American Eat Co is literally one if the best spots in Tucson! GM kitchen is one of a kind, so many wonderful items in the menu. The gentleman who helped me was so kind and helpful, they are very in order and clean. I ordered the Sonora burger OMG OMG ABSOLUTE PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH with so many flavors. I couldn't decide on sweet potato fries or regular, He suggested that I get half-and-half was such a great suggestion because they were both absolutely delicious and highly recommend this place if you're in Tucson for sure he will be.

I stopped in on a Saturday early evening for some grub to go and ordered the mini 86 burger and fries. I was thrilled they offered a smaller version hamburger for $12 and it fully delivered on taste and quality. Fries were fresh and tasty as well. Highly recommend this spot!

The restaurant is one of many housed inside American Eat Co. It was during lunch hour so parking was limited but it wasn't so loud that I couldn't hear my friend talking. A nice location for a quick lunch date. GM Kitchen 86 has a variety of food options including burgers, tacos, and sandwiches. I tried the Baja Fish Tacos which came with three beer battered soft tacos. The food was fresh and delicious. It was easy to order and the service was quick.

This place is awesome. Got the double 86 burger, 2 different sides of fries, and an elote. Everything was prepared and tasted excellent. Glad to see another amazing business is in American Eat Co. I appreciate the food court offering. I'd guess it's more affordable than trying to start a brick and mortar restaurant. The service was slow for counter service but it wasn't bad. The order person was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely ear here if you can.

    El Gaucho Sandwich

The El Gaucho came highly recommended to me, so I was excited to give it a try. It was pretty good, but not all that spicy like the menu claimed. I couldn't decide on which fries I wanted, so they let me try half regular and half sweet potato. They both were nice and crispy. It ended up being a lot of fries, so overall it was a lot of food. It was a solid meal, and I wouldn't mind ordering it again.

Yummy! Staff was helpful with the menu and I was able to place my order with Ease. I had the gourmet burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious! The aioli mayo was a bit spicy and complemented the burger well. A lot of different options on the menu and I look forward to come back and trying something different.

At last, my Father's Day ended in great fashion. I had been wanting to try their Burger for a while and yesterday my daughter made it happen. It was OUTSTANDING. It moves into maybe my top 5 in Tucson. Bacon Cheeseburger no onions is my go-to. Classic is all you need. All I need to be in my happy place. The photo shows the Love I have. This spot in American Eats should have a line for anyone that like a burger in a fun vibrant upbeat setting. It was cooked and Made 100% as I asked. Great job GM86

American Eat Co. has soo many options, it's truly difficult to decide what to eat! This week, I chose GM Kitchen and originally wanted the Cuban sandwich, but instead switched to the Gaucho sandwich. I ordered fries with it & asked that the bread not be too crispy. The fries were good, and had a slight crunch. The sandwich was also pretty good. One bite and despite the condiments on it, you get the strong taste of sausage. This isn't bad if you like sausage, and I do. But I will say the taste of sausage overwhelmed anything else on the sandwich. Again, just an observation, as the sandwich was good. Staff was friendly and helpful as well.

    Cubano and salad

Interesting and terrific options especially in a food court. We got the chicken bahn mi and a cubano both with side salads. Both were excellent and the salad was amazing. I would get the salad by itself it was that good. The Gaucho was a tad dry but I think there just wasn't enough sauce and they weren't kidding about it being hot with the spicy sausage! We also got a side of fried cauliflower which was also tasty. The food did take a little bit of time to come out, but I don't really consider this "fast" food and it was worth the wait.

This place was awesome!!! The ambiance was amazing and it made me think like I was in a high class food court. There are what I believe to be 7 different restaurants here with each one adding some diversity to the experience. If you feel like having a slice of pizza with a Korean sandwich and some shrimp ceviche, then you can do that here. The food was amazing. My wife and I ordered from Monster and the quality of the food was out of this world. The service was excellent too and you can tell that each restaurant was well organized with how they delivered the food. If I'm ever in Tucson again, then I would definitely come back here. Only reason why I'm not giving it a five is because I haven't try all of the food from each restaurant yet.

Stopped in for a quick snack and got the deep Fried Cauliflower which had big Parmesan shavings and capers. Very good. Also had a patty melt which was equally delicious. The manager even brought over some churros because the order "took too long". Excellent food and service.

Very delicious and well served portions. My Bride and I had the Gaucho Hot sandwich with sweet potato fries with a fried Cauliflower appetizer.

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

I ordered my sirloin medium and it was definitely on the medium rare to rare side. It was as if they just didn't let it rest long enough. That was my impression because I watched the expo churn out the steaks in a way that seemed rushed. The french fries looked wonderful going out but unfortunately we got the over cooked batch. This place is located in an artsy / entertainment district close to downtown. When we went, there was road construction nearby that made getting here more challenging. Once we located it, the next challenge was parking. We visited around noon on a Saturday. There are no large parking lots, so you have to find something on-street. We ventured a couple of blocks off the main street and found something. However, the signage wasn't really clear on whether you had to pay on weekends or not. We accessed the parking app via a QR code, but it told us that our space 'was not available', despite the fact that we were in the space. A guy leaving the space next to us confirmed that parking *was* free on weekends, so we trusted that and walked to the restaurant. In retrospect, I think the app meant that we did not need to pay, but 'not available' seems a bit vague for that... The restaurant is located on a strip of old storefronts that now house restaurants, record shops, etc. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic out front, including a homeless guy asking for change. The atmosphere was sort of a loud, slightly cramped dive bar. I don't mean that in a bad way, but that was the vibe. The music was loud - none of it was familiar but I didn't hate it. I guess my point is that if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, this is probably not it. We initially were offered a table on their covered patio. We left one person there while sorting out parking, but when we came back they had a booth inside so we grabbed that instead. The patio seemed shaded and semi-comfortable, other than a loud barking dog. We browsed the menus and ordered our food. We all got half-and-half combos (soup/salad or sandwich/soup). The only issue was that the soups came in a bread bowl. I was able to finish my soup, but felt bad about not eating more of the bowl. If I'd had the option, I would have gotten a plastic bowl. The salad was pretty big, despite being only half. I finished most of it. We ended up having sufficient leftovers from others such that we took them back to our hotel (a relatively short drive) and finished them the next evening. All the food was tasty. This wasn't what I was expecting, but I'd consider eating here again given the right circumstances / group.

There is little deviations between the varied restaurants, but consistency does build clientele. I give OGI and this restaurant an extra star for their annual Veterans Day meals and that it is very convenient and the staff are better than average. We come hear about 2 or 3 times per year, it is in a building on the outside of a very crowded mall area. The parking lot is often full in the evening, so you may have to park away, and the spaces are small. They do have pickup and go spots. Getting into the mall area can be treacherous at night due to the traffic. On arrival, you will be greeted and taken back, or if in the evening you will be paged to your phone while you wait outside. The staff experience can very, but mostly they are very kind and attentive, we have had some experiences where the staff begin to forget about you after the meal is served, but this is more of an outlier. On entering you will find the bar area to your right, bathrooms to the left and going back through a hall to the dining areas. The rugs and decor are getting a little old and worn, as is the entrance and parking area. They are very busy, but we usually get our drinks and app orders in quick. There is a table device to request refills on drinks or food. Food is consistent and good. Nothing outstanding, but very good tasting and any issues are addressed easily with staff (like a forgot to mention food allergy). There is a good beer, wine and bar selection. Overall, OGI is a good place to take family and friends without worrying about changes. Parking lot and facility are the main downers, but staff and food make up for a lot.
