The Depot is a classic dive bar in the best way. It's dimly lit, relaxing, and packed with TVs, making it a great spot to catch a game or unwind after a long day. The train car seating area is a standout feature; very cool and vibey, and it gives the place a unique character you don't see often. Service is good, and the food is pretty yummy for typical bar fare. The fried mushrooms and dragon wings are my favorites and are always a solid choice. We have been to The Depot twice now on Ft. Lowell Rd in Tucson, AZ. Many TV's to watch sporting games like March Madness. I have to tell you I thoroughly enjoyed a cold Dos Equis beer after playing golf in 95 degree plus heat. A variety of bar food. I enjoyed my BLT and onion rings. Wings are very good. My wife enjoyed her burger. Service was great from the barmaid. Inside The Depot was attractive since it was remodeled. Pricing was $$ for everything I had. Plenty of parking. Credit cards accepted. It's a nice place to have a sandwich and a beer watching a game. read more

Let's see. This bar/restaurant is awesome. Friendly locals, friendly bartenders so many tv's!! The food is also pretty darn good. I recommend the meatloaf. The spaghetti special is enormous. Like, take 1/2 home for the next day! I hear the NFL pkg will be here next season. This is a good large bar where kids are welcome at the tables. Karaoke is Sat nights at 9 and there is a pool tournament every Wednesday. I personally enjoy the Buzztime trivia that this bar has. This bar skews older at happy hour but around 9 the crowd gets younger. Definitely a day scene here as well. Much better option than Danny's down the street!! Good ole classic sports bar. The walls are lined with TVs that are showing games from all different sports and leagues. In these days of different streaming services and networks, it was great to be able to watch so many different teams play at once. The nice staff and simple menu augment the sports bar feel. I think simplicity is the key with your order as well. I split a burger and steak fingers with a friends and thought the burger was fantastic. Nachos, chicken tenders, and other bar staples all looked great too. On 30 august 2025I visited the depot with several of my fellow service members. While seated at the bar, the owner, who appeared to be intoxicated at approximately 12:30 p.m. approached our group. He directed an inappropriate comment to a woman seated nearby, asking if she felt comfortable with a Black man sitting beside her. He then laughed and patted my friend on the back. When I respectfully confronted him about this remark, both he and another individual assumed a threatening posture and instructed us to leave the premises. read more

Julia took the extra time to really make sure he and I knew exactly he could have because I even ordered something apprently was not acceptable to him. Wonderful place to watch a game, enclosed smoking pool room attached to a full bar and tv/dining area with awesome choice of burgers pizza and a variety of other food and beverage options. Also have daily specials and a nice choice of brews on draft. I had the burger special the night I was there, the half-pounder with fries and toppers for $13, while watching the Duke X Arizona game, the food was awesome, the game, not so much. The upbeat, friendlyness of the staff definitely made up for it. Gotta go back and try the Reuben and/or Corned Beef sandwich at the suggestion of the Kitchen Manager Jenny. myself and a co-worker came in (not our first time) but we had a few happy hour drinks and ordered food. the bar tender (Stacy) was very rude and aggressive and stated that my co-worker was rude and as she was bringing our ticket she crumbled them up and said "I don't have to serve you, you've been rude the entire time" we were dumbfounded, well I was because I didn't have anything to do with that and she crumbled my ticket as well. i promise I won't be returning to this place amd will detour all my co workers, friends, and family from potentially experiencing the same situation again.maybe she was having a bad day but Never Does that justify that type of behavior towards paying customers. read more

Been going here about 2 years, nice local spot..has become a great replacement for Old Chicago. The food is AWESOME..FANTASTIC WEEKLY SPECIALS!! Drinks are strong and cold. 2 bartenders are awesome, the guy bartender is always on point...knows what his customers order and is very personable. Only critique is the music... just recognize your audience...you tend to have a mature crowd.. country, classic, rock light r&b is really the vibe that would push it to 5 STARS! He asked one of the women if she felt comfortable sitting next to a Black man while laughing, all while patting our friend on the back in a demeaning way. We told him his behavior was inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. Instead of addressing it respectfully, he and another individual responded in a threatening manner and ordered us to leave. It's a shame... the mozzarella sticks where very over cooked, the salad wasn't bad, and slow service. But the worst part is of all the TVs they showed the same NFL game on 5 TV's, the rest had one with women basketball game and the others had on Info- commercials with "highlights" of the other NFL games.. I love this place for a few reasons. First....there are portable speakers you can take to your table, and tune into one of about 30 TV's around the bar area to hear whatever FOOTBALL game you are watching. Each TV has a number, just tune in the TV number on the speaker....POOF! The service was amazing!! Really , the servers bust their butts. Tip them well please. They have a nice selection of draft and bottled beer, and a pretty decent variety of food. Our jalapeño poppers were FRESH and perfectly spiced. The burger my friend got was so juicy and well flavored...it was excellent. The chicken sliders were tasty as well, and came with AMPLE fries! The amount of food you get is outrageous! Fries and tater tots for days!! lol. One negative. Non smokers have to walk THROUGH the smoking area to get into the bar. It reeks (to non smokers).....so perhaps a separate area away from....the DOOR? I am so glad this place has Sunday NFL ticket, and has so many TV's. We stopped in this evening after a long day of driving. Great place! Food was perfect. We shared the safety (Buffalo hot) and 5-alarm (hottest) wings served with coleslaw and fries. They were out of boneless but gave us tenders dipped in wing sauce. Extremely flexible to offer tenders when they had no boneless. Gyro with cottage cheese was great too! Covid protocols were followed and waiter Jonah was super attentive. We couldn't ask for a better waiter! We were so happy to find a place that allows dine in so we could enjoy NFL. Came to celebrate a coworkers birthday, I've pasted this bar on many occasions & never stopped in I'm so glad she choose this spot I truly enjoyed myself! I ordered the pastrami sandwich with tater tots and it was delicious it came full of flavor including bacon yum!!! On a nicely toasted sub roll with plenty of mayo, lettuce & tomatoes. Our group sang plenty of karaoke songs by which there were tons to select from there was fun had by all! I'd recommend this bar to anyone in the mood for a good time! read more

