, and desserts. I usually get the drat beer and smash burger happier meal and banana cream pie. But this time I tried their seasonal shake. The service, atmosphere, and food were all great. Cheers!

Luciana R.

The burgers are great, but the banana cream pie... to die for! My friend and I stopped by for drinks and desert and it was perfect. PS: the slice is large enough we could have shared it, but it was a Saturday afternoon and a cheat day!

Zinburger is now on my list of burger spots in Tucson. I had ordered the Zucchini fries, Buffalo Chicken Burger, and the El Diablo Burger on this visit. The dish that stood out was the Zucchini fries, it was crispy yet melted in your mouth with each bite. It was topped with grated Parmesan that paired with the fries perfectly. The Buffalo chicken was delicious, the chicken was a good size that offered a slight crispy crust, while the meat was very juicy. The El Diablo is great as well. The fire-roasted jalapenos gave the burger a slight hint of heat, but mild enough for those who can't handle a spicy meal. The service was good, and we got greeted and seated quickly. The ambiance is very relaxed with many windows to allow the natural light in. I would like to visit this location again in the evening or when a game is one to see how the vibes are then.

Loaded Cheesy Fries

Went here for date night on Halloween. It was pretty quiet, with maybe five different parties eating, including ours. We ordered two appetizers, the cheesy fries and the Italian meatballs. Both came out with our entrées for some reason. The meatballs weren't bad. There were four along with some soft brioche like bread that was great for dipping in the sauce. $14 for that did seem a bit much for it though. The cheesy fries ($10) were a good portion for two people. I originally felt they could've had more cheese, but they came with a cheese sauce to dip them in, so all good. Both of the burgers ($14.95 &$15.75) were pretty yummy. It was a good meal, but altogether with tip, also a $70 meal. I won't say it's not worth the prciness but just know if you're going to visit it's a little bit pricey for a burger spot.

An update: for the longest time this was my favorite burger in town! The last few visits I have found the meat patty lacks seasoning and while the toppings are usually good the patty stills needs flavor. Without the seasoning and/or char, it leaves a fatty taste in the mouth and is awful. I will try this again and hope there is a change, but it will be awhile. I am very sad. For many years I have brought people here and suggested this place. That is on hold. I am no longer recommending it for now.

Amber L.

I was told to try this place, so my husband and I went. We got seated immediately and it was pretty busy. The place is very clean and organized. Nice lighting as well. We got seated and the waiter came up, immediately to get our drinks. He was very polite and amazing with helping us with choices. He kept our tables clear and drinks full. Wonderful waiter! The appetizer we got was the Italian meat ball with the garlic bread. Which I highly recommend. The sauces and the meat balls was amazing! Really delicious! Loved the garlic bread that came with it. Our entree's were all delicious and tasted great as well! Loved the fries here. The burger and chicken sandwich I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed! Then we got our dessert. My favorite dessert is banana pudding, so I had to try the banana cream pie. Yall it was like heaven!!! The crust is homemade and I couldn't get enough of it. I wish I bought more to take home! One of the best tasting crust and banana pie, I've ever had!

Love the wall of chianti bottles that lead to the bar and love that the staff dress up in casual Prohibition garb. Came here for girl's night and it was everyone's first time even at the restaurant but mine. I'd had dinner a couple times in the restaurant for my birthday and had the cheese wheel fettuccine alfredo. I asked if anyone was interested in trying it and so 3 of us split it which ended up being pretty perfect. It is hands down THE BEST fettuccine alfredo. We had many drinks come to our table, the first round being the homemade limoncello. Made with local Meyer lemons, it is deliciously potent. A must try. The bartender, Ryan or Brian, he made cocktails from the heart. A couple of gals ordered "dealer's choice" drinks and they were inspired by the drinker's stories. It was really a unique experience for them and I could almost see his mind working out the chemistry of the libations. Another must try, although I didn't because I had to drive myself home. I did have a coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto, and freshly-made whipped cream. Last must try if not on a coffee drink maybe on a dessert. One person in our party thought that the drinks were on the spendy side. Many of the ingredients were house made and all top shelf. I'm from Los Angeles so an $18 drink was a normal night at the klerb. Worth mentioning if that would be a deal breaker. Worth a go. I thought it was better than the speakeasy at the Sonoran House which was too bright and not intimate. You really like feel more like you're not where you're supposed to be at The Still. There is a curio cabinet with cigars that I think are for sale. The speakeasy opens up to the patio for all the smoke suckers. Great for a small groups or date night, maybe not the first date.

