Traditional Breakfast
J M.

I was a little disappointed on this visit. I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Everything was fine, but the eggs seemed bland and the bacon tasted a little greasy. Service was below my expectations, even though the place was not busy at all. Server didn't check on me often enough for drink refills.

Burned Turkey Sausage with my child's breakfast. Why would you even serve someone this?

My child was given burned, overcooked turkey sausage with her breakfast. When I originally asked about it, a server laughed. Later, another more understanding server apologized.

I came here on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty busy. I got a fall item: maple breakfast croissant but it was way too sweet, I felt like the apricot jam overpowered the ingredients too much. The iced coffee was also way watered down and way too much milk, as you can see in the picture. The ambience was fun and energetic but the food was just mediocre.

Three adults and one two year old came here for a late breakfast on Friday. We were seated quickly and our server was quick to come get drink orders. Right now they have two menus. The regular one and a fall one. Two of us ordered from the regular menu and one had Brussel sprouts and egg dish. She said it was very salty but not to the point she couldn't eat it. We were surprised at the amount of food on the kids plate, especially the fruit . I had an omelette with bacon, cheese and avocado. It came with a salad and toast. It was good but didn't have much bacon...lots of cheese and avocado. A pitcher of water and coffee was left at the table so that was nice. The place was clean and tables were cleaned quickly after customers left. A modern country feel... They had a covered patio but it was raining so everyone was inside. A nice atmosphere and good food.

Coffee tasted good and the price was fairly reasonable! Combos are well worth the value. I've had mostly good service at this location. Can be fairly crowded on weekends, but the wait is never too long.

Parma Hash

Arrived shortly after 10am for Sunday breakfast and we were seated almost immediately. The dining area was packed and there were also people dining outside. Once we left (around 11:45am) a wait and line had formed so early arrival is recommended. Our server got to us pretty quickly and she was great about answering my questions as I'd never eaten at any First Watch before. I enjoyed the Parma hash (no mushrooms) and put my eggs on the side. The hash was delicious and reminded me of a sausage pizza (which I love) I will say I am very picky with eggs and surprisingly I ate them all (and I usually dislike when the cheese is on top of the eggs vs. being mixed/scrambled in). I even liked the jam provided as I usually prefer grape. This experience will definitely have me considering First Watch more often for breakfast and lunch!

Was in town for services at a dealership and decided to kill some time and get brunch. I was seated immediately. When I walked in it was a little too cold for my liking so I decided to sit outside. And I'm glad I did. It was a nice warm but breezy day. My waiter, Casey, was amazing. I ordered and served promptly. To my surprise, the food was hot. I ordered the breakfast tacos and fruit and they were so delicious. The food was seasoned perfectly and very flavorful. The fruit was cold and sweet. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, chill brunch vibe.

I've loved First Watch since I first went in Phoenix years ago. I was so glad to go today as it's been a couple of years since I've gone. Met up with a group after church and really enjoyed the food and the service. Our server was very nice and helpful. I could not decide what I wanted, so jumped and decided on the breakfast tacos. The server swayed me to get the potatoes versus the beans and I am so glad I did! The potatoes were very yummy, but a little salty. However, the tacos that were stuffed with avocado, chorizo, cheese, chicken, and Pico de gallo. Wow! And wow again! I've been missing these for the classic breakfasts for so long! I would recommended the tacos hands down! So full of flavor! I added some cholula for heat and it made all of the ingredients pop! Would recommend First Watch hands down as a go-to breakfast spot!

Seasonal menu is fantastic! Great place to go after church. The communication at the front could have been better, we had a reservation but still waited 20 minutes. Then we had to get a small table and someone sat on the end. However once that was settled everything was great! Our server Courtney was great, on top of everything when we asked her for help. I got the Steak and Bacon burrito which was very filling and had a ton of flavor. Their eggs Benedict is also another big highlight!

Superfoods bowl

TLDR: Delicious and nutritious entrees for a reasonably price! We decided to dine here on a Sunday around 11 am. Sunday brunch is likely their busiest time so we expected a wait. A few of our party arrived early to put our name on the waitlist. The hostesses informed us it would be at least a 40 minute wait. We decided to drive to a nearby cafe with the plan to return in about 30 minutes. Shortly after we left we received a text saying to visit the hostess stand since our table was nearly ready. Thankfully the rest of our party were a few minutes away so they went to the hostess stand and claimed the table. They were seated just 10 minutes after we had first arrived. I'm certainly happy we were seated sooner, but wish they had originally provided a more accurate wait time. 10 minutes vs. at least 40 minutes is quite the difference. Thankfully they were able to seat us with most of the party present as we drove back. Our waitress Tory was great. She was attentive and energetic. All of our orders were accurate and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Two of the glasses provided were dirty, but quickly replaced. We each liked our selected entree and left satisfied. I particularly enjoyed the superfoods bowl. Overall excellent place for brunch on a typical day or for a special occasion.

