This little hole in the wall cafe right off Chapel Hill Road is a true delight! With airy vibes, it's got some of the best food I've had at a cafe. The drip coffee was okay, but the avocado toast was tasty! The mushroom leek crepe was very savory as well. The peach cardamom cloud latte had a very strong cardamom aftertaste. Today for my coffee shop Saturday's, I finally checked out Milo's Cafe and I loved it. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. Everyone that works there is so friendly. The beautiful lady that works there gave me their 2 menu's, the regular menu and the spring menu. They have so many options, from Crepes, to Paninis, to breakfast to lunch to dessert. I sat at a table for a few minutes to browse them. I decided on a hot Hazelnut Brown Sugar Latte and a slice of Banana Bread. Both sooo good!! My first sip of my latte and I was so happy. It's super cute inside of Milo's Cafe. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. Even the ladies room is super cute. I'll definitely be back. read more

One of my favorite spots for lattes, quick breakfast, and a great Focaccia sandwich. I've been visiting for over a year now and love that they have seasonal menus! I've tried many items and the Ube Latte, salmon Focaccia, the Caesar Chicken Wrap are some of my faves. For the price you get a lot, the food is very filling! Great place to study or get some work done. I like the quiet of the morning. It is a busier street so be careful when parking, but overall great spot. This cafe was my second choice after another option shortly up the road was packed. There were certainly people here (even one to let me know that I was forgetting my bag as I walked out), but I found seating. Opting for something subjectively lighter than a foccacia, I selected a crepe. It wasn't fancy, but it was a well executed, sizable crepe, and the banana and nutella combination is a classic for a reason. A strawberry matcha was heavy on strawberry, and I got oat milk, which for whatever reason is just a really good flavor combination even if you're not a vegan. The menu didn't quite have everything I wanted (a vegan protein/fiber option is my holy grail of brunch food), but I enjoyed what I got and was happy I stopped in. read more

