We were surprised at the large variety of menu items and some more creative that the larger brick and mortar. Those French toast options like brown sugar pecan or the Nutella are enough to have us find our way back across town to try soon! The burrito was really substantial and came with a couple salsa cups. We got home and shared the burrito and everything was cooked perfect, fluffy eggs, real baked potatoes that were griddled to crisp and house made chorizo that had a wonderful flavor and no hard bits. There is enough room inside and on the patio to accommodate a few small groups, though I usually order to go. They prepare their food to order with pride, love and attention to detail that shows in each offering. Their beverage game has elevated to include frappes, cochata (coffee + horchata), macchiatos, and fruity refreshers. Any chance I get, I introduce friends to this place. The basic breakfast burritos are outstanding and so filling. They're definitely in my top 3. And if you add the homemade sausage, then they take the top spot. Every single time they hit it out of the park. The prices are also fantastic. I live a good 30 minutes away but I'd happily drive to this place to satisfy my breakfast burrito cravings! Someone in our group also ordered the Nutella crêpe and she was a massive fan. The crêpe was large, and it came with bananas, strawberry, chocolate, and whipped cream. Her exact quote is: Super delicious, super filling, will be back". And Fratelli not only makes bomb food, their coffee is also stellar! My one beef was that we didn't get sleeves for the cups, so it was a little hard to hold the cups at first but both the horchata latte and the cappuccino were the perfect temp and just delicious. I've driven past this place and never knew it existed as there aren't any lights saying "OPEN". Went here for lunch with a coworker and was pleased with the food and drink options. Ordered the ice caramel macchiato and two breakfast combos with a chorizo burritos. The menu claims the burritos are 1/2 size of the normal burritos but they were still a good size. Don't think the place is closed. I drove up while it wasn't busy. I guessed I just missed the rush. The place is modest, but they make excellent breakfast burritos. I would guess the rest of the menu is very good too. I heard they make their own chorizo and the man at the counter confirmed. I don't often eat chorizo, but this was better than what I'm normally used to. The burrito was a ~$10 burrito, but the portions were large. The place is small and quaint. This place is such a whole in the wall. It's also super easy to pass by unless you know what you are looking for. Their name presents itself as a traditional coffee and breakfast stop but what is surprising is that they also have an expansive and generous lunch and dinner menu with both a Mexican and Italian flair. There was a man at the window and me and my family were asking him if we could do halves. We did this on Sunday, he said "we only do halves from Tuesday to Thursday." Is your knife out of order? This place used to be found at the corner of oracle and orange grove (or farmers markets), but now they have their own building! My family's gotten food from here quite a few times, and we're always impressed at how much they can do in a little food truck. The panini is pretty good and tastes fresh, but the shrimp pasta is definitely the best thing we've tried from here so far. The asparagus is cooked perfectly and tomatoes add a nice pop of acidity to the rich, creamy sauce. They even have horchata! Wow! I didn't expect the food to be soo good. Fratelli Espresso did move the location from Oracle road to 2120 W Ruffrauth Rd. I got the potato, egg, cheese, and chorizo burrito, which was amazing with great flavor and the salsa was a nice additive. My girlfriend got the chocolate chip pancakes and I can say they are the best pancakes I have ever had. Super soft and fluffy with the perfect crisp to them.
