A really great option in the Park Place mall! I've only been here a handful of times, not often that I'm out towards that part of town how ever every single time I have enjoyed my entire experience. The customer service is great, always ready to help and knowledgeable of the menu. Omar, owner, has a great personality. There is a consideration in the making of the food, use of ingredients for example the use of olive oil for the dressings and the chicken cooked fresh. Salad Nation is located in the malls food court, so that experience in itself can vary from very crowded, busy and loud to quiet and empty. Plenty of seating though! My go to choice is one of the salad size options (regular or large) that come in 'bucket' which is a deep bowl and of course some waffle fries. There are several dressings that sound deciduous but I find myself continuing to go back to the Cilantro Avocado. The waffle fries are insanely great. Hand batter and perfectly fried, some of my favorite in town... like top 3. Being that it's a mall, there is plenty of parking, bathrooms and space. You may have to walk a little to get to the food court but for me, it's worth it. Mom tip: Being a mom I bring my kids to the play area too! read more

I am usually hesitant when it comes to a make your own salad option, but I knew I had to try it (even though the sandwiches and paninis were looking divine). Don't let the big bowl confuse you, you are able to mix it and get a good bite of everything. Even my husband who will never eat a salad would not stop taking bites of mine. There is a wide selection of toppings and dressings and protein choices (and the staff is very patient if you're a bit indecisive like me). And a nice choice of agua frescas. This hidden gem recently popped up as part of a Yelp event and I will fully admit I was skeptical when I saw it was in a mall food court (then I saw chicken and burgers and my skepticism grew). But after giving it a shot, I found the location and menu to be a-ok! I tried the crispy chicken sandwich (which one does at a place with 'salad' in the name) and oh my cluckin' goodness! It was a nice big piece of chicken, the breading was perfectly crisp and not greasy at all, and it was JUICY! I was so happy with my sandwich, also ordered sweet potato waffle fries which were yummy (and they have great ranch too). We also got the spicy crispy tenders (yum) and the Salad Nation panini which was huge and delicious! Their chicken sauce is amazing and everything was cooked well (and the chicken was juicy)! It is in a food court of a busy mall so there are a lot of people around, but there were parts of the seating area that weren't too people-y so that was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful and I will totally be back because the food was on point! This is a real bucket of salad. It is so good!!! I really love a salad bar, and I can't believe how generous Salad Nation is in their servings. The first time I tried it, I ordered a large and it was too much food for me! Now I get the regular and still almost struggle to finish it. The lettuce is kept cold in a fridge so it is super fresh, you get to add six toppings for a regular salad and a protein. I am dairy and gluten free, so I was nervous about their extensive dressing menu. I reached out on social media and they sent me this awesome list with my restrictions marked. Ranging from salads, to burgers, wraps, soups and paninis. I ordered the large mixed green salad and you get four toppings, I got edamame, quinoa, jalapeno and double hard boiled eggs. I added some pepper chicken and got some Caribbean mango vinaigrette on the side. The salad was tasty and filling and I was flavorful enough where I didn't need to use much dressing at all. Protein for your salad is extra: Buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, parsley chicken, and lemon pepper chicken, natural chicken, crispy chicken, lemon pepper crab, tofu, diced honey ham! How's that for choices. You can order a half salad with 4 toppings for $8.75 or a whole salad with 6 toppings for $10.05 before adding your protein. Today I purchased sweet potato fries and an Aqua Fresca, which comes in a bottle, and they had a few flavors to choose from. I picked the limonada. And a large menu for everyone to choose from and enjoy. As I walked up, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were very quick to provide service. I asked what they would recommend. And of course they suggested a salad, but if we wanted something different, the spicy chicken sandwich and a wrap were definitely another great option I asked about the soups, and they also advised that they were delicious and each one of them had their own flare. I ended up going with a spicy chicken sandwich, the jalapeño Caesar wrap, and the tortilla soup. And it took approximately 5 to 10 minutes to get my food, but it was definitely worth it. Everything was made fresh, and me to water. If you do order the chicken sandwich, be aware that it is spicy. Great flavor nice and crispy and very delicious. The portion of the chicken breast is definitely huge, and you could get a soda and fries for an additional four dollars. The tortilla soup was just like if your Nana made it. Great tomato stock flavor and they give you cheese avocado, and the tortilla chips to put on top of it. Just fantastic. The wrap was also delicious and the portion was also large. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I was not able to finish the entire portion, but was able to take the rest home to eat it the next day.. If you were going to be at the park place mall, I want something made to order fresh and delicious, I definitely recommend stopping here. You'll be very happy. For my salad series, I was so excited to check out salad nation. Not only do they have a great salad bar, but they offer soups, paninis, chicken tenders, and Aguas frescas, just to name a few! The salad I got was created by the wonderful help of jayda! I also ordered chicken tenders. They are packed with flavor and don't even get me started on the Chipotle ranch sauce! This is my favorite new place in the food court at the mall! I made the brilliant decision to stop here and grab some takeout after a few hours of successful shopping! You get to customize your order on the spot. All of the ingredients were super fresh and there are a ton to choose from. At first the price seems expensive but then when you see the bucket your salad comes in, and the number of people that will serve the price makes sense. I also ordered the Caldo de Queso, which is pictured here. This soup on its own is a filling meal with small diced potatoes, green chilis, and cubed Mexican white cheese (not sure what kind) with a very flavorful broth. Just the right kind of spicy. This will definitely be a new regular stop for me both when I visit the mall and when I feel like having a delicious salad with soup! read more

Ordered tonight off Uber Eats (which advertises it as Bird-n-Bun, because of the deals that were offered. I ordered the bogo spicy bird sandwiches and boneless fried chicken wings. The sandwiches (although really spicy) blows chick fil a away. They were great sized and juicy and delicious. Next time I'll try the less spicy version though. The wings or chicken tenders are perfect size and fresh chicken tenders. Lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Plenty of food left over for lunch tomorrow which I'll be looking forward to as well. The breading was heavy and delicious but the chicken patty was so juicy and tender that I was surprised. I had my first Chick-Fil-A last week and Salad Nation far surpassed what they offered. First time trying and didn't know what to order but Oscar was very helpful and said I should try the Spicy Tenders. Those are about as good as any I've had anywhere. The chipotle ranch is tasty and the tenders are big and spicy for real, not just spicy colored. I'm not sure if it was an off day because I saw tons of reviews saying they were amazing but mine were very bland, burnt and left a puddle of oil. Located in the Park Place mall food court. I ordered a half salad with mixed greens. They pull out a huge container, size of an ice cream tub. You get a choice of 4 toppings, mine were; Pico de Gallo, mushrooms, egg and feta cheese. They had a full salad bar of other options. I also added sunflower seeds and lemon pepper crab, with sesame ginger dressing. They don't skimp on their toppings, they put multiple scoops into the bowl of each one. They also put a little dressing on when they toss the salad, and the rest in a small container so you can put more on if you want. I like my salads swimming in dressing, but my wife doesn't so she appreciated the option. Overall really good salad and very generous servings. read more

I actually used to work here back when I was a freshman and sophomore at UA, and it was the best place I have ever worked at. Omar and his family are the sweetest people, being very flexible with my college schedule and extra curricular activities, and were just amazing people to work for. After long days after school and work, I would either get myself a salad or the chicken tenders, and I would devour it! The salads, the chicken tenders (my fav with their sweet potato fries and ranch!) and sandwich, paninis, soup, everything was always so good. I was really sad to leave them when I transferred colleges, but I wish them nothing but the best, and am hoping they add more locations soon! read more
