So after contemplating whether or not to try planet subs I finally tried it on December 20th 2023 I got the turkey sandwich and barbecue chips and a Coke zero the prices were affordable the portions were great it's just that the bread didn't have much flavor and neither did the turkey meat or the rest of the sandwich I would come back again only to try something different hopefully getting much better results stay tuned for upcoming reviews on the next time I'm feeling brave

Great food - great people! The owners, husband & wife, we're enjoying lunch together as I walked in. They were kind and inviting, she bakes all the bread and had the sub out so quickly! This sandwich is soooooo good - fresh - warm! They even directed me where to find some great toys for my kiddos as I drove through Tucson! So grateful that I stopped here for lunch... and even got to experience community

Stopped in while getting tires at Wal-Mart, easy walk across parking lot. Warm Welcome as soon as we entered, followed by some baseball talk which is always welcomed (I had on NATS WS Shirt). Ordered the "Experience" (1/2) and Wife ordered "Superhero" 1/2 Combo. I did a water & was given a full size cup which is always nice. My Sandwich was delicious, never had anything like it so it was an Experience, a good one !!! Bread was toasted just right and the sandwich flavor was different in a good way. Definitely enjoyed it. Between the sandwich & sharing my wife's chips was full, and still capable of moving-LOL. I had a couple bites of my wife and hers was also delicious. Bathrooms were immaculate, and the seating area was spacious and also very clean We were asked several times how was everything, and our trash was even removed as we sat & talked. While sitting there listened to the banter between customers & staff which was nice to see the relationship, seemed like Cheers. Will be back !!!

Very fresh and delicious subs! They make the bread fresh daily and you can see it being made in the background. Very nice dine in sports themed place. The subs are huge for a good price. They los the ingredients and meat. I wasn't expecting much but was really surprised on my first bite. If you're in the mood for a good quality sub, i recommend to come here for a taste above.

I've been here twice now and I give it 5 stars! I've only had "the experience" and it is so so good. If you are in the Tucson Marketplace area I encourage you to go!!! Apparently they make their dough from scratch! They have one of those Coke Machines where you can choose from like 100 different drinks! It's a nice little place and the cashiers have only ever been professional when I've gone!

We had a sweet young lady take our order. We explained it was our first time here and she welcomed us and explained the menu. I got the Experience and my boyfriend got the Super Hero. Both sandwiches AMAZING. The Super Hero has a ton of meat! The EXPERIENCE was an EXPERIENCE, an excellent experience. The chicken was cold, however the put it in the toaster to fix it. The owner actually came to apologize and gave me a gift card to come back. Even with this very small error it was a fantastic experience and I'm definitely coming back. Quality ingredients and great staff!! Definitely get a 6 inch unless you are starving. It's a ton of food.

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

It is a nice setup if you are with a group and everyone wants something different. I ordered the Butcher Burger and it was really good. The burger itself was massive and cooked well. The bun was a little oversized for the burger, but honestly it did not take away from it. I only made it through about half before I was full. The fries were awesome. Crispy, well seasoned, and a perfect side to go with the burger. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes you get. This place is located in an artsy / entertainment district close to downtown. When we went, there was road construction nearby that made getting here more challenging. Once we located it, the next challenge was parking. We visited around noon on a Saturday. There are no large parking lots, so you have to find something on-street. We ventured a couple of blocks off the main street and found something. However, the signage wasn't really clear on whether you had to pay on weekends or not. We accessed the parking app via a QR code, but it told us that our space 'was not available', despite the fact that we were in the space. A guy leaving the space next to us confirmed that parking *was* free on weekends, so we trusted that and walked to the restaurant. In retrospect, I think the app meant that we did not need to pay, but 'not available' seems a bit vague for that... The restaurant is located on a strip of old storefronts that now house restaurants, record shops, etc. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic out front, including a homeless guy asking for change. The atmosphere was sort of a loud, slightly cramped dive bar. I don't mean that in a bad way, but that was the vibe. The music was loud - none of it was familiar but I didn't hate it. I guess my point is that if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, this is probably not it. We initially were offered a table on their covered patio. We left one person there while sorting out parking, but when we came back they had a booth inside so we grabbed that instead. The patio seemed shaded and semi-comfortable, other than a loud barking dog. We browsed the menus and ordered our food. We all got half-and-half combos (soup/salad or sandwich/soup). The only issue was that the soups came in a bread bowl. I was able to finish my soup, but felt bad about not eating more of the bowl. If I'd had the option, I would have gotten a plastic bowl. The salad was pretty big, despite being only half. I finished most of it. We ended up having sufficient leftovers from others such that we took them back to our hotel (a relatively short drive) and finished them the next evening. All the food was tasty. This wasn't what I was expecting, but I'd consider eating here again given the right circumstances / group.

My partner is a passionate "foodie" who has been a successful food writer/blogger in LA and other cities throughout his career. We have been to so many amazing restaurants in Tucson as well as LA, Phoenix and Chicago. On Thursday, my partner tried to make a dinner reservation for Friday on their website and it was not working, so he called the restaurant and spoke to someone who said they did not have 5:30, but they had a 5:00 open, so we took that. He told her that he tried the website but it wasn't working and she said "that happens all the time". When we arrived on Friday at 5:00, the woman said she didn't see a reservation for us. My partner said that he called the day before and made the reservation, she was very rude, saying they were booked and she did not see a reservation for the 2 of us. My partner reiterated that he called Thursday (he's quite sure that he actually spoke with her) she said she'd try to get us a table, but we needed to be done by 6:30. She instructed someone else to seat us. Within minutes, someone approached our table and introduced himself as the owner and said very loudly and aggressively, so customers could hear "if you ever talk to one of my employees like that again, swearing and using foul language, you'll be banned from the restaurant!" I calmly said to him "he was not rude to her, he absolutely did not swear or use foul language, he does NOT do that." A good manager who cares about his customers would have handled this differently- "good evening. I understand you had issues making a reservation, tell me about that". We have been to so many amazing restaurants in Tucson, no need to patronize a place where the owner treats customers so poorly. We left and went to a very popular restaurant. The place was packed, yet we saw the owner who greeted us and asked if we had a reservation, we said "no". He said "that's ok, I'll get you a table". We had a great experience.
