Custom salsa, made just the way you want it. Delightful

We had an excellent noon time meal at Guadalajara Restaurant. We split the 2 item combo plate. At the very beginning we had the salsa made tableside, what a treat. Be sure and tip the lady who makes the salsa to your specifications. She's probably not your server. Oscar was our server. He was very attentive and has a great personality. The decor was beautiful. Nice soft booths or tables large enough for your lunch meeting. It was nice and cool and modern Mexican music played in the background. I highly recommend Guadalajara's.

Food was good as always. The server started off decent then she kinda trickled off towards the end. But overall she was nice. The place was pretty slow for a Saturday at 8:45pm but guy said it was probably because they had their 23rd Anniversary event goin on today at their Kolb location which took most of their clientele. Restaurant itself was pretty clean and decor was cool! We always love the table side salsa too! Will definitely be b

My first visit and I was very happy with the food, service, and ambiance. The table side guacamole & salsa (which can be prepared as mild, medium, or hot) was exceptional. The Arroz Con Pollo was very good. Looking forward to a return visit.

Absolutely magical Quesabirria and Chimi Pazon! Daughter had skirt steak and we had a bowl of the table side made guacamole! Delicious! Everything is around $20 on the menu so be ready to pay for the deliciousness!

What a fun afternoon at Guadalajara Grill, thanks to Yelp! We enjoyed perfectly mixed margaritas, delicious appetizers, and even played a lively game of Lotería. The made-at-the-table salsa was incredibly fresh and had just the right amount of heat--exactly how I asked for it. Their beef mini chimichangas were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The venue itself is beautiful, colorful, and full of energy--such a vibrant atmosphere! Can't wait to come back.

We were in Tucson on vacation and stopped in to try this restaurant. The host was super friendly as was all the staff. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. The table side prepared salsa and guacamole is excellent! The food had plenty of flavor and also generous portions. My wife and grandson enjoyed the experience as well as the food. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for good Mexican at a set down restaurant.

Writing this in regards to the service that we had on 4-11-26 at the Marana location. Made a reservation, walk in, not very busy, get seated, 15 MINUTES GO BY BEFORE WE ARE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED by one of the three hostess. She brought us waters. Then our drink orders and water refills took another 15 minutes! This is by far the worst service I've experienced. Food and drinks were as expected, fantastic, but the service could possibly be the worst I've ever had.

Stopped by Guadalajara's and overall had a pretty good experience. The ambiance is solid--comfortable, welcoming, and has that lively, casual vibe you'd want from a Mexican spot. The fresh salsa was definitely a highlight--super flavorful and freshly made right in front of the table. I also really enjoyed the fresh lemonade; it was refreshing and not overly sweet, which was perfect. As for the food, the portion sizes were generous, so come hungry. I tried the Mexican seafood cocktail, and while it was decent, I've definitely had fresher. It wasn't bad by any means, just didn't blow me away. The guacamole, unfortunately, was a little too salty for my taste, but that might come down to personal preference. The service was excellent too! All in all, a nice place to grab a filling meal with some standout fresh items, especially if you're into good salsa and lemonade.

Me and my boyfriend came here on our Tucson trip. We found this spot by our hotel and decided to check it out. Upon entering the restaurant is decorated so cute. The decor is very lively and creates a fun atmosphere. We were seated in a booth and given our menus. The menus to this place are huge. It's basically a little book that you are given. It makes it hard if you're an indecisive person. But lots of good looking choices! There were vegetarian options as well if I remember correctly. Our server was slow with getting to us. However, we didn't mind it as we were enjoying the company. But if you are on a time crunch or not trying to be there long it may be an issue. Our favorite part was the salsa! They bring a cart around and make the salsa fresh in front of you. You can choose your spice level still while it is being made. For an appetizer we got the birria quesadilla. It was so flavorful and delicious. I would eat a whole one as a meal for sure. The meat was tender and everything was well put together. For food, I ordered a salmon plate. It was pretty decently sized and looked very appealing. It tasted pretty good, however, I'm not sure I would order it again. I would wanna try something different. My boyfriend got a fajita plate that had chicken, carne asada, and shrimp in it. Everything was tender and flavorful on his plate. It was a big plate and it still came with beans and rice on the side. Lastly, we also tried some drinks. We each got a margarita to try. They came out pretty and generously sized. Our one drink lasted us the whole meal time. They taste a little strong so try a sweeter flavor if you're not into that. Some fun information from their menu, they have a margarita fountain you can purchase for larger groups! Overall, we will definitely come back when visiting again. The salsa was delicious and the food is worth it. I only lowered my stars due to the waiting time of our server.

