Kawaii-cuuuuuuuuutte!!! Visited Apex, NC recently and was searching for a place to have boba tea, so came here not only because they serve boba tea but they also offer egg tarts! It's been over a year having good egg tarts since living in DFW, of course I was drawn to this place. I think I underestimated how my reaction would be once walking in the front door. Boom! Sanrio-Cuuuuuuuutttee!! It's pink, it's adorable, merchandise available for purchase, and there are games for patrons to play at each table. They offer a variety of delicious treats and desserts; I wish I could have sampled each one. But we ordered our boba teas and egg tarts. Mango fruit tea was refreshing and I loved having mango chunks too. Brown Sugar Milk Tea became a favorite for one member of our party (who had reservations about boba tea at first) Egg tart was sweet and delicious; the pastry nice and flaky. Been a while since having one. Great place to visit for locals, definitely saving this spot to visit again when we return!

best dessert in nc. So good the egg tart is still hot and the blueberry cake was so nice

More Tea is now open in Apex and it is a cute spot. It was a chocolate milk tea with boba for my husband and a lemon & strawberry fruit tea for me and we also split one of the mango mille crepes. The drinks and dessert were both good.

This is probably the cutest place in Apex from the moment you set foot to home. Before you enter, you get to see their window art and also take a menu. Once you get it, you'll be attacked by all cuteness and you might look an anime character with hearts for eyesliterally! I probably looked like Serena from Sailor Moon the moment I walked in. I was so distracted that I didn't know what to look at and I couldn't focus on what I want to order. The cakes all look delicious and I wanted to get all but I told myself only one is enough for today. I will have to come back if I like it. Well, I will definitely come back! The Cotton Cloud is soooooooooo delicious! It was like a cloud meaning it melts in your mouth, the sweetness is perfection, not sweet, very pleasing to the eyes, and moist. It's like a cheese cake without being too dense. It came with a caramel sauce to sweeten it up but I didn't need it. The sauce is creamy and not overly sweet. I want to try the others next time. Also, it came with a cute pink spork, decorated container, and the brown wax paper was so cute too. All of that was packed in a cute plastic bag with a bear. For the drink, I got the taro milk cap, 30%sugar. It was nice but since I got the last bit of boba, my boba wasn't as soft as I would like them to be. They offered me to wait or add another topping and I get the pudding. I love pudding and I couldn't wait 15mins since my baby didn't want me to. The pudding was nice but breaks up easily and it's not jelly like some places. Since the days are getting cooler, I will definitely be back for a warm drink if I don't get too distracted. I might order a cake too. So, if you are stuck in traffic on Rte 1 or on William St, stop by at this boba shop to relax before hitting the road. You might be seeing pink and be happy on the road. I went back today and got the combo. Egg tart is amazing, flaky crust with a light silky custard that melts in your mouth. Soooooo good!

Nice to know they make cakes too

Boba tea has finally made its way to southern Apex! Glad to see this open up in the shopping plaza next to Dunkin & the old Hwy 55. More Tea offers more than just bubble tea...they also have some delicious looking Asian style cakes! Service was very good, helpful and attentive. There's lots of seating inside & it's the perfect place to linger and play some games (available on the tables) while enjoying your teas and treats. Teas are very good as they can customize to your level of sweetness.

Great service, delicious boba, and such cute decorations! Will definitely be back to try different teas and smoothies. I got the strawberry ice cream smoothie and it was delicious

I love this place and the tea is sooo good! The server that we had was so great and she let us sample somethings we were sure about. The place in general is so cute and the ambiance is really nice! It's so cute in here and we love to come here all the time!!

They have a variety of milk teas from cold to hot with many flavors to choose from. You can also grab some bakery while you enjoy your tea. The atmosphere is very well maintained and designed with plenty of parking. First, the egg tarts are next level. Go get 2, 1 won't be enough. The other bakery/crepe items are also great. We tried one of the cheesecakes and a Mille Crepe and both were great. The drinks are good. I've had a lot of similar drinks so I won't pretend these stand out much, however I was glad they weren't overly sweet (which is commonly an issue with a lot of local shops). Their presentation is so Instagram-worthy, you'll find yourself snapping pictures left and right just to capture their sheer beauty. The atmosphere was very calming and happy while the staff was pleasant and friendly. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a spotlessly clean environment, adorned with the most adorable pink decorations and an abundance of plushies. We have been anticipating the opening for weeks. We drove by and saw they we're finally open so we had to try. OMG the interior is so adorable and cheerful. It instantly puts you in a good mood. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and it was delicious. I wanted a second one but must wait until tomorrow.

