Great service on a packed Friday night and the cocktails were on point! I had the old fashioned (no smoke) and it was perfect. My husband had the Sombra Rioja and it was the perfect combination of smoke and spice, great for mezcal lovers. read more

Very short Old Fashioned, very grumpy service. Cute idea, cool place. But the vibe and the value for your money needs improvement.

A friend of mine visited here last summer and recommended it whenever I was in Apex. I never go to Apex. Until a friend's meetup group scheduled an afternoon "let's have cocktails all afternoon" Friday. Yup, count me in! I got there right at the appointed time, and the early birds were already halfway into their wine. There is a large patio area outside with chairs and tables in small groups. A sunshade and some nicely placed trees help a little There are a few 2- and 4-tops scattered around as you enter. To the left is a large square bar that projects into the room. Behind it is a veritable library of liquors, towering to the ceiling, which is about 9-10 feet high. Seeing the bartender climb up the sliding ladder and fetch a spirit was part of the show. Further to the left are two seating areas with round tables. We had one of these. The Cabernet proved to be the darling of the group (I think we had three bottles and a few extra glasses, but no one was counting! There were eight of us, so don't think we're a bunch of drunks!) I had looked over the menu online and started with the "Up in Flames". It's a Tiki drink, served with a squeezed lime shell garnish that has a sugar cube and some kind of liquor in it. The waiter lights it while still on the tray, and then sprinkles in cinnamon, which sparkles into the drink. He then extinguishes the flame and serves it. It was quite a show and very delicious! If I ever go and sit outside, I'm going to film it! After a bit, we were getting hungry, so food started appearing. The fig & prosciutto flatbread arrived first, (with a single plate and napkin). It was a 12" x 6" flatbread spread with honey, figs, prosciutto, chèvre, and arugula. Another of these came out later. Quite delicious. Someone else had the nachos, which they said were amazing. After asking, the server brought out more plates and napkins. Other cocktails that we tried and enjoyed were the Perro Perdito (Lost Dog) and the Drastic Measures. The Mango-chili shrub in this one packed a bit more heat than the Jalapeño dip! But it was tasty, with the salt/tajin half-rim. After a few hours of fun food and drink and a lot of laughter, we decided to release our hold on the table. The dinner crowd was champing at the bit to take over, and we were pretty sated. Everyone was safe to drive, so we hugged all around and parted ways, well fed and better friends. Thanks, N&S. You may drag me back to Apex again any time!! read more

We had gone there a while ago & finally have the chance to put our experience into words. What a great & much needed concept for this area! It has a fun neighborhood bar vibe perfect for hanging out with friends or a date night. Service was helpful, friendly & efficient. The drinks were so innovative and so good! The espresso martini was a hot seller & with good reason. My Thai cocktail packed a punch with the heat factor. The dessert board was a fun albeit messy concept. read more

Can't complain. The place is well appointed and darling. The drinks are creative and carefully crafted. The cheese plate is delightful with a wide range of cheeses--I'd suggest they tell you what the cheeses are for future ways to elevate the experience. The server was knowledgeable and answered questions well. I'd certainly go again. read more

Amazing cocktails and atmosphere. Service was great and very friendly. Will definitely be going back to explore more of their menu.

Scratch Kitchen and Taproom now has a cocktail lounge across the hall from their restaurant. My husband and I stopped in to try the cocktails and split a dessert. For drinks we tried the below and split the khalua cake: Round 1 - Up in Flames and Divine Feminine Round 2 - Perry Perdido and Rum Pecan Old Fashioned Round 3 - Chai Espresso Martini and Drastic Measures My husbands favorite was the Perry Perdido and mine was the Divine Feminine but all of the cocktails were good and so was the dessert. Always a great spot! I love their drinks and desserts! Everything is always fast and delicious. Service has always been great too!

It was our first time trialing N&S, although we had been talking about stopping in for a while. The facility itself is a blend reminiscent of a speak easy and literary lounge. Part of why we were drawn to this spot is the aesthetics, but the drinks were pretty good as well. They offer a fun cocktail menus with a few beers and wines. If you're a hard seltzer drinker, this may not be the place for you, as the emphasis is more on their mixed drinks. I appreciate the option for mocktails which were tasty and every bit as wonderful as the cocktails. Great atmosphere to have a relaxed hangout with friends. The bartenders were super nice and made the drinks fresh, squeezing the fruit for the juice as they go. I would definitely recommend. read more

COZY. A. F. Will be back for a date night. The rest of these characters are to meet the Yelp minimum.

