    Delicious things in here!

Awesome sweet empanadas. Not overly sweet which I prefer. Roll cake and tortillas were also great. Friendly staff. I'll go back for sure!

I purchased sweet bread and homemade tortillas. Amazing prices, and very fresh food. They also carry tamales.

DELICIOSO! Nice variety, reasonable prices, very friendly staff. Don't be fooled by the kinda dumpy exterior - all inside is fresh and clean. Excellent selection.

Great Dulces. That's our purchase on top, including two kinds of tamales

We searched out this bakery because they supply Karichmaka. We weren't disappointed! We bought sweets, 3 sizes of tortillas and two kinds of tamales. The service was great.

Very good fresh bread. they also have hotdog, torta, and burger options. A day old bread is cheaper then the day of bread. And they have bundle options. of just a fresh box. Traditional Mexican sweet bread. customer service is not the best. you can pre order your Holiday bread as well.

Stopped in for some Mexican goodies and walked out with more. So good. The marranitos are the best I have ever had. Great customer service, very friendly. The flour tortillas are made fresh there, really good and thin.

Thanks to fellow Yelper, Cheryl, we headed out to the El Triunfo Bakery to get some empanadas. To be honest, if it hadn't been for her review I probably would have driven right on by. But I am so glad I didn't! We ordered up some apple and pumpkin empanadas for ourselves and friends and they were wonderful. I also had to get a couple sugar cookies and thoroughly enjoyed them. They have a large selection of sweets so be prepared to make some tough choices. We'll have to return soon and get a bag of their chips that Yelper Brian raved about. It's a bit off the beaten path but if you're in the area, definitely stop and treat yourself to some great bakery treats and meet the friendly staff.

I'm not too sure why this place only has 1 review? Perhaps it's the location. That being said, if you're anywhere on the south side of town it's worth a stop. Don't be afraid. The exterior of the bakery can certainly be intimidating...looks more like an old prison than a place to pick up some empanadas!! I used to frequent this bakery when I worked at Raytheon since it's on the way so I knew I could stop by en route to the airport and get some tortillas and empanadas to take to friends in MN. I don't remember their selection being so small but it had been years since I had been to El Triunfo and over those years I've since visited many other panaderias. I ordered up my dozen empanadas; pineapple, apple and pumpkin, as well as 2 dozen extra large tortillas. They didn't have the tortillas up front so I was worried but the gal behind the counter brought me some from the back that were just made and still warm!! I knew I was sending this stuff with my husband but I just couldn't help myself and shoved a pumpkin empanada down my throat before I pulled out of the parking lot. Seriously those things are some of the best pastries on the planet. I can't stand pastries that are overly sweet and these were some of the best tasting in Tucson. One of these days I need to have an empanada throw down because I think every time I taste one I say it's "the best". I just love love love them! El Triunfo bakes theirs to perfection with the right amount of sweet and the right amount of pumpkin and pure flaky perfection. Just beautiful!!

The tortillas are the absolute best! Thick and floury. The service was quick. Their bakery is good.

Great local bakery that's been around for over 20 years. Very tasty breads and all things sweet, don't pass on the croissants.

LBP's bakers make the sublime goods that I recall from back then. Their crust is crunchy/chewy and their bread is substantial, yet cloud-like. Miches, baguettes, epis, loaves, rolls, croissants, & special flavors; all are highest quality bread. And their cake & pastries? Sainte vache! They have fluffy cream puffs, creamy eclairs, yummy cookies, flavorful pies, and more. And don't get me started on their cupcakes, which are moist and tender and even better when they're Cosmic. There is something indescribably delicious about the apple and cherry Crisps. *Chef's Kiss* The staff at La Baguette Parisienne is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They are also incredibly kind. On my last visit, I managed to take an epic fall (really more of a clumsy crumple) that included pushing a rolling counter across part of the store. My middle name is "Grace". The owner, Kim, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (nor could the customers there at the time, so I guess kindness attracts kindness). She helped me to get up and was gracious regarding my minor rearrangement of her shop and cheerful enough that I went from embarrassment to laughter in record time. My late beloved Mama found this lovely, cute bake shop decades ago when they first opened, and she was a delighted weekly customer whenever she was at her east-side Tucson home. I hope to carry on her tradition, if less frequently from my UA-area home, until my time on the planet is done (bury me with a plain large Miche, a Cherry Crisp, and a Cosmic Cupcake, please). Highly recommend!

You really wouldn't see this place driving down Wilmot because it's tucked behind two businesses, with 4 fifteen minutes parking spots designated for the shop. It's a small little pie shop and all pies are six inch mini pies for $7.99. Many are topped with pipped whipped cream unless you order a double crust fruit pie or quiche. I think I've sampled every pie. The size is perfect to split with someone. No drinks or other things are available here, but one can purchase drinks down the way at Beyond Bread. The staff are always getting customers rung up and out quick. Because the space is so small you go in the entrance, order your pies and then go out an exit door. There's no room for meandering or window shopping. You just wait your turn to look and order right away and I rung up the whole space is quite small nonetheless it's fun to go there and get a little treat now and again. And today was one of those days. My mom and I parked while my sister was checking out Bookmans. We picked out a pie to share, went to the patio to eat it, and it was good.