I think the avocado and the goat cheese compliments egg really good. It could do with a little more flavor to pair with the spring mix. May introduce me to this cafe and from what I heard they are quite known for their focaccia bread. I also tried a bit of my friend French toast and it was really good but not too sweet. From the outside it looks very simple and you might catch it just passing by. This place seems to be always busy and seats fill up fast. You order at front and take a number to your table. It's Father's day. We just wanted a cute lunch spot to unwind. Stepped in and was taken aback by how full it was in the small space. So i thought is gotta be good! Boy was i right. This place was so cute and the employees were very kind, it was just extremely overwhelming and overcrowded. We were traveling and, to be fair, did come in on a Sunday afternoon and likely just got stuck with the church crowd, but it was a tad much and I was very relieved once we left. I got the ham & cheese croissant while my boyfriend got the salami focaccia - and both were hot, delicious, and large enough to have leftovers for the long car ride ahead. I got an iced ube, coconut latte, which was flavored nicely - not too sweet, but definitely on the lighter/watery side. I didn't taste much espresso, but it was still yummy. Overall pretty yummy. The prices are what we expected for a smaller cafe and the food was nice and fresh. The crepe was warm and filling and I had enough to save some for later. The croissant sandwich was yummy but wish it had a little more bread, buttt we know some heavily prefer more filling to bread. The side salad was fresh and light and complemented the sandwich well. Also got an iced hibiscus tea which wasn't too bad but would probably save on the tea next time. A little pricey in general but not out of the regular range of a smaller cafe, and the food you get is decent size and I was definitely satisfied at the end. Nice atmosphere and ambiance with flowers and giant teddy bears decorating the inside. I did wish the wooden benches and chairs had some cushion since it seemed like a lot of customers were doing work here. I met a friend here today, and we had a lovely lunch. I very much enjoyed my ham and cheese crepe, and my friend loved his Milo's Morning Bite. Both portions were huge, and we each took half home. The restaurant was calm and quiet, and the service was fantastic. Our server was friendly and helpful, and you could tell that she really loves this restaurant. They offer seasonal options, and prices were reasonable. Since it's right on 54, it can be a little bit difficult to get in and out, and parking can get a little tight when they're busy. Where do I begin! Customer service 10/10! The ambience was very cute Café vibes. The menu amazing. I went for a croissant and coffee, but what I got was 10 times better. As a matter of fact, I went one day and went back the next day. The experience was equal. 10/10! Their classic Nutella crêpe amazing! But if you're a French toast person and you've had French toast from all around the world-- Milo's French toast is in my top five! My only issue is that they only give you one piece. Finally Tried Milo's Café -- And I'm Glad I Did! I've been driving past Milo's Café in Morrisville for over a year -- it's right along one of my routes to RDU. Last week, my wife and I finally decided to stop in on our way home from (you guessed it) RDU. It was a Sunday morning, but we got there early enough to beat the rush -- confirmed by the friendly staff. Parking was easy, and right from the entrance, the place had a super cool vibe. A cozy mix of tables, chairs, and even a lounge-y couch area off to the side gave it a laid-back but stylish atmosphere. It's a counter-service setup -- you order at the register, and they bring the food to you. The menu had a lot of tempting options: toasts, bowls, salads, pastries, and more. But what sealed the deal for us? We saw a crepe being delivered to another table, asked what it was, and immediately changed our order. We ended up splitting the Ham, Egg, Cheese & Béchamel Crepe, and wow -- it was incredible. Savory, a little sweet, cheesy in all the best ways, and generously sized. My wife also grabbed an iced coffee, which she really enjoyed. A steady stream of customers came in after us, but the space never felt crowded or loud. We even noticed a little side patio area on our way out -- could be a great spot once the Southern humidity takes a break. Will I go back? Absolutely. My sisters and I came around 11 am for brunch on a Saturday. From the outside the place looks very unassuming, but the interior was bright, cheerful, and nicely decorated. There were only a few two-person tables left when we arrived but we moved a chair over and made it work for 3. I came by to check it out with my roommate, the vibes are immaculate (very cute decor, there's a spot for comfy sitting and a good amount of eating/working areas, GREAT music too) and they had a great selection of caffeine and food. They also have seasonal items, all-day items- you can't go wrong with something you'd like here. Service was great! I was a big fan of their prosciutto focaccia. The bread was incredible, the ratio was wonderful (great vinaigrette/sauce with a little twang, can taste all the meat, cheese, and filling) and it was super filling. Highly recommend! We also ordered the mortadella focaccia- I'm a mustard, olive, and pickle fan, but the mustard was really overpowering. I can confidently say that black coffee may have been one of the best black coffees I have had in the triangle. It did not have a bitter flavor compared to many other black coffees. Very impressive. The crepe was also very good but definitely needed some spice personally. The truffle crepe we had was also slightly over truffled in our opinion but pretty good if that is something you like in a crepe. The vibes inside are great. Plenty of seating but definitely gets busy so be warned. Parking is a little strange since its right off the road but there is plenty of parking (unless its super busy). Prices are decently but depends on what you get. Staff is friendly and really create a family/cozy atmosphere. Overall, really like this cafe and would definitely come back for another cup of coffee and to catch up on work. I really want to try the focaccia next time I am in! read more

