American Eat Co is literally one if the best spots in Tucson! GM kitchen is one of a kind, so many wonderful items in the menu. The gentleman who helped me was so kind and helpful, they are very in order and clean. I ordered the Sonora burger OMG OMG ABSOLUTE PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH with so many flavors. I couldn't decide on sweet potato fries or regular, He suggested that I get half-and-half was such a great suggestion because they were both absolutely delicious and highly recommend this place if you're in Tucson for sure he will be.

A nice location for a quick lunch date. GM Kitchen 86 has a variety of food options including burgers, tacos, and sandwiches. I tried the Baja Fish Tacos which came with three beer battered soft tacos. The food was fresh and delicious. It was easy to order and the service was quick.

I stopped in on a Saturday early evening for some grub to go and ordered the mini 86 burger and fries. I was thrilled they offered a smaller version hamburger for $12 and it fully delivered on taste and quality. Fries were fresh and tasty as well. Highly recommend this spot!

This place is awesome. Got the double 86 burger, 2 different sides of fries, and an elote. Everything was prepared and tasted excellent. Glad to see another amazing business is in American Eat Co. I appreciate the food court offering. I'd guess it's more affordable than trying to start a brick and mortar restaurant. The service was slow for counter service but it wasn't bad. The order person was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely ear here if you can.

The El Gaucho came highly recommended to me, so I was excited to give it a try. It was pretty good, but not all that spicy like the menu claimed. I couldn't decide on which fries I wanted, so they let me try half regular and half sweet potato. They both were nice and crispy. It ended up being a lot of fries, so overall it was a lot of food. It was a solid meal, and I wouldn't mind ordering it again.

Yummy! Staff was helpful with the menu and I was able to place my order with Ease. I had the gourmet burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious! The aioli mayo was a bit spicy and complemented the burger well. A lot of different options on the menu and I look forward to come back and trying something different.

At last, my Father's Day ended in great fashion. I had been wanting to try their Burger for a while and yesterday my daughter made it happen. It was OUTSTANDING. It moves into maybe my top 5 in Tucson. Bacon Cheeseburger no onions is my go-to. Classic is all you need. All I need to be in my happy place. The photo shows the Love I have. American Eat Co. has soo many options, it's truly difficult to decide what to eat! This week, I chose GM Kitchen and originally wanted the Cuban sandwich, but instead switched to the Gaucho sandwich. I ordered fries with it & asked that the bread not be too crispy. The fries were good, and had a slight crunch. The sandwich was also pretty good. One bite and despite the condiments on it, you get the strong taste of sausage. This isn't bad if you like sausage, and I do. But I will say the taste of sausage overwhelmed anything else on the sandwich. Again, just an observation, as the sandwich was good. Staff was friendly and helpful as well.

Interesting and terrific options especially in a food court. We got the chicken bahn mi and a cubano both with side salads. Both were excellent and the salad was amazing. I would get the salad by itself it was that good. The Gaucho was a tad dry but I think there just wasn't enough sauce and they weren't kidding about it being hot with the spicy sausage! We also got a side of fried cauliflower which was also tasty. The food did take a little bit of time to come out, but I don't really consider this "fast" food and it was worth the wait.

This place was awesome!!! The ambiance was amazing and it made me think like I was in a high class food court. There are what I believe to be 7 different restaurants here with each one adding some diversity to the experience. If you feel like having a slice of pizza with a Korean sandwich and some shrimp ceviche, then you can do that here. The food was amazing. My wife and I ordered from Monster and the quality of the food was out of this world. The service was excellent too and you can tell that each restaurant was well organized with how they delivered the food. If I'm ever in Tucson again, then I would definitely come back here. Only reason why I'm not giving it a five is because I haven't try all of the food from each restaurant yet.

Stopped in for a quick snack and got the deep Fried Cauliflower which had big Parmesan shavings and capers. Very good. Also had a patty melt which was equally delicious. The manager even brought over some churros because the order "took too long". Excellent food and service.

This place is located within American Eat . If you're coming by yourself or with a partner or a group of friends, there is something for everybody here. It is similar to a food court style set up, but it is modern and elevated, but with a rustic feel and vibe. We tried the gourmet sandwiches and delicious burgers called GM kitchen 86. We got the butcher burger and fries and it did not disappoint. The burger is stacked high with two patties and two onion rings and slathered with sauce and cheese. GM Kitchen 86 is a great spot, especially if you are in the mood for a solid burger. It is located inside a small local food court that has about eight or nine different options, all with different styles of food. It is a nice setup if you are with a group and everyone wants something different. I ordered the Butcher Burger and it was really good. The burger itself was massive and cooked well. The bun was a little oversized for the burger, but honestly it did not take away from it. I only made it through about half before I was full. The fries were awesome. Crispy, well seasoned, and a perfect side to go with the burger. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes you get. You definitely feel like you are getting your money's worth here. The environment is very family friendly and welcoming. It is a relaxed place where you can sit down, eat, and not feel rushed. If you are looking for a great burger and fries, GM Kitchen 86 is definitely worth checking out. read more

This is the first restaurant in a really long time that convinced me to visit because of its ads. The sandwiches here are huge, dense, and tasty! I went with The Gaucho--an Argentinian-inspired mix of chimichurri, carne asada, and mild Italian sausage on a baguette. It had so much meat. Soooo much. I had it for lunch, and was not hungry for the rest of the day. They also had those sort of beer-battered, pre-seasoned fries, which I believe to be objectively superior to the rest. Service was good--it didn't take that long to get my order. Prices are good too--you're getting a nice deal with your meal. I would definitely want to try more from them, and I hope they can eventually find a permanent space to call their own! read more

The Tucson Burger. I don't mind a spicy burger, but when it takes 30 minutes for the burn to subside. Someone accidentally spilled a half a teaspoon of slaw. Nice burger, if I could taste more than heat.....tine it down. Too much spice ruins the chili flavor, and my teeth hurt.... read more

This is my got to! I've tried a lot of the menu and everything is top notch! I was born and raised in rhode island so I know good fish especially cod and the fist tacos were awesome! So delicious fried perfectly and so fresh! The cauliflower is on point always. The fries potato and sweet great. The el guacho is very good and the chopped cheese you'd never think ground beef could make such a good sandwich. The tacos dorados man are they good they reminded me of some home cooking you can only get at home. The elote is also delicious. Whatever you order you can't go wrong! read more

There isnt much to be said other than ive never been more glad to spend $12 on a complete meal. Every ingredient is of the highest quality and the food is as aesthetically pleasing as the pictures they use. Ridiculously good! Everything from the side salad to street corn and sandwiches (el gaucho!! And the chopped cheese special when available) were unbelievable. Great flavors, bread was great. Definitely a secret gem right now. Get you to it and give it a try asap!! read more

We took most of our soccer team and families here today after a soccer match, and everyone loved it! Most loved that we could be in one place and have many options. The street corn and Cubano are outstanding! The salad is lovely, with fresh lettuce, beets, fresh tomatoes, etc. It was a wonderful experience! I would highly, highly recommend it. GM Kitchen 86 is an exceptional find. The quality of food is way beyond what I have ever had at a food court. The fried cauliflower is something that I'd expect at an upscale restaurant. I ordered takeout for my family--the impossible burger, 86 burger, and turkey club. Everyone was happy with their food. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. It's not going to be the best you ever had in your life, and if you've been to Southern China, you're not going to be blown away. HOWEVER, it is the homemade taste that makes it good. It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.
