I've been here several times and always had great drinks and food, and the service is always impeccable!! Tonight, Rachel helped me choose food and approved of my selection of drink. I sat outside in the cool early fall dusk as the trivia game geared up. There's cornhole for those who want it, and they were fully into Spooky Season. The umbrellas were all folded down, and there were more than a few folks outside. It's a nice little patio. The planters all around define it nicely. read more

Cute craft bar with great food options... My friend wanted to check this place out since she recently moved to the area and I decided to join her and I'm glad I did. The bar inside is small, but makes for a more intimate and cozy experience. There's also a large patio, but it was raining the day that we visited. There's also plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. When we entered there was only 2 other patrons in the bar and we decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted immediately and handed menus. There was a cocktail menu as well as a food menu from V Pizza. The drinks were delicious and perfect! The bartenders were great at their jobs. For food, we ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza to share and I ordered an Italian Salad with the Balsamic dressing....both were DELICIOUS!!! I will definitely be back! Great food, drinks, and service! read more

Calm, cool, collected- this is how I would describe this small but intimate bar in Brier Creek. Flask has been on my radar since they were mentioned for best cocktail bar in Raleigh magazine. I sat at the bar with a GF who loves mixology and enjoys a good craft cocktail. After making our selections, we were impressed by the spirits and ingredients used to make our cocktails. We appreciated how knowledgeable the bartender was and how much we both enjoyed our cocktails. We paired our drinks with a pizza (made by V pizza which is adjacent/connected to the bar) that was just as good as the drinks were! It's patio season, so some folks were sitting outside which is a nice option this time of year! read more

Highly recommend- service, ambience, menu, location all fit perfectly for a great time.

Awesome service and a wide variety of yummy cocktails! Plus, they're attached to V Pizzeria so if you're hungry you can grab some good food to go with your drinks. Rico is the best bartender. Very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He never left us wanting. Every drink I tried was delicious. I look forward to going back to try some other cocktails on their menu. The First Impression was a fun drink made with charcoal powder. It's pretty to look at because it sparkles but it also tastes good. Give it a try! read more

I cannot believe I did not know that this hidden gem has been in my neighborhood for the past 3+ years!! Their cocktails are to-die-for! You can order pizza from Vs while enjoying your cocktail at Flask. I absolutely love for their red sangria that has Grand Mariner in it. Get the Hawaiian wings and the pizza!! read more

There's a new cocktail bar in town Briar Creek! Flask is located within the V Pizza restaurant. It features a full bar with patio seating. The bartenders were very friendly and aimed to please. Seating was plentiful and having the option to have a pizza dinner within feet of you prior to or after cocktails is a luxury. Check out Flask ! read more

I'm so glad to have a local and lovely cocktail bat within walking distance of my home! Flask is tucked away in a strip mall across from Planet Fitness and attached to V Pizza. I walked in and was not so warmly greeted by the bartender, but he made me an amazing cocktail in the Ben Smashed. Ben is a whiskey base with a hint of peach and mint all muddled together for a refreshing cocktail. It's just the right hint of sweet and savory. I could definitely have a couple more, but I stopped at one. Absolutely loving their outdoor space filled with tables and umbrellas. It was such a wonderful night to sit and read as the sun went down. I can see coming here again and trying another cocktail. Hopefully, the bartender will be warmer next time?!? read more

It is tucked away and the perfect place for a more quiet evening with a partner or friends. The food was great all around and I discovered my new favorite drink! If you like grapefruit try the Champagne Mami read more

Delicious cocktails and yummy pizza in a relaxed setting with great service - definitely recommend

Flask Cocktail Bar is open in Brier Creek. It shares building space with V Pizza's second location. My husband and I were able to try two cocktails while dining at V Pizza since they were having a private party and it was packed. It was the Home for Winter Break for me and Doctor's Orders for my husband. Both were great selections. We can't wait to return to try more once it's not as busy. read more

My date and I had the most wonderful experience last night enjoying wine and appetizers outdoors by the fire pit. The service was outstanding! Our server Anna did a triple duty as a bar tender, food server and fire pit tender. I would recommend this place to anyone. Five stars in my book! read more

Came here to grab a drink before grabbing some pizza next door. The inside is a little small and all tables were taken so we grabbed a drink at the bar and brought it into the pizza place next door. I got the Lighthouse drink and it was good. My spouse tried their dirty martini and asked for it extra dirty, and it was not. Not a ton of flavor for the time. She switched to an old fashioned for her second drink and she enjoyed it. Drinks took a while to get as well as it was busy but there were only two or three bartenders. Overall, decent place with interesting cocktails, but a little pricey (about 13/cocktail). I'd enjoy it in spring and fall when we can take advantage of the spacious outdoor seating. read more

