The store is clean. The staff customer service needs improvements. I'm not greeted or acknowledged when entering the store. The cashier at the entryway stays focused on his phone, continuously scrolling without looking up. Considering this location and position of the cashier with the employee lack of attention this should be a safety concern, not just customer service. I didn't find a medium size non toxic Wok. I did find other non toxic pan options. At Home has a large selection here of everything your heart desires. I found the store to be well stocked and easy to shop as it wasn't crowded. The prices were reasonable for the items I purchased. I look forward to returning again. At checkout the individual at the front spoke and seems pleasant when I was leaving. This should be the approach when customers are arriving. read more

This s a great place to find all the festivity decorations for Halloween, Fall, Christmas, Easter etc. Plus they have a huge selection of rugs, furniture, household items, faux plants, etc. we have found many treasures here. The service is always good. We almost always see Barbara who is one of the cashiers. She is so sweet. Great prices and tons to choose from. Hard to control myself. read more

Huge home store with everything you can imagine. Beautifully organized. Be prepared..if you need a new rug for example, there aren't just a few isles of rugs...there are several isles and a few walls of rugs to choose from! No end to your options. Come here with enough time to really look through everything. They have a huge section especially for patio furniture and decor. My only complaint is the prices. A little bit priced above what I'd like to spend. Try to find a coupon and they do have clearance deals you can look through as well. read more

LOVE!!!! This store! This is an excellent one-stop shop for outdoor decorations, picture frames, holiday decorations, home decorating, organization and outdoor living. Need to buy or replace the cushions for your pool or patio furniture? This is THE place to shop. Their prices and the selection of styles is superior to any of the department and big-box home improvement stores. Furniture items like occasional tables, bar stools, nightstands, vanities and chests of drawers are competitively priced. Their selection of picture frames, mirrors and wall art is outstanding. Christmas? This is my favorite place in the Triangle for ornaments, trees, stockings, tree skirts, holiday-themed curios and outdoor decorations. Check here first for home organization. They have terrific gear to organize any closet, kitchen pantry and drawers. Customer service is quite good, although they don't seem to have people in service on the floor. I've had to go and get someone to help, but they always came quickly. The checkout lanes move fast and efficiently even during busy hours with long lines. Come in here just to browse if you love to shop. You can spend a couple of hours looking at their great merchandise, and get good ideas for future projects. read more

I've been here several times, and I'm just not a fan. I do not know why I keep coming back. Maybe I'm hoping I will find that perfect wall hanging for the perfect price, but no, that is usually not the case. I can usually find what I'm looking for here, but I usually find it for less $$ elsewhere. Overpriced and over/under-whelming. read more

Timing is everything At Home. You have to shop early in the season to find what you need. March/April is the time to shop for patio/deck cushions. Otherwise, you won't find enough matching cushions. While the store was a lot of variety to offer, customer service is nonexistent. The cashiers barely acknowledge you. I've noticed other stores have stepped up their game to make you feel appreciated and thank you for your business...At Home has not followed suite. read more

I bought a Christmas tree a day before it went on sale. I called to see how I get the sale price because most stores will just have you bring in the receipt. They wanted me to undecorated my tree, take the tree down and bring it back to the store to get the sale price. When I contacted corporate it took them 4-5 days with back and forth emails and I even submitted my receipt for them to tell me they would not honor the price because it was no longer on sale. I originally contacted them the day it went on sale and the sale price is a $70 difference. This is policy is awful and inconvenient or the customer because they know a customer is not going to undecorated a tree after decorating it beautifully. Will not be back at this store. read more

Nice Store! Customer service is horrible. My husband and I visit this store quite frequently and I can't ever think of a time where the people there were friendly. I went there yesterday and had an issue with the wrong price being on an item, the issue didn't get resolved and the price wasn't honored. I reached out to corporate and I guess the person I spoke to listen to me and addressed the issue but I'm not sure. I went back there today to return the items I purchased yesterday because of how unprofessional they were to me, I shouldn't be spending my hard earned money at a place where the employees are so rude. Even when I did the return the cashier was even rude, I was very nice and bubbly to her and she was very dry in return, she hardly parted her lips to say good morning back to me. You can't even ask them a question, they try not to make eye contact with you just so they don't have to help you. The young lady Nylee(spelling?) was very rude to me yesterday and on another occasion and after getting home and telling my husband about it he told me he had been there and she was rude to him as well one time before. I'm think she supposed to be in management but she has no type of management skills what so ever. About 6 months ago there was a guy there that was the only friendly person that I've seen there and he's no longer there because I haven't seen him in awhile. I can't say that I blame him, I experienced the manager be mean to him and tell him right in front of me that his fmla paperwork doesn't matter and she didn't care what it said. I felt so bad for him and told him there are resources out there that are there for employees, it's called NCDOL, they are there to help you the employee and the employer. I see why the turnover rate is so high there. If you don't mind the drive, go to the Durham location, they are so pleasant and nice, they don't make you feel like a burden. read more