Hidden gem. What a delightful place! Driving by you might miss it. But please back up, turn around and get inside. I love the decor- quaint, eclectic, cozy and clean. Even the bathroom has pizazz. I didn't try any of them this trip. I opted for the Breakfast Formula for only $16!!! Now let me tell you what you get - eggs your way, ciabatta toast, jam and butter, orange juice and hot or iced coffee!!! Whattttt?? You read that right. Now add that up individually at your favorite spot. Right! And it was delicious. The eggs are cooked in house and were light and fluffy. The toast and jam were good also, but homemade jam would have elevated this place to new heights. My ube late was delicious as well, not too sweet and with the good ice. I can't wait to try the salads and sandwiches. Service was amazing as well. Friendly staff that will explain all the options. Milo's cafe I took my mother in a wheelchair. With the rocks in the parking lot it was quite hard to get her from the car lot to the sidewalk even though we were front row. Once we got in it was packed full and no seats or chairs. These nice women got up and they cleaned off the table. We enjoyed coffee and a Nutella crepe. Everyone around us was working from there laptops a few people like us were not. It was a weekend so maybe it is a different environment on the weekend. It day say wheelchair accessible but was quite hard although it is flat with the rocky gravel. For a coffee run when I am in the area I may return but not to sit down as it seemed great for people who work from their laptops. The girl was friendly who took our order. read more

The first time I came here I was doing my favorite thing (third wheeling) and everyone was impressed at the attention to detail...even the arugula is dressed with such care that I was unaware I could enjoy arugula so much. I came to Milo's on a Wednesday mid-morning for brunch and coffee. There were a surprising number of people already there, mostly on their computers, so I'm guessing they were working or studying remotely. The space is small, but there was still enough seating when I went. I tried their Milo's Morning Bite, which is a foccacia sandwich with avocado, egg, goat cheese, sprouts. The egg was hard boiled and mixed, kind of like an egg salad, but it actually all went together quite well. The flavors were more tangy and acidic, which went well with the avocado and egg. The foccacia was solid, and it was a pretty filling sandwich. I also tried their iced coffee since it was a hot summer day, and I enjoyed it. Overall, a nice quaint cafe in Morrisville - a bit hidden and out of the way, but a great place to grab a bite and / or drink and meet with someone or get some work done. read more

I drive by this café all the time and finally decided to give it a try. I really liked the cozy vibe - it felt different from the other eateries I've been to and had its own unique charm. The latte was decent, and I enjoyed the veggie focaccia, although the chicken one tasted a bit old. The French toast was amazing, and the crepes were really good too. However, when I visited again, I had a terrible experience. There were roaches on the wall and even falling onto the floor, walking right in front of our table. It completely ruined the experience, and I no longer felt comfortable sitting there or finishing my food. I informed the staff, and someone from the kitchen came out to catch one of the roaches from the floor. At that point, my family and I decided to leave, and even another table nearby got up and left as well. I would never go back after seeing that. It made me wonder how badly the kitchen might be infested. It's disappointing because I genuinely liked the local ambiance and some of the food, but cleanliness should have been a priority. read more

We had a great experience at Milo's after just flying into Raleigh airport. It's about 8-10 minutes away from RDU. The food was absolutely delicious. We also got 2 lattes and one was not sweet enough but the barista immediately helped resolve the issue and it ended up being very good. The food and drinks were great, the service provided along with the prices we paid was unwelcoming enough for us to not come back. We came in and grabbed menus with no welcome, no smile, no customer service at all- just a blank stare. When we had questions we were met with what we perceived as attitude. With other patrons (mostly white) the staff was much more welcoming. I see other reviews where the cafe has responded and explained that this is not their intention- when I read these responses I see a company that lacks constructive feedback. This is not a company that seems to actually want to hear feedback rather than dispute it. For example, they replied to a patron telling them the situation was not what the patron perceived- this isn't listening to your customer, it's the company trying to change the narrative and completely disregard how someone of their community feels in their establishment. As an interracial same sex couple we absolutely did not feel welcome in this establishment, not by the staff and not by the other patrons. Especially not after watching the staff have good interactions with other patrons. I hope that management changes their tune and listens to their community members who clearly are not feeling welcomed in their cafe. read more

Been wanting to try this place for so long! Matcha was definitely one of the better ones I've had in the Triangle area. I can appreciate I actually TASTE the matcha, rather than just having some green milk, as has been my experience in many other places. It definitely wasn't the best one I've ever had, I'd love to see it a bit more vibrant once mixed in and think that may just be due to the quality of matcha powder they use. Sandwiches were great.
