Great place to relax and shoot some pool. Bartenders are all very friendly. I spend way more time here than I should. Highly recommend.

Had Mother's Day brunch here and what a lovely experience!…read more The staff were all so friendly and our server was fantastic. So attentive and kind. The brunch was so good - excellent variety of options. The standouts were the balsamic dressing (best I've ever had!), the prime rib, the berries and cream French toast and the desserts! The mimosas were very good as well!

We were treated like royalty from the walk to the table till we walked out after dinner. For drinks i wanted a wine. Specifically grenache grape wine. The lovely sommelier said they only had a blend but still great from the cotes du rhone region. It was a nice compromise. We proceeded to order for our 3 year old, some buttered noodles. They were very bland with oily butter at the bottom. Maybe they could've seasoned it well? I ordered the crab cakes. They were phenomenal. Thier sauce was unique but maybe needed to be loser? It was buttery and delicious. My husband ordered the steak 104 south. It very underwhelming unfortunately for the price. Good, but not something going back for. Overall the service was impeccable, the food was decent, but i just don't know about coming back. It just feels like you can get better steak for about the same prices elsewhere. I would also suggest a different bread option.

The menu online as I write says the 12 oz. 28 day aged ribeye is $29.89 including grilled mushrooms, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. I recall being slightly disappointed that baked potatoes were no longer an option, but the food was so good, that was not an issue. Service was good, the food was good. I thought it was worthy of the occasion. I have been to this store on at least 6-8 previous visits, although I did not usually get steak. I usually got one of their sandwiches. I liked all those I've had. There is another CAH closer to me that gets terrible reviews. It's worth it to me to drive a little further and go to a store that has given me good food and service on multiple occasions.

Carolina Ale House Review - 3/5…read more It was our last day in town, and we wanted something quick while still getting a taste of some local favorites. Since Carolina Ale House was close to where we were staying, we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere definitely had that classic ale house vibe, with plenty of local beers on tap along with other familiar beer options. It felt like a nice casual spot to unwind and grab a bite. We all ordered something different, which was nice for variety. I had the hibachi shrimp, while the others had tacos with chips, and my son kept it simple with chicken tenders and fries. The food overall was okay, but my dish was a little disappointing. Everything on my plate--between the soup, pilaf rice, broccoli, and shrimp--seemed to carry almost the exact same flavor, so I didn't really get to enjoy the distinct hibachi taste I was expecting. One highlight for me was definitely the spicy margarita--the flavor was delicious. My husband also really enjoyed the "Ale Yeah" 16 oz. Bloody Mary along with one of the local North Carolina draft beers, which was a nice touch. Our server, Trevan, did a great job taking care of us. He was accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had what we needed throughout our visit, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3/5. It was a decent stop for a casual meal and drinks, but the food could have had a bit more flavor separation and wow factor

Highly recommend the Evil Noodles; zippy, spicy sauce, grill charred mushrooms and veggies and the super wide, pillowy rice noodles. I'm not a noodle expert, but they tasted/felt hand pulled; forgot to ask! I'd like to go back at least 20 times to try everything on the menu. They also have a group menu for private events and plenty of space to host a large group. We saw some of the family style dishes and sushi going by and it was first class.

For cocktails, we had the Silk Road and the Nightshade's Revival Barrel Aged cocktail. All the food felt fresh and was very flavorful. I used to dislike mango when I was young - I've since grown to be ok with it in my adulthood - but the Mango Tuna Crisp roll exceeded my expectations. The passion fruit definitely provided a nice contrast to the sweet mango that made it really delicious. Also, the spicy duck sauce with the spring rolls was a 10/10! That's the way I always want my duck sauce from now on. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars because the wait time for service and the check during our meal was very long. We came in when it wasn't busy and it became moderately busy while we were there, but it still was a long time between the times they checked in on our table.
