I'll be the first to admit that the drive-through isn't speedy. But the staff was super friendly and they gave my standard poodle a really nice pup cup with a large dog biscuit. I ordered a large lemonade iced tea. So I can't really comment about the coffee. But the place has a really nice vibe and a lovely patio for the dog and I to relax. That's all I can really ask for. I definitely come back and I hear they're opening more of these in the area. I'm glad to see a certain other chain getting competition. read more

We went on their opening day. The line to order stretched to the back door. The line moved very quick, and the workers did an amazing job to get everyone taken care of. We ordered two coffees and a strawberry smoothie. The first coffee was a blended Irish cream. The second coffee was a caramel macchiato iced oat milk latte. We waited probably less than five minutes for the drinks to be ready. All three were quite tasty. Good job to all of the workers for Black Rock coffee bar on your opening day success! WORST coffee I've ever had. First of all I waited in line for what feels like forever just to get a coffee and a snack. Me and my man got two different drinks and I kid you not it tasted the same. I paid $22 for two coffee and a sandwich. INSANE. McDonald's is next next door and you can get a coffee from there for 1.89. Not coming back. read more

My order was received late and left at my door without knocking to let me know it had finally arrived. By the time I realized it had finally arrived, the drink was melted and hot. I have found that the drive through seems to be very slow. I have been there with two cars in front of me twice and customers only ordering 1 beverage and have driven through with only my car in line and still very slow. This was NOT at peak hours. Beverages are always very good once received. The girls have always had great customer service. Only rating a 3 only due to being slow. read more

I walked in the place on the Fourth of July around 430pm. There were three customers inside sitting inside and one car in the drive-through and 3 or 4 employees behind the counter working. As I approached the counter no one spoke to me so I looked around for my mobile orders to pick up. I finally saw two drinks over on the side near a young woman making drinks. I asked her were they the mobile order for @@@@? She said yes and went back to making drinks. The latte's I got are good but she messed up the order. They made two mediums but we ordered a large and a medium. When I realized it I brought it to their attention and they questioned me about my order so I went to get out my phone to prove it to her but she looked it up her system before I could show her the screen shot. While waiting for them to fix it I noticed their AC is leaking right by the line near cash register. They had a bucket there but water was all over the floor for a customer to slip on. They need to remedy the issues quickly. First impressions last and this wasn't a great one. read more

I've ordered from here many times now and everything is always great and service is always friendly. This morning, 07/29, I had an unexpectedly horrible morning. I was very late picking up my order and was in an overall bad mood. An absolute angel of a human being truly changed the day for me. Beautiful young man (dreadlocks, smile that could light up all of Marana) with a glowing spirit handed me my order, but it was his shining attitude that really stood out. That is exactly the type of human being that everyone should have an interaction with in the morning. Sets the tone for a good day. I hope his goodness comes back to him one hundred fold. Went through the drive thru and ordered a coffee for me and a ham and swiss croissant for my toddler. This is only my third time going to BR so maybe this is normal, but they handed me a super cold, hard croissant. When I realized, I went back through the drive thru and told them it was super hard and cold. No apology. Just said, "Ok I'll get you another one.". He came back this time with a nuked, super stale croissant. I never leave reviews. This was particularly bad. read more

Just got a shake at new marana store, got home and its not a real shake! Very disappointef. Tastes like cold chocolate flavored water with ice chunks! Yuk. I threw it out! Unable to call the store website says they dont havd phones, psid $10 for small shake and blueberry muffin! A shake is made with ice cream, not water! Wasted my money! read more
