If you know me, this is my favorite doughnuts. Because it's St. Patty's day, they are offering their special green original Glazed doughnuts for a whopping $12 for 12 green original glazed doughnuts. However they did sell out but our girl Angie who was helping us quickly informed us of their substitutions. So we went with 4 Chocolate icing green doughnut, 4 of the green sugar doughnut and 4 of the original glazed doughnuts. It was still worth it for the $12 dozen. Second time the "hot donuts now" light was on and got cold donuts. Ordered three hot donuts, server didn't ask for my number for rewards, donuts were served in a supermarket-style container, like it was pulled out of the trash, not even a box with a closure. Just a disappointment. Hot donuts are a nice treat when they are hot. If hot donuts are not available, okay, turn the light off and no one's time is wasted. The server seemed okay, just sensed no desire to correct issues or provide basic customer service. Hard to tell if it's t's the server or the management. Time to find a new treat. :( read more

I came here strictly for a maple iced glaze donut and of course they didn't have it. Smh I ended up ordering 2 glaze, 1 chocolate glaze, 2 raspberry filled and another donut. I'm in the drive thru, I pay like $17 and some change. Not worth the price but whatever. I pull over to eat my donuts only to find they gave me the wrong donuts. I go inside and explain to them that they took my order incorrectly and the worker wanted to argue. Anywho "Raspberry" doesn't sound like "chocolate" so idk how she got that mixed up. The original glazed and chocolate covered donuts were both delicious! Light, fresh, sweet and everything you love about Krispy Kreme treats. The apple cinnamon donut was a bit of a letdown. The cinnamon coating on the outside was tasty, and the donut itself was good but there was barely any apple filling. I would guess 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoons max. I recently got a reward for a free Chocomania doughnut with any purchase. What's a Chocomania doughnut, you might ask? All you have to know is that it contains Hershey's chocolate. There are four different Chocomania flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie Doughnut, Chocolate Buttercreme Doughnut, Classic Chocolate Doughnut, and the Chocolate Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut. I'm a member of Krispy Kreme Rewards, and per their terms and conditions, points expire after a full year of inactivity, which means if you didn't make a purchase within the past 365 days, you forfeit all your points, even if you had enough for a reward. My last purchase was in May 2024, so I needed to make a purchase in order to keep my points active. Plus, I also had a deal this month where my first purchase of the month would count for double points; this is an anniversary offer since this month was the month when I joined Krispy Kreme Rewards. I arrived at about 3 PM on a Sunday afternoon, and the "Hot Now" light wasn't on, signifying there weren't any hot doughnuts available. This was also evident when I stepped inside, and I didn't see a single doughnut on the assembly line. They could have made more doughnuts an hour before my arrival or two hours after I left, but I can't be certain about that. For the free Chocomania doughnut, I got the Chocolate Salted Caramel Cheesecake. It's filled with caramel cheesecake cream and covered with chocolate icing on top. One half of the donut is topped with chocolate cookie crumbs while the other half is topped with a salted caramel drizzle. For my any purchase, I went with a Plain Iced Coffee. They have other flavored coffees like Vanilla, Caramel, and Original Glazed, but I can't fathom how much added sugar that would be on top of the Chocolate Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut, hence why I chose Plain. The menu behind the order counter only lists the price for a Medium-sized drink even though Krispy Kreme also offers Large. I asked Todd, the employee who assisted me on this visit, and he mentioned it was 20 cents more for Large. I forgot to ask how much larger a Large was compared to a Medium or to at least see the empty cups, but a two dime upcharge sounded like the better buy. I pulled up my member barcode on my phone, but had a hard time determining where to position and angle my phone for the register to scan my barcode. Luckily, it didn't take that long, but it did take Todd a minute or two to prepare my iced coffee after I got a receipt that was about as long as one you'd get from CVS Pharmacy; oddly enough, one of Todd's co-workers made the same joke lol. I sat at the table closest to the counter that had the coffee stirrers, napkins, and trash bin. That table did have some crumbs on it, but they weren't too bad, and I wasn't going to be there that long. The Chocolate Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut was quite good, but not exactly the best as the flavor seemed muted compared to how the doughnut appeared online. The chocolate wasn't very chocolate-y, and the cream inside wasn't very creamy. It wasn't a bad choice for my free Chocomania doughnut, but I wouldn't pay $3.19 to try it a second time. The Plain Iced Coffee was just your ordinary iced coffee without any flavor. Actually, Todd did offer me some Dairy Pure Half & Half for my coffee, but I