Coupons must say how many times you can use them whether they are store use or email use. Literally had to stand and argue with two young women today basically about how coupons work. I can't stand this younger generation. You try to tell them how things are and they just don't listen. Tell management to fix their coupons to say one use only otherwise it doesn't matter what you were taught it's incorrect . read more

My store never got in the size, 8x10, that I needed of this area rug. The store employee said she checked and it would be in a week. 4 weeks of checking I finally just ordered it online and paid for a delivery. It came today and it was in a middle aged woman's small station wagon and she says I can not get it out. I said I am 70 and I can not lift it...she looked over at my husband and I said oh no my husband is fighting unopertable liver cancer and I will not ask him...he is very weak. She just stared at me. My husband came over and said I will get it. He got it done but it took everything he had and he was exhausted and took many many stops and sitting down. I called the store...in Raleigh on Capital...and they said it was a delivery service they hire so they have no control and I said the proper thing to say is I will...or corporate will be notified and the delivery company made aware of the situation. Someone could have been hurt and my husband should not have had to do this! read more

In general I like this store. You can find a lot of cool home decor that you wouldn't see in most places. I tend to gravitate towards the home organization section. I love my latest purchase (pictured). It's the little things that make you happy! I tend to find things there that I ultimately use for purposes outside of their intend purposes. Many times you can find reasonably priced items, but sometimes I think their furniture can be a little overpriced. I did have an issue with returning an item. I had purchased a stool and when I got home I clipped off the plastic ring with the tag and ultimately I found that the stool was too short for what I needed. When I went to return it I was given a hard time because they said "it was no longer in its original packaging" because I had clipped off the tag. I thought this was a little over-the-top because it's not like it had come in a box and I had torn the box to the point where it was unusable. They have a gun to put a new tag on. Check it out but just be careful with the packaging in case you need to return something. read more

Look on the price tag for a red stripe! That means your item is 50% off. A green stripe means 25% off. Everything you can think of for your home is here, and the prices and quality are good, even when something isn't on clearance. We found lots of planters and outdoor accessories, kitchen and dining items, pillows, curtains, towels, sheets, comforters, storage, lamps, wall hangings, furniture and a few things for pets. Whew! On a recent Saturday the lines were long, and an associate didn't know where to find something I needed. The parking lot is huge, though, and the store and bathrooms are clean. read more

At Home is a really good store to have find just about anything thing you need for specific holidays. Today I had to run in and pick up candles. The store was easy to get through and everything was organized. The parking was great because it's in a huge parking lot. I've been to the bathroom once and they weren't bad. The only downside about this location is that you can never find anybody around to help and every time I've come there has been a long wait for the line. The line is literally wrapped around corner. They have a huge chip + candy collection you can find candy in the store that's not in gas stations or grocery stores. Overall I like the store. read more

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I'll NEVER shop here again. Piss poor management. My mother and I stood in line with 4 items, in a line backed up all the way down the length of the store. Some woman with an overflowing cart full of items jumped in line in front of us about halfway through claiming she was with the person in front of us, although they weren't in line together for at least the first 10 minutes we were in line. We told the lady she would not be jumping in front of us and she refused to get in the back, so we complained to a manager. The manager did nothing but make up excuses, and so when we took back our place in line by going ahead of the ladies who jumped the line - then we, the paying customers who had done nothing wrong to begin with, were asked to leave. Your store employees need to learn what right and wrong is, and then they need to learn how to handle those situations. Allowing customers to jump in line when the line takes 30 minutes is absolutely appalling, and their reasons or execuses for doing it are irrelevant. If you need to continue shopping while one person holds your place in line, then you shouldn't be in line. read more

Don't bother! This used to be a decent store but recently policies have changed, and they are no longer customer friendly. Although they track your purchases you must produce their coupon to participate in a sale. If you return merchandise you will be refunded the current price even if it is not a holiday item. Watch your receipts because the price on the item isn't necessarily the price you will be charged! What few clerks they have are snarky. The store is a mess, aisles are blocked with carts of merchandise to be restocked and its generally a fail. Lines are unnecessarily long and management doesn't seem to exist. I have been a customer for several years but I won't be in the future. read more