Great breakfast place, loved the variety of dishes. Not a typical boring eggs and pancakes menu. Will definitely go back!

They helped me navigate my coffee order and executed it to perfection. They also answered all of my gluten free questions and took extra precautions for my allergy. You can get a punch card for every coffee and get one free on your tenth purchase. They have a great pastry selection. I got an almond croissant to go for my mom on a recommendation from a friend that said it's a can't miss! Took the family to Tazza Kitchen at Stone Creek Village for Easter brunch yesterday. Good call…read more The place was buzzing (ot in an overwhelming way, just alive). We started with the cinnamon bun, which was housemade brioche with a vanilla sugar glaze, and honestly it could have been the whole meal. It was that good. We ordered around the table, egg scramble bowl, huevos rancheros, chicken burrito. All of it was solid. The huevos rancheros especially. Salsa roja, chorizo, queso fresco, avocado. Fresh-squeezed OJ and cava in the mimosas didn't hurt either. The food was great. Tori made it memorable. Our server, Victoria (prefers Tori) was just one of those people. She knew when to come by and when to leave us alone, which sounds simple but most people can't do it. Not performative warmth, just actual warmth. She was on top of everything without making us feel managed. We talked about her afterwards. Tori made the occasion. Thank you Tazza Kitchen Stone Creek Village at 600 Ledgestone Way, Cary NC!

And while we were waiting for 5 minutes for our table we were given a slice of pizza to taste, which was an amazing gesture and the pizza was so good, think crust, cheesy but light. We ordered beer and a mocktail for drinks and I loved my mocktail, it was refreshing. For appetisers we ordered their cast iron goat cheese that came with their buttery sour dough bread chunks, the dip was a little too sour for my taste but it was compensated by the flavour full goat cheese. We also ordered their kale and chillies salad for the table and loved it. Highly recommended. For our main course we ordered their Harrisa bowl with crab cake and the Brick oven salmon. The crab cake was on of the best I have ever had. Next time I am definitely ordering their full crab cake order with fries. Every item in the bowl was complementing each other perfectly. The lightly sauted vegetable with a dash of honey tasted great with the tangy white taziki and cucumber sauce and the pearl couscous. I am definitely trying the other bowls next time I am there. The salmon was perfectly cooked and tender. The fried rice, sauted vegetables and the whipped goat cheese tasted so good together. For dessert we ordered their flourless chocolate cake and it was a little dry but very guey and chewy, loved the taste though! Our server was extremely sweet and so considerate of our choices and gave us substitutes and also packed some extra bread togo. So happy and content with food service and the overall ambiance of this restaurant. It gives a fancy vibe but is also very reasonable. Definitely going there again soon!!

The hotel property is charming and thoughtfully designed, with a mix of tables, sofas, and comfortable chairs that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We arrived 3/4 past noon and chose to sit in the study/library area rather than the main dining room. I would strongly recommend this option. The study is quiet and comfortable, while the main restaurant area was noticeably louder. The proximity allows you to enjoy the ambiance without the noise. The menu offerings felt fairly typical for this style of restaurant. We tried the skillet cornbread. It was served room temperature and on the dry side. However, the whipped butter that accompanied it was excellent. Unfortunately, the cornbread was not warm enough to melt it, which would have improved the experience. The Italian wedding soup was very good and served properly hot. We also ordered the local lettuces salad with chicken. The salad itself was fresh, but the chicken was visibly dry and tasted the same. Interestingly, placing the chicken into the soup made it more enjoyable. The double cheeseburger was average. The bun struggled to hold together under the two patties and cheese. The flavor was acceptable but not memorable. Our server was exceptional. Attentive, professional, and gracious throughout the meal. The service elevated the the mediocre experience. Overall, Peck & Plume offers a beautiful setting and excellent service. For a quieter meal, request the study/library seating. While the food was satisfactory, it did not quite match the charm of the surroundings. Would we go again? Maybe. If we did, we would order different items. But, we would request Brian as the server.
