Nice bar! We went there for October fest. The flyer said 12 pm - 11 pm. Games, prizes and food. We got there at 4 pm - place was decorated great -festivities posted on the door stating at 6 pm- oh well! We had a beer- looking around the bar there were people and families playing board games- plenty of games on the wall for you to use. Plenty of seating inside and out. Our bartender was very nice, friendly and helpful. Drink Specials were priced out well. read more

I stopped in here with a buddy of mine because I had never heard of the place and I wanted to see what it was like. I wasn't familiar with one of the beers they had on tap and the bartender offered a sample, I drank about half the sample before realizing that there were chunks of something in with the beer. I notified the bartender and he confirmed that the beer was no good. I would probably give this place another try but really the bartender should be more aware of what he's serving. read more

Great selection of local brew pubs beers and national brands, lots of great wine selections and hard sodas etc. Very friendly staff and ownership, out to please you. If you're a Packer fan you've got to come watch the game with all the other cheese heads. Thursday nights is Trivia night come with your friends and complete as a team for prizes. We enjoyed our visit to Pourworks but I have a few minor complaints. The draft beers were 1-2 dollars overpriced and several options (when we visited) were high gravity so I opted for a half pour. I wish the cooler section had individual options available instead of stuff to purchase for home. I can't wait to return when it's warmer. There is a peaceful fountain outside, fun games and free entertainment from watching the fighters at Tapout next door. Great neighborhood spot. Always a varied selection of 10ish local beers and a few national options. Friendly bartenders, friendly owners, and a solid contingent of regulars. Especially great if you're a Packers fan but still great if you're not. Maybe Raleigh's "best kept secret" in that it's an awesome place but always seems a little emptier than you'd expect it to be. The location probably plays a role - tucked into the corner of a handful of retails options at an apartment complex. You'd have to know this place was here and seek it out - no foot traffic. I feel bad for them and hope they're still making money, but I suspect it's only a matter of time before finances catch up to them. So go to Pourworks! read more

Tucked away in the retail space of an apartment complex near the Costco area on Atlantic/Six Forks intersection, Pourworks offers a great space with craft beer & wine! The patio is super cozy with a big water feature & ambient Edison string-lights, and the complex is just far enough off the main intersection that traffic isn't too loud. They had bingo that night too, which was cool - and they're dog friendly! The inside is super cozy with industrial furniture, neat art (love the books), and lots of plants around the space. The bartender (Liz, I think) was super friendly & let us taste before we bought. I loved the Bond Brothers IPA, and Sara got a carrot-apple mimosa, which was unique. They had ~10 taps with a decent variety, but they were mostly imports - like only 2 local brews. I wish they had more local or rare/rarer beers on tap and in the cooler, but c'est la vie... still good beer though. I love this place. This was the closet place to my hotel. So location is great! It was a Saturday night so I thought it would be crowded and I wouldn't be able to find parking since it's street parking but for a Saturday night there was a good amount of parking. The inside and outside was super cute. There was live local musicians playing. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Speaking out the outdoor, they have corn hole, hanging lights, and a fountain. So serene outside if you just wanted a super chill night. The beer was so good. I only got IPA and ciders but they had a bunch of other kinds too. Also it's a dog friendly establishment. So I have been told how great Pourworks is! So I stopped by for a beer since I was scoping the place for a party. I walk up to the bar and the guy asks can he help me. I ordered a Belgian Ale. There was a 50% off star next the the price of $6. AFTER I ordered the beer, the bartender took the star off. I did not think much about it. Got ready to leave and laid a $5 bill. He said that will be $6 PLUS tax. I said the sign had 50% off. He said, "that was from yesterday, sorry." What a jerk. He said it will be $6.50. I gave him a $20 bill and then placed all the change in my pocket with no tip. I will not be back. read more