Cozy place to meet friends and enjoy drinks. Located across from scratch kitchen, you will find this hidden little gem in the heart of Apex. Stopped in on a Sunday to grab drinks and enjoy a charcuterie board. Loved the ambience and quick service. They have a small but nice menu. read more

Lawdy, y'all need to try this little bar with big flavor. It's next to Scratch Kitchen in Apex. It's a GORGEOUS bar with balanced, inventive cocktails + bar snacks. We had a twist on tiki drinks, pisco sour and an old fashioned. All were order again good! We got the meat charcuterie board. Not a ton of gluten-free or dairy-free snacks, but it's a bar. It has cute seating inside plus nice seating outside for a delightful evening. Parking is accessible in the lot behind the building or across the street. I literally can't wait to go back. It was such a dreamy spot. read more

Great service, pleasant and welcoming staff. Cute place and comfortable seating inside and outside. It gets very busy. I enjoyed a French 75 on the patio. I look forward to returning to enjoy this cozy space and to try some of the dessert offerings on my next visit. read more

While it's such a cute location and I loved the decor, it does not make up for being severely understaffed, poor service and sub par food. Meat and cheese board was meager. it was missing items that were advertised in the menu. The apple crisp was abysmal. the best description I can offer is a bowl of grape nuts covered with limp room temperature apples and ice cream that I had to chisel out of the small bowl that accompanied it. we never received our waters or any silverware and had to ask for napkins. the menu advertised a lager and my husband was given a light beer. I truly felt sorry for the folks working. they were overwhelmed. I was very disappointed in this experience. read more

This cocktail and dessert bar is a very welcome addition to downtown Apex. It serves a purpose for both pre and post dinner or is just a decent place to catch up with a friend or 2. It is fairly small but you can also sit outside. I didn't try any desserts since I was full from dinner but my husband and I each tried a cocktail. He had the up in flames (see video) which comes with a cool presentation. It didn't quite pack the flavors one would expect from a tiki drink and was a bit on the sweeter side. Overall decent drink but there is room for improvement. My chai espresso martini was delicious but other smelling a bit like chai, didn't taste much like chai. I did come here on a Friday night so it was busy which made it a little confusing. We found seats but weren't sure if we would be served or if we had to order from the bar ourselves. We placed our own drink order but someone did eventually come around and offer us menus. I would say on a busier night it's best to order yourself from the bar. I definitely want to return and try more drinks and some food! read more

A great place for a pre-dinner cocktail or night cap. The Old Fashioned for two never disappoints.

Highly recommend. Cozy atmosphere, classy cocktails. Perfect for date night or just another Tuesday.

Neat and Sweet had amaaaaazing food! Their butter board and cheese board was so good. Cheese fondue was so yummmm; I think they mixed a few cheeses... Crème brûlée and chocolate mouse desserts were full of flavor, but if I had to pick one get crème brûlée. Ambience was also on point with indoor and outdoor seating. Service also quick and the servers kept checking in on us. As for drinks, they had a nice selection of cocktails, mocktails, wine and others. I tried the "divine feminine" and "up in flames", both were so good but would prefer "divine feminine" over the other. Highly recommend! read more

Although I have been to the restaurant, scratch several times, silly me, never looked over my shoulder and realized that they have a lounge on the other side of the hallway. I visited there recently with a date, and the ambience was really quite nice! Very comfortable with a wide array of types of seating from Armchairs and couches to high tops and bar seats. I ordered wine and my date ordered a cocktail and both were quite good and I found both the server in the bartender were quite a attentive and circle back to make sure that what we ordered was to our liking. I would definitely return again and recommend this place The only negative... It does not have great acoustics, and they were three or four guys sitting on the couch rather loud, and they drowned out our conversation on more than a couple of occasions. However, I would not hold that against the establishment. read more

We stopped in for drinks after dinner. It's a cozy little place with comfy seating and a few small high top tables. Our service was great and so was my cocktail. I'd go back. No one was sitting at the bar. The bar stools are cute, but with no backs on them, not very inviting. If I had to sit at the bar because nothing else was available I wouldn't be there for more than one drink. read more

Everything was great! We had the tuna nachos and caprese flatbread, and a few cocktails. Enjoyed every bit of it. I'll definitely come back.

Amazing cocktail lounge, that's exactly what Apex has been missing. It is opposite to Scratch Kitchen and Taproom, the atmosphere is great, love the decor. We had several cocktails and all tasted good. Menu looked good but we had just eaten so we decided to have kahlua cake for dessert, it was perfect for sharing. Service was great and we will definitely be back. read more

Really cute cocktail bar! Had the smoked old fashioned and it was delicious. Can't wait to go again.

This new gem across from & tied to Scratch feels like a small hideaway except for the noise when large parties are in full swing. Otherwise the artful chandeliers and shabby chic decor with central rustic bar makes you feel right at home in a best friends living room kind of way! The drink names and ingredients are genuinely paired and service is top notch. Def a cute spot for GNO or a date night read more
