I went to this location today around 1 o'clock to find they didn't have any sodas except for Diet Pepsi. They weren't sure if they had water due to not receiving supplies for the store. Every year the tradition is the same a week before Christmas we meet together and make tamales. I don't know if you've ever made tamales before but it's quite a messy experience. So much fun is had cracking jokes and making a mess and teaching each other the right way to do it. This Is our thing making tamales and eating Krispy Kreme. I pre- ordered online 2 dozen donuts today for my Grandson's Birthday party, my order said pick up time would be 4:40 pm today. I was late running last minute Birthday pick ups and arrived at 5:10 pm and my order was never put together. The young man was looking and asking around if anyone put the order together and they all said no. He was having trouble with the machine the paper was jamed. So he had to call the manager. If I could do a negative stars review I would. Talk about being unprepared for a very busy day when you're doing a promotion. I decided to order online to avoid the long lines and just pick up my order but when I arrived there is no online order pickup line and the employees where just ignoring the fact there was a line of people trying to just pick up their order. Waiting an hour to pick up an online order when your order is supposed to be ready by 4:40+ and not getting your order till almost 6pm is ridiculous. I had came to this location a few times and everything was fine. My last visit was not as I expected. I came about 40 minutes to closing, and I was immediately greeted by an employee who seemed to been having a bad day. She started off with "what do you want" and it was just a bit harsh. A great way to end my birthday celebration night with my friends. After eating at a all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse nearby, we stopped by this Krispy Kreme for some donuts and coffee. They have a big parking lot so finding parking wouldn't be a problem. When we walked in, we were the only one there. So I got 1 chocolate gaze donut and a hot chocolate. My friends got their coffee and a donut as well. They only had 1 lady working the counter so she made all our drinks. People started coming in and it took the lady a while to make all our drinks but due to the whole situation, you have to be understanding with places being short staff. No pre order needed. I arrived around 6:30am & was greeted with a smile & a good morning & I was given a hot fresh glazed donut right away. Laura served me & she was so sweet- the gal that helped me over the phone wore glasses, I really appreciate morning people even if they are faking it, it goes a long way. I asked for 12 hats because the donuts were for my students & I was happily given the hats & a small discount for being an educator.
