I love this place. I ordered online for pick up and got 10% discount - what a bonus, considering they bring to your car They have a great selection of hard to find spices. They also have great clearance items. Their prices as on specialty food are within a dollar what it cost to buy from the actual small company (which charged shipping from California). They have a great selection of furniture and remind me of an updated pier one imports. Also, there are many unique items that would make good gifts. I am such a huge fan of World Market and this is a great location. They have such a great selection of stuff. I love their pillows and have definitely indulged in strawberry and watermelon outdoor pillows. :) They also have a great selection of snacks, which are great for small gifts or for your sweet tooth. Very disappointing experience here recently- World Market is doing 40% off their furniture until 11/30. My husband and I decided to buy four furniture items that we've had our eye on for a while. Three items shipped free. Fourth item, the round bookcase, has a $50 shopping surcharge so we opted to buy online and pick up at this store. Received the email that item was ready for pickup. What should have been a pleasant and easy experience was not - the cashier who handled my pickup order was very rude, very snippy and 100% should NOT be working with the public. She had a nasty attitude the minute I walked up to the register until I was done. Very unfortunate and frankly, second very rude employee we've experienced at this location. Not sure how the hiring process is here but they need to reassess. Spent $900 and got a nasty attitude and frankly don't plan on returning to this location again - I'll just shop on World Market's website from now on. read more

This is the kind of store you walk in and wish you were independently wealthy....at least I do. I have been shoppung at World Market for years....since I lived in Columbus OH actually. You can find bathroom, dining, office, furniture etc as well as food stuffs from all over the globe. The downer is....around the glibe ain't cheap. Sure...there are deals to be made here when you catch a great sale. You need to be very careful about your selections though because there is some stuff not of the greatest quality. I could get totally lost in this store just in the food area alone! This is where I can find hard to get treats from Britain that I love so much. Japanese candy. African coffee. I really could go on & on. Budgets are REQUIRED though if you decide to go because you will go over easily. Again...not inexpensive to shop here...but still worth it. read more

I love World Market! I have purchased items as small Canadian water to as big as my sofa. The space is always easy to maneuver. It's clean and the staff is always so nice! When I purchased my couch from there they were so helpful with making sure that I got it and putting it on hold for me until I could pick it up! I also think it's the best place to buy wine by the case. There is always a lot of parking unless you are there during busier hours and then you will have to park a little bit further back but the walk isn't bad. My bride decided she wanted to go to Old Navy to get school clothes for our little girl. Since I cannot stand Old Navy (the lines, the decor, the clothes that have been rifled through). I decided I was going hunting for hot sauce and micro-brew suds. Welcome - World Market, just a door or two down from ON. I walked in the door and headed right to the back corner, knowing exactly where to find my wares. First I browsed down the hot sauce aisle and sure enough, they had a couple of good selections for me to try and I bought out the sharkfin sample packs and picked out some "After Death" sauce (which turns out to be pretty durn good btw). I then spied the suds aisle to see if they had any Saranac - and found the last two six packs of the stuff at a great price. Suddenly I realized my dilemma - I didn't have enough hands. One of the things I like aboot World Market is they strategically place shopping basket stacks around the store. In the beer/wine section, there was a stack just waiting for me to quickly grab one and hurry back to get the goods I was coveting before someone else could grab the suds and hot sauce that had endeared themselves to me. Aside from the varieties of wines, furniture and other various knick knacks, there's something for everyone here, whether it's coffee, snacks, kids toys, wall hangings or what not - it's fun just to hang out and browse, even if I'm not buying. read more

World Market is the place for a lot of different things. My favorite things to shop for there are their kitchen section, snacks and wine section. They have an extensive wine selection and always offer a case discount. They frequently have sales on their wine as well. They have such nice dinnerware, glassware, serving platters and other kitchen necessities. One thing that I always get from there is their World Market brand extra virgin olive oil, it is my favorite. The other extra virgin olive oils they have there are good as well but when the World Marked brand goes on sale, I am sure to stock up. read more

Cost plus world market is my favorite type of specialty retail store to browse. They have many unique items for your home. Great place to pick up gifts or decor. Well laid out aisles of specialty imported food and drinks from all over the world. Nice display of beer and wines that you won't find in many liquor stores. They also have a nice selection of furniture and kitchen supplies. Found an old school retro egg beater with crank just like one that my mom used to have. Ah the good ole days. Would love to have this store in Tampa but they do ship so that is a plus. Closest location is ft myers and Orlando area. read more

This is such a fun store if you're in any way a kitchen or home decor nerd. Many of their products are pricey, but they have frequent sales and an "explorer" club with good coupons and discounts. I've been slowly starting a collection of turquoise kitchen gear (colanders, French press, pepper mill) since I started shopping here two years ago. They also have a fun collection of "ethnic" and specialty foods as well. I also buy my favorite ginger beer here, Fever Tree. Finally, they also have a great selection of coffee, beer, and wine. The staff is mostly pretty friendly although my interaction with the staff is generally limited to check out. All in all, it's a fun store to browse and I usually leave with one or two fun new gadgets or treats for the kitchen. read more

Because I couldn't resist buying for myself...I bought coffee. I was told there is a coffee club linked to the email you give at check out. Love a good loyalty program. Holy awesomeness, Batman! This place is cool. I stumbled upon it the other day after perusing Old Navy. It's set back a ways from the Triangle Town Center in what I guess they are calling Poyner Place. I wasn't sure what to make of it from the outside, but I was intrigued enough to step in. They've got a variety of home goods and nice-looking furniture--desks, shelving, dining room tables, but what really caught my eye was the ginormous wine selection. I'm no expert, but they really seemed to have an interesting and unique assortment. I was sort of pressed for time so I stayed mainly in the food and beverage section and saw that they also had a nice array of cool beers--you could even make your own six pack. I saw a banana bread beer made from bananas. What?! Lots of specialty items and small groupings of ethnic foods such as Indian and Japanese. I bought some dark chocolate with crystallized ginger in it--so, so good, and bought my spice-loving hubby some chocolate with red chilis. Me and my boyfriend went in here just to look around and it was nice most of the furniture was comfy. We decided to try a bunch of different candies and most were good. We got help by maegan when we were looking at wine. She was very sweet and has amazing customer service. She recommended all the wine we bought and she definitely knows her stuff I have a new favorite wine I don't like red wine or wine really to begin with but the Robertson red wine is so far my favorite going to try the others. I always like looking around in here. So many interesting things. They have a good selection of foreign food items. I generally come here to buy the individual packets of udon noodles. Other than driving to the Asian market, this is the only place that I can find the ones that it like. The store is always clean and the staff friendly. The only complaint that I have is the "closeness" of the various displays. There is barely room to walk in some areas and, if you have a cart, forget about navigating the store. read more
