We enjoyed our visit to Pourworks but I have a few minor complaints. The draft beers were 1-2 dollars overpriced and several options (when we visited) were high gravity so I opted for a half pour. I wish the cooler section had individual options available instead of stuff to purchase for home. I can't wait to return when it's warmer. There is a peaceful fountain outside, fun games and free entertainment from watching the fighters at Tapout next door. There are lots of events here, make sure you check out their website to see what is going on.

I love this place. This was the closet place to my hotel. So location is great! It was a Saturday night so I thought it would be crowded and I wouldn't be able to find parking since it's street parking but for a Saturday night there was a good amount of parking. The inside and outside was super cute. There was live local musicians playing. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Speaking out the outdoor, they have corn hole, hanging lights, and a fountain. So serene outside if you just wanted a super chill night. The beer was so good. I only got IPA and ciders but they had a bunch of other kinds too. Also it's a dog friendly establishment. Honestly what is better than beer, dogs, good music and company?

    It's a family affair

Always a good time!! Love hanging here!! Thursday's trivia night, Friday music bingo! Never disappoints

It's a beautiful space and there's a decent wine selection. The hours are weird because it doesn't open until 4 PM during the weekdays. They stay open until 10 PM during the weekdays - it's nice they don't close at 9 PM but they're also closed on Mondays. The bottle selection is very specific - international beers for the most part. If you're looking for a good bottled IPA, Saison, or sour, Pourworks is not the place for you. If you're trying to find a decent selection of Belgian beers, Pourworks is worth stopping by. The space is a bit small but it doesn't get crowded. If you're looking for a quiet night, don't go on Wednesdays because it's open mic night and it's very loud. If you want to play in front of a lot of people however, they have a guitar there and it'd be a good night for you to go. As a last note, the bartenders are very friendly.

Perfect little neighborhood bar and bottle shop. They're dog friendly and have a patio.

Obsessed with this place! The sign is small but it's right by The Manor at six forks. The location is perfect and convenient to everything, the people are SO kind and friendly. They have amazing specials that are constantly changing so there's always something new. TONS of beer and wine/champagne they have for purchase and take home is top notch. So many games to play (including giant Jenga) and grills for public use. ALSO yoga (free - donation only with drinks specials after) on Saturday's is EVERYTHING. They have live music and food trucks all the time, just check their page to see updated promotions. Trust me, the atmosphere is the best. I LOVE it here! BONUS - the whole place is dog friendly, inside and out!

Grilled oysters were phenomenal. Balance of briny deliciousness and spice complimented by grilled toast. The Charleston salad - I'm obsessed. I've never seen this in Charleston (SC) but need to make this a staple on my table. And the "fries" were a very generous helping of smashed fingerling potatoes with a spicy aioli. Absolutely delicious. I'd return in a heartbeat!

A cocktail described as "not too sweet" was cloyingly so. When it came time to order plates, our server seemed distracted and was unhelpful (eg, how would you like your eggs? Poached? No, we don't do that. / Do you have sour cream? No. What's that white cream on that plate? Yogurt. Can I have some? [No yogurt ever arrived.]) We tried a variety of offerings, including the shakshuka, monte cristo, shrimp & grits, and chicken & waffles. Shakshuka was very flavorful but the egg cookery sucked (easy came out hard). Monte cristo balance was off (too much jam to ham ratio). I didn't try the others, but the rest of the party seemed to enjoy them. Had to order additional maple syrup (for an extra charge) for the chicken and waffles. A second round of drinks took close to 40 minutes to come out, and then arrived wrong. We had to actively flag staff down to get a fix. Then we sat for a long time, after the table had been bused around us, waiting for the server to come back by. She attended other tables around us while we waived to her to get a check. She did not make eye contact or check in, and at one point was actively carrying on a conversation over my head with another table as she attempted to hand me our long-awaited check. All around, middling food and poor service. Won't be at the top of my brunch list.

The North Hills spot ( 4421 Six Forks Road in Raleigh, beside Total Wine) feels settled in the best way. Comfortable, Welcoming, Cozy. We started slowly. A wine flight. Truffle fries with truffle aioli, parmesan, oregano. Marinated olives layered with citrus and herbs. Nothing too over the top, but generous and satisfying. The kinds of plates you keep reaching for without realizing it. For dinner, we had the the NY Strip (North Carolina pasture-raised Angus with Diane sauce and a French onion potato gratin). And the roasted whole fish (with hazelnut gremolata, citrus beurre blanc, and confit sunchoke). Both cooked to perfection, nothing missing, and absolutely delicious. What stuck with us the most htough, the service. Ben and Oscar were sharp, attentive, and present without being overbearing. They made the evening feel even more incredible. Some places try hard to impress - Foxcroft Food & Wine just delivers (time and time again).

The business was clean and there is also a bar inside. The restaurant has a large selection of wines and offers flights for purchase. The restaurant had some people dining in but they were not overly packed. Initially our server was pleasant and attentive. I got a blood orange sparkling water. It was ok. I ordered the whipped ricotta for an appetizer to share and a burger with fries for my entree. The whipped ricotta was ok. It would taste better with some sort of seasoning in it. My fries were served hot but needed some salt. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done but I was brought a burnt burger. I took one bite but it was too overcooked. I then requested that my server have my burger be cooked medium well so I didn't get another burnt burger. When my burger was brought back out, our server had me cut into my burger to make sure it was to my liking. The preparation was better but it was bland and tasted like there wasn't any seasoning on it. After this our server wasn't as attentive anymore. For dessert we got the donuts. They were served warm and I enjoyed them with the cherry sauce. I did not like the chocolate sauce that was served with the donuts.
