Zin Burger has been a beloved tradition for my family for years, so it was the natural choice for my 19th birthday dinner last weekend! She handled our slightly loud family with total grace and was super knowledgeable about the menu, which my family appreciated. She was attentive and quick, which is all you can ask for when it's busy! For the food, I went with my long-time favorite, the fantastic Double Smashburger. She seemed to be rushing us and my co-worker said the same. I ordered a frozen margarita and she got Sangria, no issues there but nothing special either. It was pretty busy and a bit noisy, I think there was music playing as well. I ordered the turkey burger which feature whipped tahini (which I didn't understand), I said no peppercinis and they got that right, lettuce & harissa yogurt (whatever that is). The food was okay- onion rings were great... but El Diablo burger and the hot wings had no unique spice or kick to it as I had assumed from reading the menu. The space is cool with able indoor/outdoor/ hybrid seating... full bar and a place that can accommodate large groups. Our service was not that great. Even though it wasn't very busy... it took our server long periods of time to check in... I had to ask for a refill, and our order was missing a item and we had to wait to get the servers attention to even let them know. These are not the only gripes with service but no need to get into it... perhaps they were having a bad day. Either way... not the best experience for us. read more

We have never had the truffle fries before and they were delicious. My Grinch milkshake was their Christmas drink. Nice minty flavor. We usually only eat half of our food and take the rest home. Except that they were so good we ate all of the burgers and most of the fries. I would recommend this place for a delicious meal. They have other items on the menu but we always order burgers. While the prices are higher than most burger places it is worth the cost. You can sit inside at booths or tables or outside. They give you white linen napkins and real silver wear. Came in yesterday with my husband. The food was fantastic but they were BUSY. The food took longer than expected, bartender kept following up with us, and apologized, explaining that it was fundraiser night or something. I didn't catch his name but I've seen him before on Wednesdays when we've come in. He's always smiling and laughing with everyone at the bar. Ordered burger, fries and milkshake, picked up in about 15-20 minutes and the order was being bagged when I walked in. Fries: quite cool and a pretty small amount. Milkshake: whipped cream was butter and milkshake was fine. Burger: Inedible. Tasted like a salt shaker fell on it and I sorta picked through to see if there was a better part but gave up. Back in Feb, I had one of the worst dining experiences I can remember. That night was capped off by waiting over 45+ min for a piece of pie that never came because no one bothered to tell us that the restaurant had run out. This was the end to a 90-minute debacle that ended with me swearing this place off forever. Today I really wanted pie, so I lifted my boycott and ordered 2x pieces of pie via their online portal. I was hesitant, but how difficult could it be to get two pieces of pie to a car parked 15' from the door? The online portal said I had to wait 25 min to pick up my pie. This seemed like a long time to get 2 pieces of pie into boxes, but I didn't want to assume. At my instructed time, I arrived at curbside parking spot #3. I called the phone number on the sign as instructed, and then I waited... At the 20 min mark (45+ min from when I originally placed the order), I got out of my car, walked into the restaurant, and requested a refund. The manager at the podium walked off to not get my money. I was then approached by the To Go order person, who informed me that since I did not tell her specifically about my order, that I had somehow not fulfilled my end of the money for pie transaction. I pointed out that I called the only phone number listed on the parking sign, and that perhaps the communication gap was not on my end. At this point the less-than-useful manager returned, and I again explained that I just wanted my money (this time with more cussing). He turned and headed to the back of the house again, and about 5 min later, returned with a receipt of the refund. I wish I could say that I was surprised, but ultimately I left more confused/angry than anything. While I am not a statistician, it seems almost mathematically impossible that I stop going to this restaurant in part to a 45+ min wait that ends with me not getting pie, wait 5 months, order pie via their online system, and again somehow wait over 45 min and leave without any pie. read more