Convenient spot for watching multiple games at once! They keep little mics for volume on the table so you can hear the respected game you are watching. Table setup is somewhat community style so if it's a big game expect to sit close to new Friends :) I had their wings yesterday and I felt they're average. Good food and drinks, with a big spacious bar to walk around, TVs everywhere, sports memorabilia. Friendly servers and Bartenders as well as the patrons some of the patrons bought rounds of shots for people. The bartenders Jonah and Jules both made me shots Jonah made a fruit loop with a sugar rim and Jules bad a peach whiskey drink both were above the standard in flavor and taste would highly recommend if looking to expand ones pallet for different drinks and flavors. read more

This review is based on my last visit during a Saturday afternoon. This visit was better than my previous visits because of the great server we had. I've heard from friends and experienced non ideal service in previous visits. This visit our server was great. We arrived on a Saturday to watch college football. We stopped in while in a hurry to grab a bite at one of my honey's old watering holes. The place was dead as it was still just mid afternoon. After a while we wondered what was going on as we had ordered a Reuben sandwich about 25 mins earlier. Upon asking, the bartender who had been super sweet went to see what was going on. The cook herself came out and apologized profusely saying she had accidentally closed the ticket. We explained we were in a hurry but would still like it to go. She comped the meal and sent us away with two to go boxes as we had originally told the bartender we planned to share the meal. Way above & beyond what anyone would typically do in that situation AND the sandwich was hands down the best Reuben we'd ever had. Has to be one of my favorite bars in Tucson. Honest to god great bar food and the service is amazing. Jonah the bartender is amazing and makes you feel like family. They have Karaoke night and some of the best pool tables in Tucson. This is an absolute must in Tucson. Great local bar and everyone is fun and respectful. Customer service is everything and this place has it. I've come here with my family, my friends and even my colleagues. Check it out. This place is great: lots of TVs, great servers, food is good (better than average for a sports bar), and they have a popular karaoke show on Fridays and Saturdays. Newer bars these days seem to have bigger selections on their beer taps and the food could be better; it's for these reasons they don't get 5 stars, but this is my go to spot when I want to meet friends centrally for karaoke. This is a tough one. Good- food, service. Average- prices, beer selection. Bad- this place caters to smokers. You can't enter the bar without walking through a cloud of smoke. The front patio has smokers right in front of the door even though the law clearly states they need to be 25 feet away. Awful- they have a pool tourney on wednesdays. As a pool player I was happy to find a tourney while in town. That is until I arrived. The tables are basically outside. There was just a thunderstorm so the swamp coolers weren't doing it. So the tourney was help is a 90 degree, 95% humidity, smoke filled patio. Will never return. read more

My friends and I had fun at their karaoke night. I wished they had more song options. They're nachos were okay, nothing spectacular but bar food generally isn't. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The fellow guests were definitely enjoying themselves. This is a Old Stable in Tucson always clean and always friendly service. All I know is they have really Good Spaghetti with lots of thick meat sauce and you get a yummy salad and bread for amazing price. They also have great Hamburgers and Sandwiches. The youthful days of hanging out in a pool hall have long passed and I'm not a patron of sports bars, being a teetotaler, but somehow my curiosity lead me to the Depot today and it was quite enjoyable. I was drawn by the train car exterior and was amazed at the sight of so many sports fans enjoying Sunday morning football on all the large screen TVs running wall-to-wall. The food and sodas came in servings big enough for a lumberjack. I had the Birdie, which was a Club, and it was super tasty and came with homemade potato salad. My partner ordered the "Toledo Walleye", which was actually battered surimi. She pronounced it "quite good." The French fries side order was excellent. We regretted not ordering the fresh potato chips. It'd be a fun place to return with friends to watch a big sporting event, like when the Wildcats play Oregon! read more