    Carne al carbon

This is an absolute no. As a Hispanic woman, I'm sure I'm biased when it comes to Mexican food. Table side Salsa is neat. Nothing had seasoning. It took forever to get service to bring salt and pepper which didn't help the meal. Don't let the look fool you, bland, bland, bland. The restaurant itself is beautiful, sad there's no real pride put into the dishes. The best part was the beer. Nobody ever came to check-in, the person finally returned and asked if I wanted a box for my untouched food. The lack of care, and concern is shameful. I got the carne al carbon, the description said it had chorizo. Should have described as having a garnish. This is a $24 plate, which would be bad if factoring in the chorizo as a part of the plate as well. I did appreciate the medium cook if the meat, rice is meh, beans were terrible. This is supposed to come with pico de gallo which I preferred not to have, maybe that's where the flavor profile was?

Wondering why a brewery with kids? Well, half of this place is a giant game room filled with old and new pinball machines, a pool table, a couple video games, foosball, a boxing game and shuffleboard. I met Jim, the awesome bartender on duty, who told me some really net stuff about the place and gave me a limited tour of the brewing room. I tried the CDO Blonde beer, which is fitting for this blonde CDO grad. I thought it was really good. Jim explained that they don't add sugar to their brewing process, and instead their natural flavor options serve as the sugars in brewing. Things like fruits, flowers and nuts take the place of added sugar. The pinball machines are very fun, but I have to say the boxing machine was the highlight for the teenage boys in our group. Seeing who hit hardest was all the rage. Catalina Brewing Company takes their beer on the run, or should I say mountain biking trails, to serve to people at events, which sounds fun. There some neat history in this place. I hear they have trivia nights as well. They are family friendly, serving sodas as well. They make cocktails with wine converted to various types of "liquor ". Overall I thought this was a great place I'd go back to in a heartbeat. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and parking. It was clean and best of all, cool in the summertime. Check out the walls when you're there, including the bathroom walls, for funny memorabilia.

Thoughts on the dishes we tried: - Guacamole and chips: pretty good but not standout - the next time we came back, we just stuck to the chips and salsa which were tasty and filling - Ribeye: great for sharing for 2 people; the char on the meat is delicious and the dish comes with a cheese quesadilla, grilled onions, rice, and refried beans. We ended up with leftovers to take home. - Enchiladas: choose your meat and sauce to top it. I opted for the shredded chicken with green (poblano) sauce. The sauce packs a hint of spice but is a bit creamy too, and the enchiladas are packed with meat and are filling. - Quesadilla: similar to enchiladas, choose your meat or cheese only. My husband ordered the carne asada which was marinated well and flavorful. The quesadilla had good meat to cheese ratio and comes with sour cream and guacamole. Both times we left with happy and full bellies as well as leftovers. Good meals overall!

We waited a few minutes before someone came over to greet us. It was an older, blonde female. She never told us her name but she had asked us if we wanted something to drink. I inquired about seltzers & they only had High noon Watermelon & White claw Mango. I was disappointed in their slim options so I asked for a Tito's soda with lemon. She brought our drinks over right away & of course there was a lime in my drink & she apologized & said it was her fault and quickly came back with lemons. I order the fried mushroom & fried zucchini appetizer and it came out prior to my meal. I actually perfer zucchini spears, they serve slices. These veggies were OK. They came with a side of ranch. The portion wasn't worth the cost of them. Another waitress, Kelsey (I asked her her name as she was so friendly/nice) was running around who brought out our appetizer but I had to ask for another silverware setting as there was only 2 on the table to begin with & there were 3 of us. I also had to ask for plates so I could share with my friends. I decided to go with the brisket with cheese sandwich & substituted my fries for onion rings. I had asked our waitress if the onion rings were homemade & she said "no, but they're really good." I also added a side of Western beans. The brisket was dry but it came with a side of yummy, sweet BBQ sauce....thank God! I didn't want the bun & just ate the brisket. The onion rings were OK & I didn't like the beans. They weren't sweet @ all & had a spicy kick to them. She was nice & took them off my bill when I told her I didn't like them. Our waitress did come back shortly after we dug into our food to ask us how things were & if we needed anything. She was a good waitress but man she seemed so miserable. She wasn't happy or chipper and it seemed like she didn't want to be there by her demeanor. There were games on the big screen TV's near by. This seems to be a "sports bar." AZ was playing. I did find that it was hard to hear my friend's while trying to converse with them. We asked for our check & she asked if we wanted any to-go containers which my friend's did as they had left overs. Things were brought over shortly but once she dropped the check off she took off, my friend even had her CC out & ready to cash out. I'm giving 3 stars due to the food & the prices of the food. It's definitely frozen bar food & it wasn't that great. Over priced IMO. 4 stars for our waitress & Kelsey. Just wished our waitress was happier & friendlier.