Stopped in after Brunch upon a recommendation from a friend. The place was empty upon arrival with a few people arriving here and there during our stay. The drink menu is pretty good..decided to go with the Time and Place cocktail which was a Mezcal and Tequila blended drink. I thought that it was just the right amount of smoky from the mezcal and the heat from the peppercorns and the orange bitters rounded it out perfectly. My friend wanted to try out the wine selection, but it was extremely limited with many out of stock. I think the location of this place is a little hard to find, my GPS had me all over the place originally. Planning to come back with a group in a few weeks, to try the Pizza as well. I think with a little time, more advertisement, and addition of some better wines, this place can be great. read more

Definitely creative on the cocktail side - and I get the feeling the bartenders are more mixologists than bartenders. The food was meh - and some of it was literally served in plastic to-go containers which was really odd. With the trendy vibe they really need to up their food and presentation game - but still a solid experience. read more

The beauty of a bar and a classic cocktail with all the fixings of an absolutely fabulous pizza joint. Flask is cozy, only about a handful or so of tables, ample bar seating and usually about 2 bartenders but have no fear you will get what you came for. Their cocktail menu was crafted with love, with flavorful seasonal additions, I just love to peruse and find new favorites each time I visit. Did I mention that the entire menu from the adjoining V Pizza is available here? Now you don't have to sacrifice your drink for a slice. If you're looking for a craft cocktail great, they've got it. If you're looking for a beer to go with your pizza and a game of corn hole, they've also got it. The inside of flask is more dimly lit, more chill vibes and a stark contrast to the pizzeria next door - the share a wall and a kitchen but the vibes are very different. They also have a nice outside patio with ample seating and a cute mural wall. Welcome to Raleigh y'all. read more

Came here for a quick drink and ended up trying the pizza next door and I have no regrets. They have a seasonal drink menu with some pretty catchy names. The service was fast and the space had a cool vibe. Of this place had heaters on the patio they would definitely have a larger crowd. The pizza was great. Stayed basic with pepperoni. I would come back again read more

Great bar! It super hidden behind V Pizza. But it super cute. The bartenders are great! The drinks were super yummy.

We parked in the parking lot and it took us a quick second to find it. Cozy bar cute and high top seating area. We ordered several drinks and pizza. Service was somewhat slow. The drinks were fine. I would have liked to see more options for some of the classics. The drink I wanted Spring Breaker but they had no watermelon. I got a margarita, The God Father. These were nothing spectacular to me. They do have a mock cocktail section. We ate pizza that was serviced through V pizza. I did a review on V pizza, go check that out. We would possibly go back, if in the briar creek area. read more

Went there due to a flight delay at RDU and didn't regret it at all. Their signature cocktails are creative riffs on classic cocktails and the friendly bartenders enjoy themselves mixing their own creations. The place is on the noisy side due to the typical strip mall type of layout and construction. But hey, we will be back to check out a pizza with a cocktail. read more

Great, creative cocktails that surprised me. This bartender knows what he's doing; stop in here for sure.

Flask Cocktail Bar has delicious craft cocktails and you can order artisan pizza from V Pizza! They have a good selection of cocktails to choose from. Love this place! An awesome addition to Brier Creek. It's a great place to grab delicious, casual food while still getting drinks in a cocktail bar setting. The pizza is excellent and so are their drinks and wings. The staff works very hard but when it gets very busy in a Friday, it seems like they need more support. read more

It was a nice little hidden bar. I don't recommend it for a first date though. My old fashioned was excellent.

Great spot for good conversations and specialty cocktails. Friendly welcoming staff will greet you with a smile. Drinks are fresh and perfectly made, not too strong or weak perfect blend of ingredients. Can't wait to return. read more

Definitely needed something like this is Brier Creek. There is a wide assortment of specialty cocktails to choose from. Each week they let a bartender create something special to promote, which is super cool. Love the authenticity of everything. Really open vibe, the patio is massive and will be a huge hit once the weather warms up. Love that you can also dine here from their joint restaurant, V-Pizza. They had a huge selection of liquor to choose from, including some top shelf bourbons and tequilas. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Flask Cocktail Bar - super stocked bar! tons of liquor choices. - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Flask has potential. It sits in the corner of a strip mall off the beaten path and, while I have lived in the area for two years, have never encountered it due to the poor location. With some marketing help, more people could know about it and they could get more business. Flask is attached to V Pizza and you have access to the full food menu. The cocktails are great. Service levels, in my opinion, could be better. Wait staff are mostly younger men who tend to talk to one another and don't seem to be too attentive to customers. I had to chase my server multiple times. Overall, I like this place, and it has potential. But the vibe inside needs to improve and attention to detail from management should be addressed. read more

Cool spot that I tripped upon. Their wings are to die for and they take a lot of pride in their cocktail game.