It's a beautiful space and there's a decent wine selection. The hours are weird because it doesn't open until 4 PM during the weekdays. They stay open until 10 PM during the weekdays - it's nice they don't close at 9 PM but they're also closed on Mondays. The bottle selection is very specific - international beers for the most part. If you're looking for a good bottled IPA, Saison, or sour, Pourworks is not the place for you. If you're trying to find a decent selection of Belgian beers, Pourworks is worth stopping by. The space is a bit small but it doesn't get crowded. If you're looking for a quiet night, don't go on Wednesdays because it's open mic night and it's very loud. If you want to play in front of a lot of people however, they have a guitar there and it'd be a good night for you to go. As a last note, the bartenders are very friendly. read more

Nestled in the corner of multi-use residential and retail complex in the Costco area is Pourworks. A bottle shop / beer and wine bar in one. My friends and I visited on a freezing cold evening, but we're happy that they had plenty of seating and the NFL playoffs on a couple TVs. Unfortunately, their stream is on a delay bit it sufficed. It's a cozy place with board games, cards, jenga, corn hole and more. I can see this place being busy during warmer months. The staff was friendly and kept our complimentary bowl of munchies filled (i.e. pretzels, Cheetos, Doritos, etc.) Their outdoor patio has seating and overlooks a nice fountain, which was a frozen ice rink on my visit. They had about 10 craft beers on tap and multiple wine options. One can also go pick from beer cans in their cooler or purchase a wine bottle from the shop. Overall it's your typical bottle shop / bar these days, and if you happen to be in the area, go grab a pint! read more

Obsessed with this place! The sign is small but it's right by The Manor at six forks. The location is perfect and convenient to everything, the people are SO kind and friendly. They have amazing specials that are constantly changing so there's always something new. TONS of beer and wine/champagne they have for purchase and take home is top notch. So many games to play (including giant Jenga) and grills for public use. ALSO yoga (free - donation only with drinks specials after) on Saturday's is EVERYTHING. They have live music and food trucks all the time, just check their page to see updated promotions. Trust me, the atmosphere is the best. I LOVE it here! Finally got a chance to stop in here and have a beer. It was a weekday just after work so it wasn't very busy. Draft selection was a good mix of NC beers, a cider, etc. The space is definitely designed for spending time there and having a few drinks with friends. They have bottles of beer and wine for sale, but the selection is pretty limited (about a quarter to half of your typical bottle shop). I was hoping for a bit more of that since they're close to home, but what they did have seemed to be more quality over quantity. I parked on the street in front, but I think there is a parking garage available. Overall, glad to have another nice option for a drink after work in the neighborhood. read more

I can't even begin to express how generous and down to earth the staff at Pourworks is. I contacted them a while ago about hosting a surprise party if they were open and asking if I could reserve a few tables. Since they weren't open yet, David agreed to open the bar and let me use the space while he was able to sell their beer, cider and wine. He went out of his way to make sure the guests were having a great time! The place is cozy and the drinks are mostly local. There is a gorgeous bar and a very comfortable area with couches that make it the perfect hang out spot. There aren't enough great things I could say about this place and it's staffing! It is truly a unique and fun bar and I cannot wait to be a regular when they open!!! read more

There are so many bars in Raleigh! It's great! However, there are few that make you feel at home. PourWorks is one of those that make you feel like you never left your childhood neighborhood. Best staff around is right here. It's at the Manor Apartments on the corner of Atlantic and E Six Forks Road. The Vue and the Avenues Apartments are a short walk away, so if you live at any of those 3 places I could not recommend a better place to grab some drinks. They have TVs always have the latest games on and if that's not your thing, they'll give you the remote and you can browse Netflix for your favorite show. They have bingo and mic nights. The beer selection is spectacular! The wine selection is just as good! They have a guitar hanging on a wall and anyone is welcome to share their talent any time of day. Plenty of card and board games. Giant Jenga outside. During the summer there's even a grill where you can BYOSteaks and cook out! Could not recommend a better or more chill bar in Raleigh. So come over, drink some beer, order your favorite pizza, or cook a meal and eat it at the bar, and have a few more beers. Hands down, best bar. read more
