I came in here for a coffee break from work. It is such a beautiful building and was even more wow-ed! By the aesthetics in the inside of this place. They do have both coffee and food. I wasn't entirely in a coffee tasting mood but really needed a pick-me-up. They had the strawberries and cream latte as their special drink, so I went ahead and order this and the bang bang tacos. The strawberries and cream was super delicious and hit my craving just right. The bang bang shrimp tacos had a kick with the sauce, but incorporating pineapple was what gave this a 10/10 for me. It had a sweet and spicy flavor to it, which balanced these tacos to perfection with each bite. The employees behind the counter were extremely friendly. I recommend this spot for anybody who's local or traveling through.

In the brand-new sterile areas of Brier Creek, developers are starting to put in businesses that are quite different from the usual nail salon/coffee shop/dry cleaners. The GOAT is a case in point. It's a coffee shop/restaurant that also has an outdoor pool and volleyball court. Their breakfast menu is served in a corner called the Morning Ritual. It's a very clean, efficient space that is trying to be a little more "cozy" with paper cutout flower pots suggesting various coffee/tea drink possibilities, glass cloches covering decadent cakes and cookies, etc. I was here for serious fare, however, so I ordered the breakfast burrito and Spanish Mocha. The coffee is a largish affair, with chili powder, salt, and steamed milk. It was tasty. I like the cups. They are heavy-duty chocolate brown porcelain (?) with a rough finish. I opted to sit outside, on a tiny 20'x20' concrete apron nestled into the side of the building. There are three tables and two rocking chairs out there. Service is through a window, but between the fairly loud country music and the shy, quiet voices of the kitchen staff, it's difficult to hear when your order is ready. They gave me a table flag, but the breeze kept knocking it over. But I liked the breeze after weeks of rain and 90° mornings. 78° with a nice wind feels amazing. My burrito arrived after a while, in a white to-go bag, which was disappointing. I told them I was eating here and got the coffee in a cup for here. Oh well, it's still edible! Wrapped in foil and waxed paper, it was easy enough to eat. The stuffing included eggs, bacon, cheese, and sour cream (which I asked for on the side). It was all wrapped in a flour tortilla, very tightly rolled so that it didn't fall apart while eating. The flavors were ok, but nothing spectacular. I love a good omelette/burrito, but the flavors here were muted. I couldn't put my finger on just what I felt was missing. There were no spices (even salt and pepper seemed to have been left out!), but nothing "popped." Meanwhile, the Wifi was great, the seat was comfy, and the shaded area kept me there enjoying the cool late morning air for a good while past noon. I may be back for the coffee, but I'll try a different menu item next time. And request some hot sauce or salt & pepper.

Perfect entrance - peaceful and inviting.

What a hidden gem! Awesome awesome food, coffee, service, ambience, quietness in the morning. Definitely coming back here again ... and again.

Tasty cold brew, kind staff, cute ambiance, and a kicky breakfast sandwich. Nice stop while in town and not too far from the airport to make it an easy bite after a plane ride.

Love this place! Enjoyed a breakfast date here and thoroughly enjoyed the Herbivore Scramble - best $10 I've spent eating out! My husband had the chicken biscuit and iced coffee, both were delicious. Will absolutely be returning to this hidden gem.

My wife and I had brunch here at around 10:30am on a Thursday. It was really slow and we had great service. I had their breakfast burrito and my wife had their huevos rancheros. Both our meals were filling and delicious and I would have them again. Carol also had their Spanish coffee which was also delicious but very sweet with Coco. I picked up my wife from the airport and this restaurant was just 10 minutes from RDU. It is a very large restaurant with a full bar and also a nice coffee shop with delicious looking pastries. I'd come here again.

Came here with a friend on a Thursday morning and had a great experience. The coffee was good, and my friend enjoyed her latte. We also ordered two breakfast biscuits. It took a while for the food to come out but it was hot, fresh, and delicious. Especially liked the bacon and egg biscuit. The barista was really friendly. Would definitely come here again!

Really cute breakfast and coffee spot. The coffee is located off to the right and you order food/drink and find your seat. We decided to just grab coffee and it was pretty good! I would love to come back and try their food next time. They also had a bar! So interested to see what the vibe is like for brunch.

The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. This particular morning, I knew I wanted to stop by Trader Joe's afterward, but they weren't open yet. So I pulled up the map looking for a coffee shop where I could get a little coworking done. Thousand Hills Coffee popped up, and it had been on my "need to try" list for a while. I also shot my buddy KH a quick text to see if he wanted to join me and catch up on our latest ultra running training shenanigans. Thankfully, he was game. I rolled in around 8:30 a.m. and managed to grab a decent parking spot. Worth mentioning because the coffee shop shares parking with the apartment complex next door, so I imagine spaces can disappear quickly. KW arrived a few minutes before me and had to park a bit farther away. Walking inside, I immediately liked the vibe. It feels modern but still cozy, almost like someone's really well-designed living room. There are several distinct seating areas, plenty of soft chairs, a long community table, and even bar seating overlooking the baristas. It struck a nice balance between coffee shop and comfortable workspace. Since I'd already knocked out my morning run, I was ready for a little breakfast. KH and I both ordered the cheese, Danish. It looked huge in the display case, though it shrank a bit once it made it onto the plate. That said, it was really flavorful and definitely worth ordering. I also grabbed a regular drip coffee, which was excellent. My timing was amusing because they had just finished the last pot and were brewing a fresh one, but honestly, getting a fresh cup probably worked out for the best. We grabbed chairs next to the long community table instead at the table since the morning sun was already heating things up. We spent a while catching up, talking running, races, and all the usual endurance athlete nonsense. After KH headed out, I relocated to the long table that was in the shade and spent another hour or so catching up on emails and getting a little work done. It turned out to be a great co-working spot with plenty of room to spread out without feeling like you were taking up space. One last shoutout to the staff, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Good coffee is one thing, but great people always make the experience better. Overall, I came away impressed. Somehow, they've been open for about two years, and I'm honestly not sure how they managed to stay off my radar for so long. Safe to say they'll be making it into my regular rotation whenever I need a good cup of coffee and a comfortable place to get some work done.

The outside patio has cushy lounge seats, perfect for soaking up sunshine (though it's right by the highway, so some outdoor spots come with a bit of traffic noise during rush hours). This place is a dream for remote work. Every table is so spread out (esp outdoor) that you don't overhear other conversations, no loud music, and sunlight streaming in from every corner. Service was quick and thoughtfully accommodating. I appreciated that they bring food in a to-go container if you're sitting outside, so you're not stuck carrying plates back. And bonus points for their commitment to using sustainable packaging. The coffee was quite delicious! Jubala Coffee actually makes a type of specialty beans roasted just for F&F. Their drink menu is on the simpler side, but they usually have a couple of seasonal lattes, and everything I tried tasted great. Food-wise, it's a gem: generous portions, very reasonably priced, and flavorful. It reminded me a bit of Fount Kitchen in its "organic, healthy" vibe, but with more non-vegetarian options and even better flavor. There's plenty of parking right out front, but sadly they close at 2:30pm, so it's more of a morning or lunch spot. All in all, a wonderful place for a morning work sesh or a work lunch in style!
