Food: got the double taro signature. It was interesting flavor but Not sure if I actually enjoyed it but it was something unique and different. There were alot of different textures so it was a bit confusing to eat. You did receive a really large quantity which plenty for 2-3 people. Service: they were friendly and helpful with explaining items. Location: located next to Perry steakhouse and located across Crabtree valley mall. There is a parking garage for your vehicle. Ambiance: super bright and colorful. Had indoor and outdoor seating. They had a cotton candy machine in the back which seemed to do different shapes however it wasn't working when we went. read more

Can we say, delicious!!! They have the best Taiwanese shaved ice around. We are Taiwanese American and have tried shaved ice from Taiwan, Japan, and across the world. This is by far one of the best shaved ice places around the east coast. We love the mango shaved ice, brown sugar shaved ice, and their various fruit juices (Mango and Passion Fruit) . As far as service, they are friendly and all very nice. The ambiance is also nice but they can clean thru tables more often as most are dirty from use. Highly recommend this place. read more

I'm not from around here so I was on the struggle bus to find it. GPS led me to the parking garage and this is more facing the front, anyways, I persisted and found it and so glad I did! I got taro tea with almond milk and so good. Not overly sweet and I loved scarping the taro from the side of the cup. Got a shaved ice with mago and strawberries and that was incredible!! Also got an Oreo waffle thing but they gave me chocolate so that was a bummer. Overall so cute and I'd def come back, especially cause I saw there was hotpot in the same building read more

Meetfresh is my favorite boba! I'm so glad that the Raleigh location opened up- despite being busy, the quality has been consistent. Meetfresh has rich, earthy milk teas and soft boba. I think that the boba has never been overcooked in all of my times visiting this location. There is ample seating inside, but this location is more of a sit down to chat place rather than a study spot. I'd say the seating is comfortable! read more

I came here after AYCE hot pot for boba for the road home. Meet Fresh is bright and welcoming, simple decor but cute. The staff were friendly and fairly quick with our order. I had the Thai tea with boba and it was delicious! If I find myself in this area again, I'll definitely be back and also try a dessert because they look super creative! read more

Come on Tuesdays! They have a special (you need to bring up) where they give grass jelly milk tea for free if you spend $20+. We ordered the taro and ube bowl, ube milk, and the (free) grass jelly drink. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The taro and ube special was well-sized and SO delicious, with taro balls, grass jelly, shaved ice, and taro/ube paste. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the grass jelly was. We get grass jelly in many places, but the texture and quality of this one was unparalleled. Truly delicious and not at all the same as the can you get from the grocery story :) On top of that, one of the workers was so kind and gave my little nephew a boba keychain. The place is spacious and perfect for small or large gatherings. I'm so glad we stumbled across this spot and hope to visit again soon! read more

Meet Fresh is tad hidden in this business complex, go past So Hot and it's just around the corner. Really bright and cute when you walk in, people are really kind and service is really fast. I got the winter melon milk tea at half sugar- tastes pretty similar to the normal winter melon but a tad less concentrated on the winter melon flavor. Great place for dessert in a hot day or any day. The env is clean and bright. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was not busy but after we sat, it got busiers. Great selection of delicious cold desserts. We were kinda full so just ordered 2 shaved ice for 3 of us to share. Strawberry shaved ice - it's shaved ice with milky layer of strawberries. Love it that it's not that sweet and with a slight tartness make it very refreshing. Mango shaved ice - would be even better if mango was ripe. But it was a bit hard. But the layer of mango milk helped make it better. Next I will to make sure mango is ripe. A little if things we want to try - will have to make it next time. read more

Yum!! I went to Meet Fresh, twice in one week it was so tasty! The shaved ice is my jam, each time I've gotten the strawberry and it's been fresh, sweet, and delicious. I've also tried out a few of the boba drinks including winter melon, ube, and brown sugar. They have so many options there so it is really hard to narrow it down. I also gave one of their waffles a try and while it was tasty, I'll probably stick to the shaved ice dishes next time. They also have a neat cotton candy machine. My son used it last time and the cotton candy was about 3x the size of his face. The shape wasn't super great, but still a fun novelty thing. Bring cash! The credit card machine was broken for the cotton candy only. Parking is easy in the parking deck that is basically behind the building, tucked away behind Fidelity. Looking forward to heading back in! read more

Someone told me about meat fresh when I was on my visit to North Carolina and decided to stop in. We got there a little after they opened so there wasn't many people inside which was nice for we were able to order right away and I already kind of knew what I wanted which was he pudding and mochi shaved ice. The flavors were so good. It was a flan pudding on top and soft delicate little mochis on the side. Everything tasted perfect. All the different textures were nice and the cold shaved ice sweetened with condensed milk and ice cream was so good. It was definitely a nice treat I will be back on my next trip.. read more