only wanted one. The iced coffee did its job of giving me the energy to get me through my afternoon adventure that day. Maybe too good of a job because I had trouble sleeping that evening, though it's also because I wasn't in a good mood during my visit. I do, however, believe Todd added too much ice, though it's probably the standard amount for Krispy Kreme. Todd provided pretty good service as he approached me as soon as I made my way to the front counter, assisting me every step of the way. Great employee and very courteous! He did seem a little skeptical when I said I wanted the plain coffee, possibly wondering why I didn't want a flavor, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with how stellar his service was otherwise. Still a solid Krispy Kreme location overall. So far, all my visits here have been better than my one visit to the Gardena location, where I made my last Krispy Kreme purchase. My wife and I are originally from the Carolinas and have been eating Krispy Kreme ever since we were toddlers. We eaten them in South & North Carolina, state of Texas, Irvine, etc. I want to say this first and foremost, Bryan & Laura both exceptional, friendly and pleasant; but if I am being completely honest the donuts were "AWFUL" tasting. Ahhh, a piece of home. I'm from North Carolina which is the birth place of Krispy Kreme donuts. This place has been around since the beginning of time because who doesn't like them? This is a good location with its own private parking. I'll skip to the good stuff Now, I'm not a huge fan of regular glazed donuts. And that seems to be their specialty They have been putting out limited edition ones that have got me hooked (Barbie, ghost busters, a Scooby doo edition and now the grinch) whenever I think of going to grab some donuts I usually go to a little locally owned place. But I had to have these grinch ones. Everyone here was really friendly, and yes, I did ask them to give me the prettiest ones (such as if any weren't smudged and etc) I felt embarrassed asking lol. But the great staff here knew what was up lol and definitely helped grab the prettiest ones. I ended up getting triple of each grinch donut to make it a dozen in order to get their cute limited edition grinch box (The grinch donut shaped like his face has filling that is coal AKA cookies and cream filling. Krispy Kreme has that unmistakable taste. When the "hot now" lights are on, you get a warm, glazed doughnut that is light and chewy, and it almost melts in your mouth. The glazed doughnuts themselves are as good as they can get. They're undeniably unique and craveable. Though these locations are everywhere, they are pretty spread out and this is the lone location in the Long Beach area! Just a tip to make sure you download the app since there are often really nice promos where they make it worth your while. If I order it on the app, then it's usually ready to go as soon as I park! I might dabble with some of their other doughnuts, but I feel that the drinks tend to run too sweet for my taste and I generally come here exclusively for their famous glazed doughnuts. Come to the drive thru for a pick up order. I said who I was after waiting about 60-90 seconds for someone to acknowledge I was waiting. Said my name and he sounded confused said my name again and seemed lost. Said my name the third time and said to pull forward. I pulled forward and he say your getting the mixed dozen? I said no I have a mobile order. Goes to look for it and did not locate and had someone else order ticket and he is looking at it and trying to say is this not your order. Not my name and definitely not my order. So then he leaves and looks again. This time he ask for my phone number and after that he was able to locate my order. I do not go to a lot of Donut place drive through but I didn't expect it to be 20 min wait with only 3 or 4 other cars in front of me. No apologies for the long wait or misunderstanding of being able to find a simple order. They practically melt in your mouth! I don't get doughnuts often, but whenever I do want some I always want to get Krispy Kreme. I went around noon, and there was a super long line. It was quite busy, but suprisingly there was plenty of parking. The service (when I went) was great. The person at the front counter was new, but she did her best. I've been using Krispy Kreme fundraiser coupons with no issues--until today. Earlier this week, I redeemed one for half glazed, half Easter-themed doughnuts and simply paid the $4 difference. Totally fair and easy. But when I went back today to get a full dozen of Easter doughnuts (and again offered to pay the difference), the cashier, Anthony, said I couldn't. He brought over the manager, who then called the assistant manager, Jose. Jose told me it would "mess up their numbers" and refused the redemption altogether. This makes no sense. Krispy Kreme's own website clearly states these coupons are valid for one dozen Original Glazed doughnuts, and there's no rule against paying extra to upgrade. I've done it before at this same location. It felt like they just didn't want to bother, and instead of honoring the promotion and accepting my money, they shut it down with a weak excuse. Terrible customer experience. If you're going to participate in fundraisers, at least train your staff properly and treat customers consistently. read more
