That said, unfortunately, during our visit, some of the dialogue from nearby regulars was disappointing, very rude, and imo racist. It definitely made us uncomfortable, which impacted our experience and led us to leave earlier than planned. I'm hoping this was an outlier for what is otherwise a great neighborhood spot. Oddly, they weren't really apologetic about it and were happy to charge me for a different (colder) beer, even though I'd only taken a couple of sips from the ale. I grabbed a 10 oz pour of the flagship IPA and hung out for a few minutes. Honestly, the beer was not my favorite (and didn't taste much like an IPA to me at least...) but I guess that's personal opinion :) The bartender was nice and the vibes were solid inside. Overall, there are a bunch of breweries in the Triangle, so I'm not sure I'd come back to this one as my first choice, but if a friend wanted to meet me here I wouldn't complain :)
