Service was good. Attentive. Started off with crab cakes and a margarita. It was pretty good. The remoulade is strong so I would have preferred it on the side instead of the cakes sitting right on top of it. The fish and chips were okay. Fish was decent but small. Way too many fries and just wasn't worth the price.

Forgot to take a picture before digging in.

It had been years since we had been to Trident II when we decided to go there with two friends and try their fish and chips. We were surprised when going in to find so many servers. The hostesses were especially friendly, which really set the tone going in. We all ordered the fish and chips. The fish was probably the best we have had in Tucson. The batter was the perfect consistency and tasty. The cole slaw was perfect as well, not drowned in mayo or overly dressed. The fish portions were generous. So were the french fries, although we would have preferred non-seasoned fries. The servers were also uniformly friendly and efficient. The ambiance was pleasant. As we ate we realized why so many servers - it was game day and it was packed before we left. The locale has a large parking lot which is convenient. We will return soon.

I was in the mood for some fish and chips and remembered enjoying the fish here. Of course I thought they had all closed but I was happy to find out this location was still open. The place seems more a bar for the Grey haired types instead of a restaurant. Service was super fast and friendly. Now to the food. We started with frid clam strips which were straight from a box. But I enjoyed their tartar and cocktail sauce. My wife ordered a Philly cheesesteak and it was like a regular Philly, completely unseasoned. Which is not good in my mind. I got the captains platter, the fish was of course great, the shrimp jumbo, the calamari seemed out of the box. The fries were overcooked bordering on burnt for both of us. Overall it scratched my fried fish itch.

Great service and we loved sitting on the patio with the live music on a Sunday morning! Great variety of breakfast and lunch options.

Love this location. Great atmosphere overall. Every starters, entrees, and drinks are delicious. The team here is quite attentive. The mussels are our favorite! Oysters are OK- Trident needs to ensure the oysters are completely separated from the bottom shell so it's easier and suitable for guests to eat. We had to still remove the oyster front its muscle of the bottom shell. Oysters typically should just slide into a person's mouth.

Door Dash side mac n cheese... 4$ um, where's the rest?

This restaurant makes good food though sometimes a little pricey for what you get... With our main entrees through Door Dash we also added two side orders of Mac n Cheese (one with bacon) for $4 and $5 respectively... good deal, right? Until we open the containers to see they are literally half full... a pint container half full. A little disappointing, was good though. All four bites of it... I mean it's Mac and Cheese. At least fill the container.

Chicken skewers. Gross, dry and not a lot of sauce....

Ok. Food is hit or miss. Depends who is cooking honestly. Beer selection and nfl games are on point! I love that they have San Diego IPA's and the bar seating wraps entirely around the bar. Bartenders are all great. Definitely a fun place to happy hour.

Great spot to watch the game! The Dented Eggs (their deviled eggs) were delicious, even without the bacon, with a nice avocado filling and a bit of sriracha kick. My friend had the Pomegranate Mega Mimosa--super refreshing--and a solid Bloody Mary with great garnishes. The All American Breakfast Sandwich was hearty and flavorful with three eggs, ham, bacon, and cheese on a pretzel bun. Friendly staff and great service made it even better. I'll definitely be back! Let me know if this works!

Showed up at 11. Seated right away and brought drinks. We took a little time to check out the menu, then ordered. The waitress was kind. The food took a Very Long time to get to us. Some mix-up between the order a the kitchen. We were here an hour before we got our orders. (Only bad thing) When it came, Mom really liked her sliders and the pickles. I enjoyed the salad with chicken. It was actually too much for me to finish! Dad loved the Gumbo and ended up taking the chicken sandwich with him. He said it tasted Very good. Because of the terrible delay, the Manager comped our meals. (Very Kind) The prices were a bit much for us, but for the Gumbo we would be back.

Service was great by karina. She came out and was personable and patient with us. Beer and food was great and they let dogs outside. The Nelson was good. Had a lot of great pick of food and was worth the $18. The beer selection was great and the happy hour is decent. Thanks again karina!

    Is there outside seating?

    Yes there is outside seating.

How many tv's for baseball games? And do they carry the Angels games?

They have quite a few TV's both inside and outside (i wild say 10 or more). I have seen people ask their servers if they can put on a basketball game that's on, or even soccer. So I am sure that is the game is on TV and you ask, they will put it on…

Bellied right up to the bar, got drinks and menus immediately, waited less than 5 minutes to order food, and food was out in less than 10 minutes after that. My husband ordered a patty melt and fries (amazing and the patty was cooked to a perfect rare) and I had a "girl lunch" salad with some of his fries. Michelle was absolutely wonderful and it was lovely talking to her and another patron (may have been the owner!) at the bar about Bisbee and Tombstone. We hope to be back for lunch on our return home - 10/10, would recommend!

Our bartender was extremely busy, but she still managed to check on us regularly (kudos to her for that). For drinks, we ordered a house Cabernet Sauvignon and a draft beer, both were great. For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. Prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean, but they were missing paper towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

Sauce didn't stand out, the cracker crisp dough/crust did, if you like that style (lite for lunch but you will still be hungry if expecting neopolitan etc. I easily finished my lunch 8") + any 1/2 Salad-- got Raspberry; it was swimming in dressing, no fresh raspberries oddly and came with feta vs goat cheese, dried crans and blues and balsamic vinaigrette. Spring salad greens were lovely and fresh but really choked on the amt of dressing every other bite with a pool of liquid on plate bottom, a kitchen faux pas. Decent value but really wanted pasta but starting $20+ @ lunch without a side salad, bread or soup, think again! ** Guess I missed the small text that you can order pasta as a half @ half price rounded up w garlic bread, just read it on the website?? Other plates- Club looked great and come std with chips, not sure how much salad add on would be, $2 fries. Salads Caesar and Caprese looked ok but half Salmon was only about 3oz for think $8?! IDENTITY? Oddly name doesn't reflect it's Italian, could be French as a Bistro, yet part sports bar. Lunch Pricing or 1/2 Pasta orders should be more prominent as a Lunch Option. High top tables outside, al fresco on a narrow side patio, and a bar with TV screens and glass partition is what greets you on entry so reads more sports bar than Bistro but covers rent likely. Bit grubby feeling on entry and throughout experience from reading Menu to WC visit; pricing not in line with ambience/ethereal experience. Food quality we tried was good enough but would be happier paying if surrounds were more vividly appealing. SERVICE Kitchen was off-- sandwich came 10 mins before salads then 10 for 1/2 Salads then another 10 for pizzas on same table. Waitress was very nice attentive, and apologized and gave us 10% off after some in party 5 commented how long it took ;) OVERALL Visiting as a Sports Bar (Browns fans), expectation exceeded. As a Bistro with $20 meatballs spaghetti at Lunch or Dinner, I'd want to transport myself from that environment to a more refined experience. Not for Date Night or Destination Dining for me but good enough if nearby. 3.5/5* Overall
