One of the many interesting sayings decorating the ceiling.

Cheap beers and a cozy vibe. What more do you need from a dive bar? This seems like a good place to hunker down for an afternoon or evening of relaxing and having a drink or two or....

I don't know who they are, but that's the damn giant chair and obviously the booze works, look at those smiles.

I dig this place quite a bit. I spent last winter in Tucson mostly and most of last winter in the Bay Horse... ;{) The Staff rules, super nice, heavy pourers and all beautiful. The jukebox is worth a sh*t, It's got Sabbath, ZZ Top, Judas Priest, Uriah Heap, Master of Puppets and even some Black Flag... You really can't go wrong there. Pool tables and foosball... Frozen pizza and peanuts... A sweet smoking porch and some of the nicest and funniest bar fly buddies you could ever ask for! (Hiya Marco!) Oh yeah, also a giant f*cking chair. Why I don't know but it's huge. Sit in it. Do a shot. Be happy.

The servers are awful and so rude. They don't even try to be nice and they say discriminatory things don't go here.

Solid, old school bar. Great bartender. Fun watching Jeopardy with the regulars! No frills, no fuss.

Best place in Tucson! The staff and all the other regulars are like family. Can't beat the price of their beers, and there's food!

The fact that they serve Coors Banquet on tap is what drew me to The Buffet! We walked into The Buffet and sat at the bar, which was extremely busy, but the vibe was full of energy. The bartender was absolutely awesome and made my wife an excellent mixed drink. I ordered Coors Banquet from the tap, oh what a joy! Spoke to some regulars of the bar and had great conversations about this place. I learned that The Buffet is the oldest bar in Tucson and the largest vendor of Coors. Very friendly people in a quintessential "dive bar". Lots of character decorate the walls. The prices for drinks at The Buffet are extremely affordable. A night out here won't break the bank. I could easily become a regular at this place (if I didn't live so far away). I definitely will return when when I'm in the area again. My visit here was well worth my time. This is a great place to slow down and enjoy the Iron Horse District of Tucson. As a side note, in reading about this bar, I was led to believe that it was cash only. That is not true, they now take cards.

It ain't pretty.... When you walk through the front door, you're greeted by the scents of stale cigarette smoke and Fabuloso. The decor is something out of the mid 60's. It's a very fun, unpretentious place. Good service, fun drinks and a great escape from our crazy world. Check it out!

It's kitsch and offbeat, maybe even offputting if you think too hard about the legacy of that family, but it's anything but boring. What I love: They're big on doing their own infusions. You absolutely must try Pam's Spicy Lemonade--Hornitos with thai chili and mint. I've also had coffee-infused liquors here before that you'll rarely find anywhere else. I'm not a smoker, but I get stoked for their enclosed smoking patio with a couple old arcade cabinets (I like Centipede!) What I like: There are like, really cheap simple cocktails with the creativity to make some unappealing, bottom shelf liquors taste palatable. Those aren't my usuals, but I'm always intrigued. I will shamelessly have a couple $3 High Lifes. There's only one big bar in the center of the lobby, but service is generally fast. It's dimly lit and can be tightly packed, but you'll still have fun. Good for date night or groups of four or less. No food, but once in a blue moon you'll find a truck parked out front. Overall, a solid Tucson staple.

Everything is made differently with less flavor and finesse. The lettuce wraps used to be standout now they're dry and under seasoned. It's also presented differently which made for an awkward dining experience. I remember being blown away by the katsu chicken sandwhich the first time. This time it was gross. It was not fried like katsu but more so like a battered chicken breast. It always was not pounded flat into a uniform piece of meat but was more so a badly butchered breast that fell apart when you ate it. It was dry, under seasoned, fried way too hard and was stringy. I'd come for drinks and completely pass on the food all together. Not worth the high price tag associated with it. Karaoke DJ was stellar!!!!! Kept the party going and was so fun!!!!!

The whole vibe is awesome - they even have a submarine room. My guy had a Painkiller and it was delicious. My faves were the coco nido wings (wings with coconut rum glaze), the Stoner fried rice, and the ahi wonton tacos (cucumber, jalapeno, soy ginger, Chubasco aioli, wasabi peas). For my drink, I ordered the Fogcutter (vintage favorite combines a blend of light rum, cognac, gin, orgeat, fresh orange and lemon juice, and is finished with a port float), refreshing and not too sweet. Half the people in our party had just arrived to town so it was the perfect, festive yet low key, speakeasy setting for our party. I got a lot of in-law family points picking this place. This was my 2nd here and both times have been super fun. Thank you, Cabali, for a memorable family occasion!
