This store doesn't have the same quality of items I've seen at other locations. The clothing and shoe selection is a bit underwhelming. Not much jewelry to choose from. Stationery/journal/paper section is ok. Housewares is ok too. It's hard to find someone to assist you. Checkout lines should move a bit more quickly. read more

Checkout is ridiculous at this location. They have 15-20 people waiting and 2 people to checkout and one is stuck doing something odd that is taking 15 minutes. Last time it was even worse And no one comes to help. read more

Looking for good clothing here is a little bit of a free for all, as just about everything is hung tightly together on those long racks you'd usually see as a clearance rack. But there are some good brands available such as Tommy Hilfiger, Greg Norman, Lucky, and Jack Nicklaus. And the prices are incredibly good. Some of the items can be better organized, especially in home decor. I know customers can move stuff around, but they should make an effort to keep things organized so people can actually find what they are looking for. read more

I've enjoyed visiting this Marshall location. The staff here are always nice and professional. I have been acknowledged here on more than one visit. Persia assisted me with finding the perfect item I was searching for. Marshall is lucky to have such a welcoming and friendly staff member. Everything's always great until you get to the check out......lines are always LONG with few registers open. So don't wait until you need to leave if you need to be some where. Give yourself probably 15 - 20 minutes to reach the register. read more

I just wanted to post to give Mariana B. a quick shout out. It's 3 days before Christmas and of course the lines are ridiculous at every shopping center, so I'm sure the cashiers are exhausted. I was lucky enough to end up checking out with Mariana who went out of her way to remind me about my TJ Maxx/Marshalls rewards points after my payment was already processed, perform a return, and re-check out my items using the rewards points. She said she "loves to help customers" - and she puts that into action. Great service, and I hope her managers recognize it! read more

I love this place !! Wish they would stop advertising so everyone didn't know and it wouldn't be so crowded !!! Best time to go for me is on weekday mornings. Not too crowded. To, The Store Manager Marshals Carry Store. NC Subject- Complaint against floor associates. I am a long time customer of Marshall. And very dedicated shopper of your products. Lately my experience at your Cary location has been very unpleasant with your floor associate members. At first I thought might be one time experience but after few experiences, now it appears more consistent and systematic issue in my observation every visit. The underlying issue is that group of your floor staff members collects as a gathering with loud chatters in ethnic languages ( non English) causing uncomfortable awkwardness to all the customers. US is English speaking country and other languages spoken in harsh way doesn't not reflect professional mannerism in work place. This undisciplined behavior is consistently routine and needs to be rectified. Either by training program or by some education. I am pretty much sure at Marshall's there is zero tolerance policy for such mannerless behavior at work place. By no means this reflects on other hard working associates at the store. I am very optimistic the local management at store will take immediate action on such matters. If it does not remedy in due course, it is not good for store culture in long run . Thank you. The store is a disorder, aisles are blocked with the boats of unpacked merchandise. personal was slow and mean.

I came here to return 3 items and it seemed like the cashier was trying to find ways to not give me a refund, despite me having my receipts and being within the timeframe in which to make a return. I had bought a pair of pants the day before but she told me I was outside of the return time until I pointed out out the date. Even one of her coworkers noticed this cashier's issue with me/my transaction. When I bought a small item after completing the return, the cashier didn't place it in a bag or offer to give me a new bag. She simply handed me the item, then the receipt with zero eye contact and she walked away while talking to a co-worker. Super rude and uncalled for when I was never rude or unpleasant towards her. I don't shop where I'm not wanted so I won't be back. I also made sure to immediately fill out the survey on the receipt. read more

If you know me at all, you know I don't usually review chains...but with stores like Marshall's and TJMaxx, what they carry varies day to day. This particular Marshall's has ALWAYS had a great selection of items. I've gone to others where they barely carry anything. If you're looking to bargain shop at one of these types of stores--go to this one. Can't go wrong. Of course, if you visit these stores often, you know the usual: 1) it's an organized mess (things are organized by where they belong in the house and such, but within the section...anything's game); 2) you can't always find a clerk when you need one (but chances are, they don't know what they have in store either); 3) some prices are good, some are not...you just have to go in having an idea of how much something should cost (research online first! or do what I do and look it up in store with your smartphone ;]) read more

Thus their new popularity status the malls have really jacked up the prices..but thanks to Marshall's having a decent selection of Chucks for only $24.99!
