First time at this location. Dropped in for a late (2p) lunch and had the place to myself (plus some takeout / doordash). Staff were all super friendly, engaging. When I grab a JM sub I always get "extra meat." That's 50% more for a couple of bucks extra. That is different than "double meat" which is also an option. Given how friendly the guys were I tried something different - half chicken half steak! They laughed and said normally it's not possible because of how the meats are inventoried which I totally get but then they said, let's try it! I got all the protein, half the red meat and all the flavor of some steak in my extra stuffed cheesesteak sub. Word to the wise, I really dislike their gooey cheese that normally comes with their hot subs but I always swap it for sliced swiss (no charge swap) and it makes a huge difference. I also usually add jalapenos "on the grill" and they add just the right amount of kick. Well done guys! read more

First I want to say I have been a fan of JERSEY MIKES at the Cortaro location for years. I am from NJ, grew up in the Jersey shore. I know good SUBS! The newer location on Thornydale has been awful! The past 2 orders I got were terrible. First, the Thornydale, Grubhub delivery I got was the wrong order. NOT GRUBHUBs fault! Jersey Mikes gave them the wrong order. My name on the slip but not my sandwhich. There were 2 subs--entirely wrong order. I ordered 1 roast beef sub. Through "app chat" I got my money back. These 2 subs were awful sloppy oversauced nightmare! So full of mayo, sauce, the bread was wet! Ok, I tried again. This time I went there to get a sub to go. Same awfully made sub! Sloppy, wet, nightmare. As if I said " TONS OF MAYO AND SAUCE". And they did not add bacon as I requested! I was already home or would have returned it. No excuse, they were not busy, one other person inthe shop. Totally distracted server. I took pic to prove it. What the heck are they doing?? I plan to go back to Cortaro location to see my experience there. I intend to watch the entire process and tell them if they screw up. There are no other good sub options in NW Tucson. read more

My boyfriend and I got the big kahuna cheese steak and it was delicious. I asked for extra chipotle mayo and the girl added the perfect amount. I unfortunately don't know her name, but she had French braids and blond hair. She was super nice and even wrote which one had chipotle on it to make it easier for us. Bad service, bad management, and cleanliness are poor. An employee named Hayden is very rude and disrespectful. I caught him using the bathroom and not washing his hands before making sandwiches. I confronted him, and he lied. He yells at employees in front of customers as well. The store is very dirty, with dust everywhere, and the bathrooms have toilet paper on the floor. read more

I have been going out to lunch 4-days a week for the past few years. After trying many different fast food restaurants, I have found Jersey Mike's to be the best. I have gone exclusively to them for the last year. There are several locations in Tucson that I have gone to, however, the Thornydale location is the most friendly, as well as the cleanest. Their sandwiches always seem to be the thickest, and the manager, McKenzie, is by far the best manager I have ever met. Definitely good sandwiches! Good service and good atmosphere. Well made in front of your eyes. The only downside here I think is the price. Its definitely more quality than the other big chain sub shops and if a little higher price is the only difference between those, I'm willing to pay it. About once a week my family craves a deli sandwich and after my sister recommended Jersey Mike's I tried it and have never gone back to any other sandwich place. The meat and cheese is freshly shaved right in front of you and the ingredients are so fresh! This results in the juiciest, fattest subs you could ever hope for. They are actually very much like the online company Golden Belly's subs which cost a small fortune compared. Our favorite sandwich we found to be the Italian sub that has an indulgent collection of cold cuts, all the Italian deli meats and when combined with the perfect dose of oil and vinegar seasonings, this is truly a feast. Above all the associates here have been consistently amazing, they have such a positive, happy attitude and really take care of you. On my last visit I was assisted by Mackenzie and Abbie, both super sweet people that showed superb customer service. I haven't had a remotely negative experience, it always top-notch! I'm just sad I didn't know about Jersey Mike's sooner:). read more

I have been enjoying Jersey Mikes since they opened up in the Arizona pavilion a number of years ago. They are a success at this store was an excellent manager named Adam. Unfortunately, he is not there any longer. I have the distinct pleasure of having been to the original Jersey Mikes on the Jersey shore, my mother and I used to enjoy going to the deli after our swim in the ocean. I've been asked whether or not the new Jersey Mikes is as good as the original and of course the answer is no the original is always better, but I go to Jersey Mikes at least three times a week and the staff is very nice friendly and very efficient. This rating needs to have a ZERO on it. Extremely overpriced, stale bread, sub-par ingredients, and horrible experience with their extremely rude manager, Luz! They made our sub incorrectly and included ingredients that could have killed the person eating it due to allergies. We specifically asked for those ingredients to be left off the sandwich, but they made it wrong anyway. When we received the subs, we called immediately to see if we could get another one but was told that their manager, Luz, was not in the store and he couldn't do anything about it that night. Ridiculous, right? What store doesn't want to make it right for their customer? He told us that she would call us the next day. Ok, so I'm thinking that I guess she'll give us a refund because they are not willing to make another sandwich tonight. The guy promised that she would call me the next morning. When no such phone call arrived. I called the store and asked for a refund. Luz rudely refused to refund our money, stating that they didn't get the modifications. That statement is so BS. why would I order a sub with ingredients that could send me to the hospital? Don't waste your money, time, or taste buds on this place. Okay I came here tonight, I tried calling 3 times before I got here so I could place my order ahead of time and nobody would pick up. I get here and it's dead, the girl is just sitting there doing nothing, I think maybe on her phone I can't remember. But didn't say a word to me when I walked in, she's obviously in a bad mood or high, Idek, but girl had a problem. So I order and she says it's going to take 10 mins to make bacon and asked if I still wanted it... Yes? if she got off her cell phone and answered the store phone earlier, it wouldn't have been a problem. But as I'm waiting another lady walks in and starts ordering her sandwich, she asks the girl for more of something and she was of course bitchy about it and the lady all together, halfway through the sandwich, said "never mind I don't want anything" and walked out. So I know I'm not the only one who thinks this girls was being bitchy. But then I get my food. Literally pathetic like the smallest portions of everything I have ever seen.
