Rustic cowboy cafe in the sale barn building. Lots of locals love it, and based on the reviews I wanted to try it out. While it was busy when we first walked in around 950am, the breakfast folks cleared out fairly soon and only about half the tables remained seated. Unfortunately, we still waited over an hour (1105am) to get our food, and one of our orders had to be sent back to the kitchen. The waitresses were kind but seemed stressed and overwhelmed. While the food we eventually got tasted decent, unfortunately I don't think I would be back.

Chicken Fried Steak, gravy nice, eggs perfect

Good ol Cowboy breakfasts with great service and lots of locals. Right in the stockyard area. Loved it! Great coffee and anything's good here! Churro French toast was incredible and the chicken fried steak killer. Loved the ambiance of this off highway place. We'll be back!!

This place is out in the middle of nowhere, but a pleasant surprise. I went for breakfast with a friend, and it seemed like the only other patrons were local regulars. They were all very friendly! The waitress was nice enough as well. I ordered a tres leches pancake and the chorizo breakfast burrito. The pancake was moist and fluffy, and it was a nice flavor. The burrito came with a side of salsa and was also pretty good. It had a lot stuff in and was pretty filling. On the downside, I was immediately harassed by flies as soon as I sat down and for the entire time we were there. A fly even got stuck in my pancake vanilla drizzle :( but I did receive 10% off for checking in on Yelp!

Found Luna Cafe on our maps after leaving the Marana Pumpkim Patch and saw it was just down the road! Located inside the Marana Stockyard, Luna Cafe is a perfect local stop! The chorizo burrito (my go to when judging a new breakfast spot in Southern AZ) was PACKED with chorizo and the eggs were so fresh!! The housemade salsa set fire to my entire body but I couldn't help but pour it on! The country fried steak sandwich is (and i quote) the best sandwich my husband has had since moving here almost 4 years ago. The cheese crust on the bread was insane and so good! The pancakes were huge and filling and checked that homestyle box we all look for at local breakfast spots. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The decor is Stockyard vibes in the best way! Full of articles and photos of Marana cowboy history. Take a walk around the inside and take in the history while there!

Dining area, splendid decor.

This is a fantastic Cafe that you will experience the best breakfast or lunch in the Tucson area, a beautiful decorated western theme, nested in the Stockyard building, you will be surprised. The lunch was most enjoyable, delicious and the service and staff very attentive, our new favorite restaurant, you won't be disappointed, a local family business that treats you like family...5 Stars and more.

We LOVE Luna kitchen!!! The best chiliquiles I've ever had! Everything we ordered was great! Love that it is family owned & runned! Service was great. The decorations are so cute! Definitely worth the drive!! Can't wait to go back!

Best Burger in the "Best of the Northwest 2025" was just awarded. I had to go see what it was about. It did NOT disappoint. What a GREAT Burger. Not a smash, but a nice thick Burger patty like they used to be and in my Classic Burger mindset, should be. Plus, the Luna Cafe is an experience. If you have ever been to the Marana Veterans Cemetary or to the Marana Pumpkin patch, well that's close to where this Diner is. It is a destination, not a place you will casually just be driving by. It is in the vintage Marana stockyard auction building. Very, like let's say Rustic & Dated, old Ft. Worth. Of Note, and it did not deviate from our experience, the restrooms and the entrance into the building are not very updated. They are part of the Auction house and are very dusty maybe due to the Wednesday Auctions. The Cafe itself is really cozy, clean and has awesome food and a great friendly staff. My Cheeseburger With added bacon and avocado was a 9.5/10. Huge. Fries where a 10.

It's just simply delicious and so reasonably priced. I had a cattle crusher. Roast beef, cheese the usual but very fresh tasting and very good. I made it a meal. It is up to you if you want to do so or not. If you just want the main item then that's what you get. If you make it a meal you have a choice of sides. Chips, potato salad, Mac salad and more. A drink is also included be it a soda or a coffee. Either way you are customizing what you get to your liking. Even the coffee. They have the fancy stuff. But if you choose a simple coffee, they have 3 flavored creamers to choose from along with simple cream and sugar. They run daily specials. My companion decided on today's special of an English muffin breakfast. It was an English muffin with a meat patty, Poblano chili, cheese, and a hash brown. It came with coffee as well. We both had a nice meal for just $15. How can one go wrong? Inside there is bar top seating. But they have a beautiful patio with a fountain that creates quite a relaxing atmosphere. You can also get items to go. The employees. Are sweet. Friendly and efficient. If I lived nearby I think I'd come frequently. Menu specials change daily. You can always build your own breakfast or sandwich from the list and they will make it for you.

Stopped by here after picacho peak hiking. This was probably one of the only restaurants nearby…read more For the price, the food is great. Not the biggest fan of cash only on the weekends and the fact that there's no restroom was a little weird also not the cleanest establishment. But other than that, overall it was a great experience! The service was good otherwise as well.

In 1999 while working at a local Tucson business in the early morning hours, the boss bought…read more breakfast burritos for us all. When he said Nico's, everyone got excited and when is Al's I had never had it, they told me I was in for a treat. They were right. I can still remember that burrito, as big as my forearm, stuffed with egg, potato, bacon and cheese. It was delicious to the last bite. I became a Nico's devotee from that moment forward. As I travelled the world, whenever I returned home to the Old Pueblo, stopping at Nico's became a ritual for me and my family. That's why this review is difficult to write. While the food is still tasty and the portions are sizable, the customer service was dreadful. Apparently my first mistake was to ask about the "Flying Saucer" which is the Thursday special. I was told that it's basically a chimichanga with an open tortilla. It comes in chicken or beef machaca. I asked which the employee prefers, and received a smart Alec response that their tastes are different from mine. My wife ordered a carne asada chimichanga, I ordered the chicken spaceship, my son ordered the chicken tacos. Our friendly attendant forgot to take the taco order and we had to pay for that separately. Apparently Nico's has adopted a pricing scheme where the displayed price is only for cash payment. A different price is charged for credit cards. This policy is explained with a small sign by the register. Nowhere does it explain the difference. Apparently credit cards negate the special. The attendant told me that Filiberto's does the same thing, when I asked about the difference in price of what was charged from what was on the menu. The funny thing is that I don't mind the surcharge. I resent the lack of transparency, and the rude behavior from the attendant. So, thanks for the memories. I don't need the attitude.