Very cute place and very nice tea. I love the fruit tea most. The service was really kind also.

I am shocked I have not yet written a review for Boba Baba, when I go all the time!…read more I am a huge fan of their strawberry matcha, and more recently, of their butterfly fresca! Both drinks are delicious, and bonus points for also offering lactose-free/plant milk! But be warned, they do not offer the plant milk for certain drinks, since some are pre-mixed. Definitely ask before ordering! I would also highly recommend the puff pastries and mochi donuts! I had to search through my photos to find my favs: the ube puff pastry & the strawberry mochi donut. The puff pastry is a large portion, and heavier, so you can definitely share. The mochi donut is nice and light, so these are better to get more than one flavor to try.

Living in NC,…read morethere really isn't an abundant amount of boba places to venture to, but it seems like this place is highly recommended by college students and local boba enthusiasts. Being so used to many boba options back in CA, it kind of makes it feel weird to struggle to find a boba place nearby. The location is pretty convenient for college kids or adults to chill with friends. Lots of tables and even a shelf with some board games you could play if you had an hour or two to pass in the area. I can't remember the name of the drink, but I remember it having butterfly pea and lemon... or yuzu. Drink is aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not sure if I tasted what the drink mentioned. Still, nice attempt at being trendy with the boba menu. Maybe they're known for their milk teas here? It was quite busy when we can on a Saturday evening before closing. :) Drinks took around 10 ish minutes to make, but staff were quick to take orders and make drinks. If I remember correctly, there were two people working that day-- least in the front!

We ordered something we've never ordered in a Kung Fu Tea before: Brown Sugar milktea. This particular Kung Fu Tea spot is in a fantastic location, next to our favorite ramen spot, Miso Ramen Bar. My girl ordered 1 we'd share while we finish our meal. Feng Cha in Morrisville was about to close so Kung Fu was the only milktea place we can get one by 9 PM. The texture of the boba is perfect, and the amount is well-balanced for a $6+ milktea. My first sip of the milktea itself didn't last a great impression, however. While I can smell the fragrant smell of freshly-brewed tea, I could barely taste the brown sugar flavor and the milktea doesn't taste as creamy as Feng Cha's or Milklab's. Even Tiger Sugar near H-Mart served better quality brown sugar milktea but it's slightly better than Breco Tea's disappointing Brown Sugar milktea. In other words: This milktea is average compared to other Brown Sugar milkteas we've tried. My girl loves its aroma and she says it's not bad. Customer service is fast: Barrista was able to serve our drink in less than 5 minutes. Ambiance is fine, place looked clean. Overall, I see Kung Fu Tea Cary as the McDonald's of the milktea industry - franchise looks as strong as Quickly's. and it'll be enjoyable to a casual milktea customer. But why settle for average when there are other milktea spots that can offer higher quality blends for about the same price?

First pass through produce and I'm already mentally planning three meals. Chinese broccoli (gai lan), Green papayas, Green mangoes, Garlic chives, Thai eggplants, culantro--stacked like they knew I was coming. And then the unexpected jackpot: baby mangoes. Not something you casually stumble upon, and definitely the kind of find. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate given how deep the inventory goes. Only tiny hiccup: no Thai basil on this visit. Not a dealbreaker, but the one missing piece in an otherwise near-perfect haul. (I'll forgive it this time because... baby mangoes.)

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.

Their light bites are quite tasty, and I especially enjoy their phyllo-dough pastries. Their latte options are great--the flavors are creative yet still approachable, and the syrup options are delicious. Service is attentive and efficient. There's always a big team behind the counter, and instead of calling names, they give you a number and bring food or drinks directly to your table, which is so thoughtful! They can get quite busy at times - lots of families and big groups stop by to hang out. I enjoy the community it brings, though sometimes this is not the most ideal place to get work done.
