Recently though we had a less than ideal take-out order situation, but the mark of a good place is how these situation are dealt with. We eat at Fini's several times a year. Seems like it's been awhile since I reviewed so figured it was time for an update. We went for lunch on a weekday with a party of 9. They accommodated us very nicely. Our meals were serviced all at once and were nice and hot. I had a carnitas quesadilla, which I don't think I've ever had. It was crispy and delicious. Went to Fini's for a work happy hour and it was divine! They were really busy but we all still got our food quick and you could tell everything was fresh. Our waiter was very attentive, and very sweet and despite it being packed he checked on us quite a few times, clearing plates and taking more orders. The ambiance is also very nice the place is covered in surf boards and it appears that they offer live music on some nights as well! We live bit far from the restaurant, it takes around 25mins driving, but we come because of the kid's school fundraising. Order online around 5pm, then got there around 5.40pm. It was very busy, almost couldn't get a parking. The food was ready when we got there, I didn't check them and just picked up then left. Once we get home and open the food, my order was not complete. There was no chicken wing, as mentioned in the menu description for the blacken Caesar salad. Since we live far, I didn't want to drove back but I email them to make a complaint. Had a great experience here! Waitress was very helpful and kind, she was so understanding and even went to extra lengths with my many food allergies. She even remembered our order without writing it down! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very fun and beach-themed, you almost forget you're in Tucson! I ordered the shrimp bowl but with blackened salmon instead and it was delicious. All the ingredients were so fresh, the salmon was very tasty and cooked perfectly, and the cauliflower rice far surpassed my expectations! Tasted great with chipotle mayo as well. Ordered 3 different tacos to try. All were really tasty. When I went in to the restaurant I noticed it's a sports bar more than a restaurant. But that's okay. Stood by front door for few mins before someone came over to ask what I wanted. Said I wanted to order take out. She directed me to the one bartender who was handling the whole bar and like 30 customers all by herself. She was actually pretty quick to take my order and they came up in like 10 mins. The bun, the burger patty and the bacon all burnt and accompanied with a hair. We also got a chubasco burger(medium) and the landing cobb salad. Ordered take out. The quesabirria was really good. The nachos came with lots of food, and each dish was stored separately for takeout so that the chips didn't get soggy. The elote-crusted shrimp taco was amazing! The pollo al pastor taco was also good. The blackened fish tacos didn't seem to have a ton of flavor. Only let down of the food was that it did not seem like they heated their tortillas long enough, so the tortillas for the tacos were falling apart as soon as they were picked up. We brought our Meetup group to Fini's last night consisting of over 24 people. We mostly came to listen to the band but to also dance eat and drink. The ambience is modern and clean, fairly cheerful. The staff is nice, friendly and possibly overworked. The food is fairly typical bar, food, but tasty and almost identical to the sister bars menu at the Landing. ..
