I'm updating my review to 5 stars. Ever since, I have been back to this place several times now and every sandwich I have had has been delicious. It's honestly hard to pick a favorite because they are all so good. The drinks are also good, large, and well priced. I especially like that the refreshers aren't overly sweet which makes them very drinkable. Another thing they do notably well is the service. Was looking on Yelp for a quick place to grab dinner on the way home and decided to try Banhdicted -- so glad I did! I ordered through the Grubhub app for pickup, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. When I arrived, the staff member was super friendly and let me know he was just finishing up the sandwiches. He also mentioned that if I plan on coming back (which I probably will!), I should download their app. He even gave me a helpful tip: if you have a long drive home, you can ask for the vegetables and sauce on the side so everything stays fresh. Really appreciated that advice. Got home and the sandwiches were delicious -- super fresh and really flavorful. Nice sandwich shop on the corner with plenty of free easy parking. There are a variety of products from smoothies to Tea, sandwiches to soups, salads. A one stop shop for lunch or snack needs. After eating so much Southwestern, Sonoran, and New Mexican food, I was craving something familiar from home. I came across this bánh mì spot in an Asian plaza, and saw that Banhdicted is Vietnamese-owned, so I figured it would be a safe bet. The service was friendly, but the menu felt very Americanized. We ordered the AZ Special (đặc biệt), Chicken (gà), and BBQ Pork (thịt nướng). Since we ordered to-go, we asked for the pickled veggies and accoutrements on the side so the bánh mì wouldn't get soggy. They currently don't sell their Lemongrass Beef (bò nướng) due to rising costs. While waiting for our sandwiches, we went next door to the supermarket. I personally wanted softer bread since I'm still healing from wisdom teeth removal, but I can see why my siblings didn't enjoy it. The bread was soft, but it didn't have the right texture or consistency of a traditional Vietnamese bánh mì. There was also no pâté or mayo spread, which is my favorite part of a bánh mì. Even the pickled daikon and carrot (đồ chua) weren't cut quite right. They were a bit chunky, and some of the carrots were round. I had the AZ Special (đặc biệt), and the portion of meat felt very small. It only came with one type of cold cut, which was disappointing. The BBQ pork (thịt nướng) also lacked flavor overall. Taylor and Lexi took care of my order and made it fresh in front of me. They were so kind and amiable answering all my questions, I really appreciated how they treated me!!! I ordered the bbq pork banh mi sandwich and biting into it I was expecting the bread to be hard! It was immediately so soft and crispy and honestly, I think the bread was just my favorite thing aside from the fresh vegetables! I really wanted to get a lemongrass beef sandwich, but they no longer have that on the menu. I guess I'll have to make my own. They do have a premade fish sauce (bottle) that you can have on the side, but I found it to be very salty. I also ordered a large Vietnamese coffee, which was really good and strong! This is one of my favorite places for lunch. I always take it to go but there is some seating inside and I usually find people sitting and talking which is always good. My go to order is the Pork Banh-mi no pate & add sriracha on everythang. Paired with a lovely Thai tea it's just the perfect combo. The first time, I made a mistake of not reading the description and I got something that was too spicy so I didn't want to leave a review based on that experience. I just took my first bite of a sandwich here and stopped to write a review. It's that good! I understand why they call themselves Banhdicted. I'm not big on mayo or jalapenos, so I left those off of my barbecue pork sandwich. I also asked for extra toasted. The young man serving me was very accommodating and friendly. Why am I raving about this sandwich? Bursting with flavor is a cliche but fits this sandwich well. It was overflowing with really fresh tasting pickled vegetables and had tons of fresh cilantro on top. Since I love cilantro, that hooked me right away. I don't think I mentioned the bread yet. It's what sub bread should be. I've been unable to find bread like this in a sandwich since I lived in Florida 30 years ago and got fabulous subs from Italian transplants there from the northeast. It's soft and tender inside and has just the right amount of wonderful crunch on the outside. Not tough at all, like so many breads these days. And it's served warm. So nice. There are just a few sandwich options available but that's ok. I already found my favorite. There is a tofu option however all the other sandwiches, between the mayo and pork belly and ham and pate spread, appear to have a high fat content. The BBQ pork is probably healthiest. But hey, isn't worth a splurge now and then when something is this tasty? I think so! read more

Wife and I just got back to the states after being living in South Korea for a few years. And found this awesome spot! We ordered the Banh Mi (Bo Nuong) lemongrass beef? And the large Vietnamese coffee. I appreciate and love how the baguette has a nice crunch on the outside but not too crunchy where it cuts the top of your mouth. And the inside of the baguette was soft. The meat was well seasoned and the flavors were well blended along with the veggies in it. The coffee is really strong, but also smooth that it's not bitter.