This is the first time I've been to an At Home store. We were in search of bar chairs for our kitchen island. There was a good assortment and we found some we liked at a reasonable price. The store itself is huge. They have a ton of inventory that spans both indoor and outdoor living. Patio furniture and cushions, chairs, rugs, wall decor and mirrors and so on. I've actually never seen so many dog beds all in one place, kinda crazy. While the selection is enormous the quality and price of some things leave me with questions. I saw items that seemed cheap/of lesser quality and the prices a bit higher than I would expect. There weren't too many obvious brand names which makes me skeptical. My advice would be to take your time and inspect the pieces you plan to buy. Do your due diligence to ensure you are getting a fair price for the items you want. It can be an overwhelming store by sheer size but fun to hunt around. read more

Really neat home store! I have been on the hunt for decently priced outdoor planners and At Home is really the place to go. Their selection was larger than anywhere I have looked before and their prices were quite reasonable. The store is huge so it is easy to get a bit overwhelmed. But, if you are looking for something in particular you can kind of zero in on your shopping list and get in and out of there fairly quickly. There was an issue with a pot being stuck in another part and the manager of the store didn't really seem too concerned about it. Eventually they were able to flag down enough employees to make the situation work. I headed in on a weekday during my lunch break and there was a fairly long line so I image on the weekend you should know to expect a wait to checkout. read more

I recently visited here as the name had changed from "Garden Ridge" to "At Home" so I was curious if it was a new store or not. Same store, new name. This place is kind of Home Goods meets Big Lots. It has a ton of stuff for your home, but it is all kind of cheap stuff. So if you're looking for price over quality then stop on in. I probably wouldn't furnish my whole house from here, but there were definitely some odds and ends items that looked appealing. I also saw some stuff that made me really wonder what kind of person would have that in their home. read more

Absolute worst shopping experience I've ever had. If I could've given it 0 stars, I would have. The selection for the prices offered was decent enough, though I can't say much for the quality. But the customer service was just atrocious. My boyfriend and I came to browse through furniture for our new home, when we stumbled across a few counter stools we wanted to check out. We couldn't find anyone on the floor, so I went to ask someone at the registers if they could call for assistance. She groaned, not even trying to hide her annoyance and rolled her eyes at me before picking up her walkie-talkie to ring the floor staff. After that, we waited for 15-20 minutes; no one showed up. So we began to maneuver taking the furniture down ourselves. Upon finishing, it had been another 20 minutes and again, not a sign of any employees. We promptly made our way out. I'm usually pretty understanding of customer service mishaps, but this time, I just couldn't get over the outright poor attitude and total lack of assistance for shoppers. Now we'll know to take our business elsewhere. read more

My husband and I just bought our first home together. Being in our early 20s, we don't make a ton of money, so decorating funds are pretty tight. My best friend suggested we try going to At Home, because one of the first things we need is a few area rugs, and she said they have a pretty good selection. I'd say that's an understatement. Holy selection, Batman! This place is huge!! They had 8x10 rugs (the size we need) ranging from $59 all the way to $399. Of course, the quality ranged, too, but there's seriously something for everyone. We found two area rugs perfect for our budget and got out of there for less than $300, which was our seemingly unattainable budget (until we went to this place). I could not be happier. read more

Great prices, great quality products, my only complaint is the lack of an actual inventory system. If you don't see it on the shelf, they can't check if they have it or order it for you. But overall this place is probably the best it gets when it comes to home decor, you could literally bring a girl on a date here and they would not be upset, it's that good. Its huge and they have every aspect of home decor you could ever want. read more

Garden Ridge used to be my favorite store; however, I will not be shopping there again. Ever. My friend gave me a mirror for my birthday but when I tried to hang it on the wall, found out it was so terribly made that the frame wouldn't support the weight of it on the wall and it fell. I took it back to Garden Ridge and tried to return it. Of course I didn't have the receipt or the barcode on the mirror because it was a gift. They wouldn't take it (not even for store credit). What am I supposed to do with a mirror that can't be hung on the wall?! These people offer terrible customer service!! The managers were rude. My friend who gave me the gift came all the way down to the store to let them look up the item via the credit card she used. They found the other items she purchased that day, but said they couldn't find the mirror. I was there when she purchased it and I know she didn't steal it so somebody's not doing something right... Never try returning anything here you've received as a gift. I will never recommend this place to another person and will take my business to Target and the like. Thanks for nothing. read more

They have some items of interest at good prices but overall, the store has cheap stuff at middle of the road prices. The real problem is that they have TERRIBLE customer service. They cannot answer simple questions and behave as if you are interrupting them when you need to ask a question or try to check out. If they say thank you, you have received very special treatment. The few items that might make the trip worth it are not worth having to act like someone has done you a favor by taking your money. read more

This store several years ago was a good place but no longer. Even though they sell new items it is worse than a Dollar General store. There is no organization and junk is piled everywhere.