As appropriately dressed new customers, I would expect a greeting from the bartender. Not! Let's review bartender skills 101: 1. Greet your customer...welcome, how was your day, how can I help you, here are the menus, let me know.... 2. Be attentive--ask if there is something they are looking for, make a suggestion of something you think they may like without being pushy 3. Continue to be attentive throughout their visit--if you're going to have customers enjoy themselves and return, they need to feel welcome, engage them in conversation, or at least acknowledge them in some way. 4. Don't have an in-depth discussion with another employee off to the side while ignoring your customer. Shop talk belongs in the kitchen, not in front of the customer. Our experience: 1. No 2. No 3. No 4. No After having a cocktail (oh, by the way, the cocktail was good), I had to interrupt the conversation the bartender was having with an employee to order a pizza. Then, I had to interrupt the conversation again to order another drink. This time I said, "Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I'd like to order another drink." The female employee said, "Oh, that's okay." My response was, "I'm the customer, I come first." She said, "That's okay, I'm leaving anyway." I said, "Good." Pizza was okay, too garlicy for our taste. If you can't figure it out, we won't be back. And, perhaps this conversation and behavior may be a good conversation for your next team meeting, titled, "How to lose a customer in 35 minutes, and maintain your status as a "best kept secret in Brier Creek"--no good word of mouth equals low traffic in the future. One last...this may have been a generational thing, which is doubly sad. read more

The drinks and atmosphere at Flask and V's are fun and easy. The challenge is the speed (or lack there of) of the service and consistency of the pizza. The bartenders make great drinks, but it is an easy 10+ minute wait. They just don't seem to have the sense of urgency to serve the customers. It's the same at V's. It's almost like the staff has tunnel vision and they only see what is right in front of them, rather than the needs of all the people at the restaurant. While waiting for our check for a simple cannoli (we had drinks that we waited for at the Flask bar), we saw several tables need to actually go inside to get their checks and pay them. This restaurant has table service. This should not be the case. I'm really not trying to give a bad review, but am hoping that someone from these establishments reads this and provides some training. read more

Good drinks. Bartenders inow what they are doing. Nice environment. Not your average bar. A nice place with well made drinks.

V Pizza is wonderful.............. but please don't waste your time with Flask. My wife and I went there because we heard it was a new bar. GREAT! When we got there we were greeted by a 21 year old bartender, which is fine. He brought us the cocktail menu and showed a lot of disappointment when I told him that we knew what we wanted. I ordered a Bud Light Draft which was served in a Belgian beer glass. Seemed a bit weird, but no worries. My wife ordered Kettle One on the rocks and I ordered Bulleit Rye on the rocks. Here is when we knew this wasn't going to work. The 21 year old MIXOLOGIST whips out a jigger and measures exactly 3/4 of an ounce of each, pours it into 2 rock glasses, and adds two HUGE ice cubes. Not 1 but 2. Have you ever seen less than an ounce of liquor in a rock glass with 2 HUGE ice cubes? It's laughable. My wife and I looked at each other and shook our heads. Anyway we finished our drinks (it took 2 sips) paid our tab and left. TAB WAS: Bud Light Draft: $6.00 Kettle One on the rocks: $8.00 Bulleit Rye on the rocks: $12.00 Taxes: $2.14 Total: $28.14 We had high-hopes for a new place in NW Raleigh, but teenie-tiny pours and grossly overpriced drinks doesn't work for me. read more

The service was poor.. me and my friends where judged the moment when sat down .. My friend order herself an margarita with Don Julio 1952 the first thing the bartender says "you know that's topself, I want to make sure you know because if you take it down and don't like the drink I'm gonna be mad".. he also repeated himself then adding "i need to make sure you are going to pay for this because it's $56". That was a completely inappropriate comment to make of course we going pay for our drinks.. This is the first bad experience I've had in brier creek. read more
