The employee behind the counter told me they had closed early because the manager wanted to leave. Even more frustrating, when we asked the employee to call the manager about a refund, the manager was informed that my online order had arrived. That means they knew I had placed an order and knew I was on my way, but no one bothered to call or notify me that they had closed early. Instead of refunding me, I was told I had to go online and request the refund myself. They said that if I couldn't figure it out, they would "try" to process it the next day. It's unacceptable to accept a customer's order and payment, close early without notice, and then make the customer chase down a refund. This was a complete waste of my time and gas, and the lack of communication and customer service was extremely disappointing. I won't be ordering from here again.

The biscuit and sausage was good, but a bit too much for one person after eating a separate order already. Definitely bring more people so you can try more things. Also, I wished I had asked for sausage gravy on the side so I can try the biscuit on its own first as well. Furthermore, I would have more time to eat the catfish so I wasn't worried about the biscuit getting soggy. Christy came to check up on me every now and then. The place was buzzing with people and decorations so I didn't feel so alone. When it was time to pay, Christy brought me the check for me to pay at the cash register. The place was always packed and busy yet cozy and calm with great service. Hopefully they relocate or put some of the items from the menu at Pooles. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise.
