The owner is the worker I usually see when I've gone there! It is nicely decorated! They have a good amount of parking available outside the building! They do have a bathroom inside! The boss is a good communicator and she's there to build a relationship! I got the butter pecan shake - I definitely think it could have used some more flavor. It tastes kind of bland l. Luckily I added extra cinnamon, so I could taste a little bit of that. I don't remember the name of the tea I got but it was tasty and delicious. I wish they had a combo deal. Where if I got both the shake and tea it would save me money! I think $19 is a lot for two drinks!!

Personally I prefer a smoothie since they are more filling and have fresh fruits and vegetables. Simply healthy does offer a variety of beverage options. The flavors are strong and sweet. I could see these drinks preferred by those used to drinking artificial or sugar sweetened beverages. The drinks are large but pricy. I added 15 grams of protein to the Dragon drink and it came to $14. I was surprised as a "healthy" beverage establishment that they didn't incorporate more fresh produce, fiber, or higher protein options (20-30 grams). Particularly if they promote them as meal replacements. In addition to beverages, they also sell powder mix for shakes and meal replacement bars to go. These are located at the front right of the counter. The store is small, but comfortable and welcoming. It is bright and has a few areas to sit inside. It is a Herbalife location, but I loved how the employee did not push the products on me. The employee was friendly and not very knowledgeable about the ingredients. The establishment is located in a plaza next to food lion. Parking is available right out front. Overall, it is a nice place just not for me.

My husband ordered the same entree, but a side of fries. They have an array of toppings you can add to your burger (e.g. cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon jam, etc.). Their burgers are made fresh so it took about 15 minutes to get our food, but that was entirely worth the wait. (They do text you when your food is ready so you don't have to stay right next to the truck.) The burger was very juicy and full of flavor. The mac & cheese complemented it well. I did try some of my husband's fries too. They were crinkle cut and very well-seasoned. The employees on the truck were very kind. Show some support for this local business because this is a must try food truck!

The business is situated inside of a small shopping center and there probably always a parking space due to the location When I called the lady answered the phone and she was really nice! She told me that they normally take orders 24 to 48 hours in advance but I called at the perfect time because they were just popping popcorn! I was so happy about that! I ordered 2 bags of their bulk popcorn! The bags individually feed about 40 people! And they are huge! I ended getting 2 because I wasn't for sure if it would be enough and it ended up being plenty I still have an unopened one left! They offer so many flavors. While waiting to pay I was able to try a sample of their caramel siracha popcorn! And it spicy but good! I paid $36 for both bags which was extremely awesome. Overall great store, I would definitely recommend them for huge events! Or if you love popcorn!

Popcorn. It's hard to go wrong with it when it's fresh. It doesn't matter if it's plain or…read moreflavored. It's a nearly guilt-free indulgence even when mixed with sugary flavorings. It's popcorn, after all. What are a few spoonfuls of caramel or chocolate or nuts? Because some of the flavors use air-popped corn, that means there's no guilt. The calories evaporate when it's air-popped. At least that's how I convince myself it's okay. Carolina Popcorn Shoppe helps you feel better about indulging. They use all natural ingredients (except for the vanilla flavoring in the popcorn that uses it) and it's made fresh. Anything more than a couple of days old gets thrown out. Since there are no preservatives, the product won't keep long and the Shop doesn't make a lot of it in advance. If you're willing to wait, though, they'll make you a fresh batch. On average it's about a 15 minute wait while they fire up the popcorn popper and get things going. I haven't been there while they've done that, but the smell of popcorn popping is one of those "yum" aromas that might make the wait a must-do. If you decide to wait while they make your particular flavor popcorn, or put together a tin or a few big bags to take home or give as a gift, the shop has 3 or 4 tables and a refrigerated cooler with soft drinks for purchase. You can buy the popcorn in nearly any size from a couple of ounces to a pound or more. The hours it's open are limited, but you can always go online and order. It's also available at a couple of shops in the Triangle (e.g. Southern Season, NOFO, Gingham and Posh) so you'll never be too far away from a popcorn fix.

We tried calling multiple times and only reached an answering service that couldn't provide any real help. No one from the actual business ever called us back. No updates. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. For a holiday order that families rely on, this level of disregard is unacceptable. We were left scrambling at the last minute because this company simply did not show up or communicate. Based on our experience, Chef Mario, Inc. feels completely unreliable, and we strongly urge others to think twice before placing an order. A business that takes holiday payments and then disappears is not one you should trust with something this important. Avoid the headache -- look elsewhere.
