Found my new favorite breakfast spot. The pancakes are fluffy, the portions are huge. A solid 5-star experience for anyone who loves a traditional morning meal.

Solid small chill breakfast spot. Prices are excellent and they give you a solid amount of food. Will try to make it for the M-F special $6.99 I think for 4 breakfast items. Not bad

My friend's Corn Beef Hash and 2 Eggs - perfectly cooked.

Omg. This place is the bomb of diners-a must go to!! Whether you're in the mood for pancakes or posole, a breakfast burrito or chicken fried steak-you have come to the right place. It's on the Westside right off interstate tucked away in a little strip mall. I'm salivating just thinking about their posole, which they only serve on Saturdays & Sundays. They also make white and red menudo on the weekends. I've had their chicken fried steak as well - also top notch, along with their perfectly cooked home fries and biscuits. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Breakfast burritos come with a side of the best frijoles in town. My friend raves about their corned beef hash. Love the wait staff and love the atmosphere. Just be prepared to wait, like all good diners.

It's been forever since I've been here, maybe a decade? On the west side of Tucson, we have lacked culinary options, but KG has been a fixture. Perhaps that is the strongest statement about KG - a stable fixture. Serivice is nice, comfortable, and familiar. The food is also comfortable, without surprises; no fancy pretentious names. My friend did mention that we were the youngest by far. That is another positive, I suppose. If you are feeling old and tired, visit here to be reaffirmed that age is just a number and that there are many people older than you. They are living alive, and they might even start an introduction by saying "when I was your age..." So, here is to KG and many patrons who have many more decades of breakfast left.

The hiking disciples held our power breakfast conference at this establishment. The coffee's were full and the french toast was on point. I consumed enough carbs to catapult me in the work week! Thanks for showing us some Westside love. We were able to discuss the logistics for our next summit! KG's for the win.

The line was the usual long line and with my dog, was much better as people talk and pet dogs in line and it went fairly fast. The line was in shade with the nearby tree so it made it that much better. The ambiance is the misters around that are welcomed by all, the pretty tree and greenery and fencing and signage they have used to decorate this small outdoor place so well. The shaded and covered tables outside had various chairs and enough space for people to rotate in and out- esp with our dogs that love the cool brick to lie on:) Now, the absolute best part is the food- still amazingly worth waiting for and delicious!! I got the burrito( basic has potato, egg, beans , cheese) and the protein I added was bacon and extra was guac. Also got the 16oz Dirty Chai. My friend came for first time and was surprised to open her order and find two burritos- I knew and wanted to see her face- she loved the taste and the fact she had lunch or dinner later as one truly is so full of deliciousness- it fills you up! We each had one we took home ! This place- just a treat for anyone wanting fantastic and pure local service and food! Highly recommend!!!

I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Teaspoon is one of the best overall restaurants in Tucson…read more I've been here a few times over the last year or so. It has never disappointed in service, quality or taste. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

This might be first come first served but I am not totally sure. The food is a really good spread of options. Pancakes, german pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict(s) monte cristo, omelets, croque madame, country chicken with biscuits and sausage gravy, chilaquiles con pollo, avocado toast, savory crepe, and even a breakfast pizza. Oh and they offer a few skillet options too-southwest, loaded baked potato, and sausage and peppers skillet. So many options!! I can't speak too much for lunch but I did see burgers on the menu. Not too helpful in that arena sorry. The eggs Benedict with ham was awesome. Side of potatoes with a bit of all seasoning and a side salad with awesome light dressing comes with it. The dutch baby was also great. A german pancake served savory with sausage. Huge portion. Come check this place out and make sure if you don't want to wait you call in advance when driving there and ask to get on their "wait list" you may not be able to get a reservation but you can do this. My favorite meal during our most recent trip to Tucson! And very dog friendly!!!…read more Big dog approved: We came with our large dog, and were able to sit with him on the patio. We came during May, when it starts to get warm, but he did well since there is a good amount of shade out on their patio and they provided a nice big water bowl for our special boy. The staff also were kind enough to move one of our chairs out of the way so our dog had lots of room to lay down. Staff were all very kind and never seemed annoyed with the dog (you can always tell at a restaurant if they are, and they were very happy to accommodate him). Very dog friendly!! The food: We gotta talk about their French onion soup. It was pretty dang delicious! The broth itself is quite nice, a nice cheese portion, and the baguette was divine. I also had their French Connection sandwich (with a side of fries), and it had a great combo of ooey, gooey cheese, firm and flavorful ham, and served on a really delicious loaf. Really solid fries, too. We didn't end up getting any drinks but saw several people ordering yummy looking bites. If (but likely when) we come back to Tucson, I'm making a point to return to Cup Cafe!