Luckily, they put us at two long tables next to each other in the back, which was perfect, because we are a noisy group. The Cork has a very eclectic menu, very diverse. There were many choices between beef, pork, chicken and seafood, as well as Bison, lamb and venison with a few daily specials thrown in. To start off they provided wonderful breads on each table. The Cork is known as a steakhouse so many of the diners ordered steak dinners. I ordered the lobster tail which was wonderfully delicious and cooked to perfection. All of the diners commented that their dinners were cooked to their specifications, no matter what was ordered. The Cork also has a very extensive wine and cocktail menu that most of diners ordered from and were happy with their choices. Our waiter was wonderful. All of our orders were correct, which is a big job to accomplish with 18 diners in the same group. The dinners came in a timely manner, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The only issue was the Baby Back Ribs on the menu had a price of $35. However, when the check came $37 was charged for the item. When the diner pointed it out to the waiter, he stated he would fix it. Unfortunately, it did not get fixed. It went unnoticed until after we left the restaurant. Further although the reservations were made in August for this dinner, somehow our reservation was lost. Suffice to say she absolutely raved - placing it on par with many of the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants she has sampled back east. And, we agreed, when Michelin publishes its first-ever SouthWest U.S. edition later this year (2026) I recognize getting a star is a mighty fete but if Tito/Pep does not at least make its S.W. Bib list I will know the fix is in. We started with the Queso Fundido ($13) - with chewy cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and beef chorizo it was a perfect blend of meaty/savory/fatty. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus ($17). What a surprise this was, the crunchy roasted pepper flakes and unusually soft grilled octopus it kicked the pants off of "calamari-style." We inquired and the way they remove the typical rubberiness is by poaching the octopus tentacles for 5(!) hours before grilling. You Go chef Martinez! For our entree we opted for the day's special: deep fried whole Red Snapper for two ($85)... as did about a half-dozen other tables in this intimate 20-tabled venue. See pics as a written description is inadequate. The crisp was excellent and the tender moist fish just beneath, exquisite. The roasted jalapenos were other worldly - somehow only mild heat and with a subtle sweet/acid presence... totally and entirely edible. As fantastic as the vinegar slaw was atop our self-made fish tacos, the tomatillo puree was ridiculous - so fresh and not sour that its scent was nearly as strong as its flavor. We asked again, how?! and were told they first cook the tomatillos for 3 hours. Folks, the effort involved to present this kind of meal would be nearly impossible to do at home for even double the cost. We concluded with the ganache dessert ($12). While so richly decadent it was possibly too rich, only by virtue of its size... it needs to be shared! We were deeply torn over that or the olive oil cake and will opt for the latter... next year, Lol. For drinks we ordered two glasses of their "red blend" (really good for a simple blend) and then the Pie Allen after dinner cocktail ($13) - an interesting combination of prickly pear liquor and port. The staff were amazing - not just in timely attentiveness (a minimum requirement at this level) but especially in terms of being able to field our deep curiosities about several of the dishes. Due to our "layers" of ordering we stayed an easy 2+ hours and were never rushed. Parking will get tight at peak times but everyone will be accommodated. Pre-tip we were at $165 - a special occasion outing for sure but, we both agreed, an (almost) bargain. At this level of quality and degree of effort in Chicago or Miami (places she recently lived) would be closer to $250 for two. Small note: three years ago this began, now it's the norm - restaurants are calculating the tip based upon a total that's After the tax has been added. It's a minor but, nonetheless, unconsented-to, inflation of the tip. Just an fyi :)
