I give them 3.5 stars. I took away half a star for ambiance. The place looks nice and inviting but the sound of the music and restaurant noise drowns out conversation. I took away one star because they gave me gluten in the nuts which doesn't make sense. The food was really good and tasty and they offer a generous portion. I ordered a build your own salad with romaine, Parmesan cheese, tomatoes and Caramelized walnuts. This morning I woke up with the terrible feeling I had been gluten-ized. I have celiac disease and cannot digest wheat. I have made caramelized walnuts and pecans before and know that wheat is not part of the recipe. Today, I called the restaurant and asked if the walnuts have gluten and was put on hold. The employee came back and said "they think so". I think restaurants (especially chains) need to step up and not buy or make things with wheat don't need wheat in them. I dislike the ignorant attitude of restaurant owners. I love the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo and the strawberry fields salad is also a favorite. They've also added a tasty new soup to the lineup, which was tasty, but different than I expected. The corn and chicken chowder has great flavor, but is a lot like chili in appearance and texture, so a bit different than corn chowders I've had in the past. It was really good, though, and I'd order it again. My one complaint is that the salads are really large and I wish there was a half-sized option. I love their menu, as there are so many options to choose from besides salads and they make Panini's and grain bowls, Mac n cheese, soups etc. I chose the organic spring mix with Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, beets and provolone cheese. For dressings they have many options, I chose olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can also add grains and nuts or protein to your salad if you wish. As an added extra I enjoyed their sea salt focaccia bread. They offer a kids menu with reasonable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant! This place was so unwelcoming. (Visit 10/14/23 6:50-6:55PM) When I walked in for my first visit...ever, there was tons of staff lined up behind a glass sneeze guard, there was also one guy standing behind the ordering counter staring straight at the door making direct eye contact with anyone who walked in...aka me. Not a single person said hello nor welcome in, let alone acknowledged me. As I scanned the room, each and every employee just stared at me blankly. It was extremely uncomfortable. If I hadn't ordered online and pre-paid for my food I would've turned around and walked out. I had to put the initiative into talking to the guy standing behind the counter. I said hello and stated that I had an online order. He told me it wasn't ready yet and to give them a minute. I said ok and sat down. He got my bag and placed it on the counter while calling out my name even tho I was only 2feet from the counter. He set it there and turned around. I asked if there was utensils in the bag and he said there should be (still with his back turned towards me). I scoffed, grabbed my bag and drink cup, got my drink and left. The sandwich I had was ehh 2/10 but online it didn't allow any customizations so I wrote a note in the special instructions box to just add mustard in addition to the already included mayo. My sandwich had neither mayo nor mustard. I also ordered a side of Mac & cheese which was the driest, most bland thing ever! (See pictures below) The noodles absorbed the orange color of the cheese...very unappetizing. It was also like they had cooked it multiple times or was old and they just reheated it. I couldn't even stir it. All the noodles were stuck together and stuck to the tray it came in. It was nearly impossible to separate the noodles from themselves and the packaging, they were also extremely crispy and crunchy. The whole experience was horrible and the food was disgusting. Not a fan. My first time. I spent $32 on 2 items. My salad was not fresh fresh. The avocados were brown. For a chopped salad it could have been "chopped" more. The mac n cheese was old and/or over cooked. I like almost ANY type of pasta with cheese, can't go wrong there. $9 mac n cheese......hhhmmm. I usually will give places a 2nd try. I will try them again but it will have to be awhile. I just was not impressed. A $15 salad should be better. read more

I was super excited to place a pick up order today for a custom salad and a Toscana grain bowl. With much disappointment and $35 later both were inedible. In addition, the cheese was missing from the grain bowl and initially I thought it was missing the ordered chicken. I found maybe 4 pieces of pulled spicy chicken but no blackened chicken as ordered. The custom salad had water logged kale and romaine. The blue cheese dressing tasted like mayonnaise and while this did have the ordered blackened chicken, likely about 2 oz, at most, tasted like rubber. Such a very disappointing and expensive meal. Had to go out to Wendy's afterwards and spend another $20 to feed ourselves. read more
