Açaí bowl and chai -both good!
    Peyton W.

I've been going to New World since before they moved from their old location over at Pleasant Valley. The food and drinks are still good quality, albeit have gone up a bit in price. It's still a good spot to meet up and grab a coffee or a bite to eat. My biggest issue is that it feels so sterile and "modern." Modern isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's just very clean and "diner-esque." I don't know how else to put it but the old location was cozier. It was the type of cafe where you could feel comfortable getting lost in a book, or studying for extended periods of time. I'm sure some people would be fine doing the same here, but for me it's lost some of its comfort and charm. I think one thing that could help is putting up some local art or adding more varied comfortable seating options. Just my two cents! Otherwise as I mentioned, the quality has remained the same and the service is still good! I still recommend going, I guess I'm just nostalgic for the vibes it used to have.

Scrambled eggs with cheese and turkey sausage

Bright spot (think it used to be Steak and Shake) in the parking lot of a shopping center. You order at the counter. I was trying to order from a section of the menu which I guess could be a sandwich or a platter. The difference wasn't clearly stated, nor were prices. I asked the cashier and she basically said the platter just didn't include bread. I didn't want to hold the line up so didn't ask many questions. Since I'm gluten free I just went with scrambled eggs with cheddar and some turkey sausage. Not sure if pricing was pure item or what, but the price was reasonable. Decent size-- three scrambled eggs with generous cheese -- and I did like the turkey sausage. Overall a quick spot to grab breakfast with friends.

For a coffee that's close by, this was wonderful! I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. For lunch, I got the fight club sandwich add avocado. Maple bacon spread + Mayo was divine. It was HUGE too. For a side I tried the Asian coleslaw and it was pretty good. Very peanuty. Service and staff were kind

I really enjoyed New World Cafe the few times I've been in the area! I love their seasonal flavors - particularly their Maple Spice latte in the fall. It was so smooth and flavorful. The cafe itself was a small space, but had a few seats and couches inside. Their breakfast sandwiches were also delicious. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for some coffee and snacks!

I used to stop by here a lot when I was local. Then I moved. My wife recently "discovered" this cafe/coffee shop and insisted we stop by. Coffee was very good, service friendly and helpful, and the breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato with a very good aioli was fabulous. See photo. We lucked out that it was Thanksgiving weekend and surprisingly quiet. Very good.

My husband has been here without me a few times, but due to my 9-5 job I hadn't had a chance to visit. That changed this past week when I took a half day and went to their new spot by the Duraleigh Library. 10 out of 10 ! My turkey sandwich was fantastic, the spread they added was amazing. My husband had a lovely salad as well. HIGHLY recommend and now I want to go back for breakfast.

Family had Norwegian pancakes! So good the and favorite for both children was peanut butter and chocolate. Number 2 was Nutella and bananas.

I love coming to this place. The food is good quality, the service is always lovely, and the restaurant is well maintained. And of course the coffee is the best!

A Macaroons avocado toast and a water

We worded a few thing and it turned out to be $30.00. The food was ok but it was huge and it was $16.00 for 1 pease of avocado toast. The vibe was good every one was nice but there was no uniform.

Exquisite coffee drinks in a fresh, new and inviting space. Their cappuccinos are the penultimate happy start to a morning. And now much easier parking, though I'm eager to use the drive-thru to pickup my online order on the way to work.

Counter Culture coffee selection is great. Has lots of options and some yummy sandwich choices including a black bean burger or black bean salad for veg options. Cortado was excellent.

B,E&C sourdough :) They also offer breakfast sandwiches on croissants, english muffins, bagels, and gluten free options too!

Great service, everyone was so sweet & the variety of food options & coffee flavors was really impressive! I'm so glad I decided to stop in here & will definitely be back :)

It's not a place to walk in and order a latte to go. it took over fifteen minutes for one drink. And there were 4-5 people working.

Is there an outside space for coffee drinking doggy lovers?

There is a small patio with about 4 tables outside.

I came in a little after lunch shift the other day and was a bit indecisive about my order but the very patient and nice girl at the counter helped me decide. I ended up ordering the Meatball with Provolone. The sandwich was well made with large meatballs and both the bread and the meat tasted fresh. Previously I had issues with the line situation, but in this case there was only one other person in the restaurant, so that was less of an inconvenience. The other, more serious issue centered around gnats and flies. I can confidently say that was not an issue when I revisted the other day. I was pleased with my second visit and the friendly, helpful girl who served me, I believe her name was Leah. I plan to return and perhaps I can convince my work to cater from here in the near future.

"Giant" sandwich is somewhat true in that the bread is over-sized compared to sliced bread -- but meat was lacking for sure. Friendly greeting upon entering. And parking is not the easiest, you will likely find yourself in the Harris Teeter garage. But the wait is worth it. As a NJ native and something of a sandwich aficionado, I have a rather discerning taste for a good sub sandwich. So upon a friend's recommendation, I went with the classic Italian. It came with prosciutto, hot capicola, genoa salami, and sharp provolone cheese. Note to everyone: Go for the sharp provolone, not mild! The first thing I want to say about this sub/hoagie is major props for the bread. It was crusty with sesame seeds on the outside, pillow soft inside. About the only thing I would wish is that it was semolina bread. Outside of that, kudos for the bread. Plenty of meat on the sandwich, which is key. I HATE HATE HATE when I order a sub and they give me something like three or four slices of meat. Not gonna name names...but that's not an issue at PH. I really like the grab and go options for various food items like long hot peppers, broccoli rabe, pickle chips, and dirt pudding. Excellent addition. I'm taking a star off since they only offer bottled drinks, you can't get free refills. No brewed iced tea, that's only available in bottles too. I'll at least forgive them for having Pepsi products since that's a Philly tradition. I'll definitely return to try their Italian tuna, chicken cutlet, and roast pork options.
