I was gifted a dress from here that I didn't really like and wanted to exchange it for an item that I would actually wear. Their exchange policy is insane. Instead of exchanging for the amount that you actually paid for it, they will only exchange it for the current price, so in this case, the person who gifted me the dress paid $45, but since they were having a sale, I was only allowed to exchange it for something that was (the sale price of) $30. That is such a bizarre return policy! Ultimately, I didn't find anything in the store that I would wear, and if I did see something they only had sizes medium-XL. This store sells really cute vintage style clothes and accessories. I have bought several items from the store, but on this occasion I didn't see anything that caught my eye. It seemed that they had a lot more novelty items this time than I had seen on previous occasions. I didn't interact with any staff nor see any offering to help within the store. read more

I usually really enjoy Francesca's. It's like the older, prettier, classier sister of Forever 21 in terms of clothes- slightly more classic/trendy, slightly more expensive, better quality. However, lately this location just isn't doing it for me. The staff isn't very friendly, in fact they're kind of like a clique who'd rather talk to each other than the customers. Also, they only have 2 dressing rooms, which would be fine in another location but at the mall often means a line waiting to try on clothes. I stopped in today and there were two girls working but nobody said hi or one word to me. In addition, most of the clothes looked out of season- very spring/summery, there wasn't much to choose from for wearing right now. I hope they can fix these issues because I really do like Francesca's for cute, affordable clothes and jewelry that aren't the same exact thing everyone else is wearing. read more

This new shop in the Crabtree Valley Mall is fun. It's got tons of clothes that aren't too expensive, but not too cheap either. They also have a ton of knick-knack thingermagigs on tables and you can usually find a gift. There is a pretty good collection of handbags that varies in all sizes, shapes and colors. I really like this Francesca's, it's convient to my house and it's pretty well stocked. I also know the girls who work here pretty well which helps when getting style suggestions and opinions. The biggest problem with this one though (and the reason it goes down two stars) is that it's SMALL. AND CROWDED. To the point where you're getting hot and gross even in the Winter. There are also only two dressing rooms in the back, which are also littered with unwanted clothes from the other shoppers. Every time I come here I am stuck in line for at least 20 minutes. They have no clothing limit on the rooms so girls go in with an arm full of outfits....That and their mother's bring them more without any regard of the other people in line. While this one is convient to my house, I might as well stop by the one at Cameron Village for my shopping needs. read more

I stopped by this store on 9/30/16 and was totally ignore by all the employees in the store. I called to the store to speak with the manager, and it just so happen that the manager and district manager was in the store at the time I stopped in. When speaking with the manager she attempted to argue with me , about being ignored . She stated, I hit the curtain and asked you if you needed help. No one in the store asked me any questions. However the employees gave great customer service to all of the Non African American customers! I was baffled to find out the store manager and district manager totally ignored me also! So if you are African American do not shop at Francesca's Collection in the Crabtree Valley Mall! read more

I don't normally review clothing stores. However, after my experience tonight, I felt the need to. I have shopped at Francesca's for years, and like most similar smaller medium quality clothing stores, the service is usually pretty good with the occasional slightly fake employee. Tonight, I was struggling because I realized at the last moment that my holiday party dress was not going to work at all and specifically thought about Francesca's where I could find a good variety without overspending. I went in about an hour before close (and in mid December). There was definitely a good selection, but because it was last minute I had to try on a ton of stuff to make extra sure I found something that fit properly. One employee was so helpful! She was constantly taking stuff off my hands for the dressing room as my arms got filled up. She checked on me while I was in the dressing room, and gladly grabbed another size for me. She had such a good attitude even when the mall was super crowded near closing, and seemed very genuine. Then, when I went to check out, that employee was just as kind and genuine. People may read this and say "that's their job" but it is not easy to find this kind of customer service in Raleigh. I was very impressed and left feeling a lot better than when I went in! read more
