When we arrived, we were seated right away and asked to choose our tea flavor. I loved that each person gets their own full pot of tea. It made the experience feel extra special. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with a fresh salad, followed by a beautiful three tier tray filled with sandwiches and desserts. From the scones to the bonbons and mini cakes, everything was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It truly felt like a full experience, not just a meal. If you are looking for something fun and a little different, I highly recommend trying the tea experience. And if that is not your thing, they also operate as a café where you can stop in and enjoy a treat without committing to the full tea service. Either way, it is definitely worth a visit!

The décor is absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent. We visited during Christmastime and truly loved the festive decorations. Our drinks were perfect and well-crafted. For dinner, we shared the chowder, which unfortunately was underwhelming--the croutons were the best part. We then ordered the chicken, salmon, and mashed potatoes. The salmon was dry, the chicken was on the bone with very little meat, and the mashed potatoes were surprisingly disappointing. I even took them home hoping I could improve them myself. I will likely return to the Tea Room because I enjoy supporting local businesses and genuinely like their drinks and small bites, but I would not come back for dinner.

It definitely has that tea room flair with lots of wild decorations. Wallpapers with cats and astronauts, snakes hidden in roses, silhouettes of famous people including Homer Simpson and Big Foot. I like it all. The dip du jour was the best part of our meal. They had a pulled pork with cheese and bourbon and Fritos the day we went...it was really good. As was our chai which I would hope they get that right since they are a tea room. They will bring you more hot water if you want to reuse your tea press to squeeze out a little more tea from your leaves. The 10 layer salad was definitely worth it as well, I think the pimiento cheese dressing puts it over the top. I got the seafood nachos and they were just okay--mostly nachos, very little filling . Girlfriend got the quiche and thought it was okay as well. She chose this place for the gluten-free options including the scone which she loved. They clearly indicate on the menu what is gluten free and understand the safety around it. Service was okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either. We haven't been back yet but we plan on coming once or twice a year to try out the seasonal menus as well as more teas and dip's du jour. I recommend it for smaller, less filling meals such as lunch.

5/5 - Bodega Understood the Assignment…read more We tried Bodega for dinner tonight, and this recommendation was an absolute WIN. From the cocktails to the small plates to dessert, this was one of those dinners where we just kept ordering things...and somehow they kept hitting. We started with drinks, and my dinner date ordered the Rum Old Fashioned--absolutely amazing. Smooth, well-balanced, and exactly the kind of cocktail you sip slowly because you actually want to enjoy it. I had the Orchard Sangria, and it was delicious! Light, fruity, refreshing, and not overly sweet. The fresh fruit made it even better, and it was one of those drinks that goes down very easily. I would absolutely order it again. Then we started working our way through the food, and this is where Bodega really shines. The concept is perfect for sharing, ordering a few different things, and letting the table slowly fill up with dishes. Everything was beautifully presented, and there were so many different flavors and textures happening that dinner felt like an experience rather than just a meal. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and seasoned, and the Peruvian chicken with pita was another standout. But that creamy crab dip with the toasted bread! Dangerous. The kind of dish where everyone keeps saying they're done and then somehow another piece of bread ends up in the dip. The lamb meatballs were beautifully presented and packed with flavor, with the sauces bringing everything together. Overall, there wasn't a dish on the table that felt like an afterthought. But apparently we decided we needed to finish STRONG. I ordered the Crème Brûlée Espressotini, and whoever decided crème brûlée and espresso martini belonged together deserves recognition. Rich, creamy, coffee-forward and indulgent without being too much--it was basically dessert in a cocktail glass. And then came the **brown butter pecan & pear pie! ** Rich, buttery, nutty, slightly gooey, and served with cream and that drizzle of sweetness around the plate--the pear kept it from becoming overly heavy, and the brown butter and pecan flavors were everything. I would absolutely order it again. Bodega gave us great cocktails, flavorful shareable dishes, beautiful presentation, and an ending that might have been the best part of the entire meal. This is definitely a place I'd come back to because there are still things on the menu I need to try. 5 stars. Get the Orchard Sangria, share a few plates, and whatever you do, save room for that pie and a Crème Brûlée Espressotini. 10/10 would recommend.
