I asked if she could make me something that didn't taste at all like alcohol and she stepped right up to make it happen! I like fruity stuff and the drink she pulled together fit the bill. I also had a Jell-O shot and a bag of Fritos. There's a (modern-day version of a) jukebox as well as an old phone booth in the corner which for whatever reason gave me great joy to see. There are also two pool tables. It's a small place so when it gets crowded I'm sure it's packed. We showed up at 5 p.m. on a Saturday night so it was still lightly attended which worked great for us to just hang out, drink, and chat.