This is a franchise that sells high quality Taiwanese desserts and drinks! They have a large menu so there's something for everyone to like. I got the strawberry pistachio milk tea and my friend got a mango fruit tea. Both were delicious. I am definitely coming back to try the shaved iced, it looks AMAZING. I felt a little overwhelmed by it, to be honest, and a little embarrassed having to ask for explanations but in the end, my son and I split a large (should have gone for medium) Mango milk shaved ice. Unlike Korean snow ice, which tastes milky all the way through, Taiwanese shaved ice has layers of flavor -- creamy on top, brown sugar in the middle, and refreshing plain ice at the bottom. Super cute place to get treats and boba. My daughter has wanted to try boba for a bit now and we decided to stop in here and see what they had to offer. The place is super cute and airy. We popped in on a Sunday afternoon and there was two other folks there. You can order on your own via a kiosk or at the counter. We had a black sugar boba milk tea. They only come in one size, so come thirsty. Boba is an experience...a drink with bits to chew on. My daughter was on the fence about liking it. We also ordered a chocolate egg waffle...delicious. New tea spot!! I love this location because they're so much parking. It's right next to fiction coffee, across the street from Crabtree mall. The boba pearls were some of the best I've had. Not overly sweet and the texture is perfect. I got jasmine milk tea half sweet and it was perfect. I love all the different types of treats they have, from shaved ice to egg waffles, and more classic Chinese dishes, like red bean soup. They also have one of the cotton candy machines! Atmosphere: Meet Fresh's Raleigh location is bright and clean. There are several tables inside, but it can get pretty busy especially on weekends. For the space, there definitely could be more seating options, so we hope they add more tables/chairs in the future as they expand! Service: Our server was friendly, and our dessert was ready in ~20 minutes. Food: We ordered the Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. Compared to other Meet Fresh locations, we felt that there was less shaved ice given this time around, but we actually appreciated the proportion of ice to toppings. Maybe the ice was a bit more chunky than expected, but it still mixed well with the syrup and milk. All of the toppings were delicious, with our favorite being the chewy Q mochi. The dessert easily fed our group of 4! Overall: Meet Fresh is a reliable option for dessert with lots of menu items to choose from! Go for the shaved icecream! We have shaved ice, boba milk and waffle. The owner is taiwanese but the menu gives me the hongkong vibes. Shaved mango like xuliushan and waffle like the typical hk street waffles. Kids like the shaved ice and waffle. It was my daughter's birthday and we wanted to experience something new. We had a bit of difficulty finding it because it's tucked in a building out of the way. There's a cute boba statue outside and two cute statues inside for photo ops. The cafe is very brightly lit and clean. The employees are so nice and answer questions you have. Brown sugar boba is always my go-to but they had black sugar boba. We ordered two, plus the chocolate deluxe egg waffle. My husband loved the dessert. My daughter and I didn't really like the boba because it wasn't very sweet...it tasted more like black tea. That's my problem though, not a reflection of the business. Our favorite thing was the cotton candy machine! It takes cash only but the cashier can ring you up for $5 and give you the cash to put in it. It's really cool watching it being made! Stopped by this location of meet fresh for their grand opening week and was overall pretty content with my experience. Food/ I ordered 2 taro ball pudding with extra taro balls, but noticed the cashier entered extra mini taro balls instead + only added the mini taro balls to one cup and forgot on the other :( (minus .5 point) Also ordered a signature grass jelly and the promo $1 milk tea. Overall the taro balls were consistent and the tofu was good! Only discontent over my missing extra taro balls that we paid extra for. Service/ Service was good for the most part - granted it was grand opening, some disorganization is expected. Ambiance/ There's ample seating and a parking deck in the back. This location is very well lit and more modern in comparison to the chapel hill location. Overall/ Will be back! But a bit sad about the missing taro balls. read more

The drinks were amazing--we ordered the lychee lemonade and iced lavender latte. One of their menu items is enough for two people's snack. This place was awesome, we'll be coming again!! I pulled up to Waves Shave Ice in Holly Springs, ready to cool down and live my best life. Instead, I got a front-row seat to a sweaty comedy. Stood in line for over 60 minutes under the blazing sun -- no shade, no misting fans, not even a warning flare. Then, just as I get close to the window... "Sorry, our ice machine just broke." Ma'am. Sir. ONE ice machine? In the peak of summer? With this kind of traffic? Y'all need at least two, maybe even three. This place is too popular to be operating like a home kitchen with one blender on life support. They need to treat this like a concert venue, not a lemonade stand. Invest in backup machines -- or at least an emotional support popsicle for the folks in line. I left hotter than I came, spiritually and physically. All I got was disappointment and a tan line and am chocolate already.
