What can I say, this place is the antithesis of a Dive Bar. I came here for a quick drink while waiting on takeout nextdoor. I recently moved to this neighborhood and wanted to get a feel of the neighborhood bar. Bartender super sweet! She offered me appetizers that consisted of Chex Mix in a plastic bowel. No complaints! Sparse bar with a couple of pool tables and a Juke Box. I think I will go back for more of a feel. I would recommend if you happen to live in the neighborhood because the pickings are slim. It was a cool spot and reminiscent of the 90's.

My new favorite bar!

They're a pretty good-sized place with lots of bar and table seating, and even some outdoor patio seating. They also have two pool tables. The parking lot is good size. The atmosphere is welcoming and we found the staff (particularly Amanda) to be attentive and quite friendly. We sat at the bar. They said they were slower than usual for a Sunday, but we did go on Easter Sunday. My wife ordered the chicken wings. She likes her wings extra crispy, so she ordered her 2 sauces (garlic parmesan, and pineapple habanero) on the side. The wings were very crispy and cooked perfectly. The garlic parmesan sauce was great as was the pineapple habanero sauce, which was pretty darn hot! I ordered their award-winning Cuban burger (with ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese and pickles). It was a bit messy but definitely delicious. I got onion rings as my side instead of fries. They were excellent and I could tell right away they were made fresh in-house. We also ordered some tater tots to share, which were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I'm a craft beer lover so it was nice to see that, in addition to their domestic taps (Bud, Ultra, Dos Equis, etc.) that they also had a few craft cans to offer. We both opted for a Sierra Nevada Atomic Torpedo Double IPA and also each had a shot (or two) of Jim Beam Bourbon). We had a great time and are so happy we finally made it out to try them. Even after just one visit, they're already one of our favorite bars/saloons in the Tucson area. We will definitely be back.

The fact that they serve Coors Banquet on tap is what drew me to The Buffet! We walked into The Buffet and sat at the bar, which was extremely busy, but the vibe was full of energy. The bartender was absolutely awesome and made my wife an excellent mixed drink. I ordered Coors Banquet from the tap, oh what a joy! Spoke to some regulars of the bar and had great conversations about this place. I learned that The Buffet is the oldest bar in Tucson and the largest vendor of Coors. Very friendly people in a quintessential "dive bar". Lots of character decorate the walls. The prices for drinks at The Buffet are extremely affordable. A night out here won't break the bank. I could easily become a regular at this place (if I didn't live so far away). I definitely will return when when I'm in the area again. My visit here was well worth my time. This is a great place to slow down and enjoy the Iron Horse District of Tucson. As a side note, in reading about this bar, I was led to believe that it was cash only. That is not true, they now take cards.

It ain't pretty.... When you walk through the front door, you're greeted by the scents of stale cigarette smoke and Fabuloso. The decor is something out of the mid 60's. It's a very fun, unpretentious place. Good service, fun drinks and a great escape from our crazy world. Check it out!

It's kitsch and offbeat, maybe even offputting if you think too hard about the legacy of that family, but it's anything but boring. What I love: They're big on doing their own infusions. You absolutely must try Pam's Spicy Lemonade--Hornitos with thai chili and mint. I've also had coffee-infused liquors here before that you'll rarely find anywhere else. I'm not a smoker, but I get stoked for their enclosed smoking patio with a couple old arcade cabinets (I like Centipede!) What I like: There are like, really cheap simple cocktails with the creativity to make some unappealing, bottom shelf liquors taste palatable. Those aren't my usuals, but I'm always intrigued. I will shamelessly have a couple $3 High Lifes. There's only one big bar in the center of the lobby, but service is generally fast. It's dimly lit and can be tightly packed, but you'll still have fun. Good for date night or groups of four or less. No food, but once in a blue moon you'll find a truck parked out front. Overall, a solid Tucson staple.

My faves were the coco nido wings (wings with coconut rum glaze), the Stoner fried rice, and the ahi wonton tacos (cucumber, jalapeno, soy ginger, Chubasco aioli, wasabi peas). For my drink, I ordered the Fogcutter (vintage favorite combines a blend of light rum, cognac, gin, orgeat, fresh orange and lemon juice, and is finished with a port float), refreshing and not too sweet. Half the people in our party had just arrived to town so it was the perfect, festive yet low key, speakeasy setting for our party. I got a lot of in-law family points picking this place. This was my 2nd here and both times have been super fun. Thank you, Cabali, for a memorable family occasion!
