I shop TJ Maxx often when looking for clothing for my preteen or special items for myself. There is always a good deal on designer items and the selection is plentiful when they receive shipment. The staff is always pleasant and using my TJX rewards helps save money. I did some holiday shopping here yesterday and found some beautiful Kate Spade pajamas for a gift. Kate Spade is one of my favorite New York designers. They also carry beautiful leather Kate handbags and wallets. My only complaint here is that the lines are always long. It's crazy following a 1-star review with a 5-star review but I needed to return my item nonetheless. I went in knowing I would get merchandise credit and the employee, Jordan, was an angel. I briefly explained what happened a few days ago and not only did Jordan apologize for her coworkers behavior, but she was able to look up my transaction and refund my purchase to my original payment. I appreciate the not everyone at the store is so hostile and unwilling to spend a few extra minutes with a longtime customer. read more

They even have snacks lol. I kid you not, they have some of the craziest chips and chocolates you won't find anywhere else but TJ's! T.J.Maxx at Brier Creek Commons is fantastic!!! The store has everything and anything you might need or didn't know you needed, from home yoga equipment to hats to fanny packs to earrings to kitchenware to shoes to bags to suitcases to dresses, etc. It is a clean and beautiful store with friendly staff. T.J.Maxx is always well-stocked and has a large variety of unique finds, so every store visit is like a treasure hunting experience. I also feel like I'm getting great deals and bargains when I shop there because they sell quality items that last me a long time and at great prices. T.J. Maxx is also located at a prime location at Brier Creek Commons, which is a beautiful large shopping place with what seems like an infinite number of a mix of national retailers, contemporary brands, and distinctive shops. I was in need of a few office decor and a shirt for my Vegas vacation. I had a Christmas sweater I never got to wear in my trunk to take back. While standing in line to exchange my sweater I noticed it was taking a while, so I went on shopping. After shopping I had planned to just exchange my sweater for one of the many items I was purchasing. My cashier Sheldren seemed to not understand. She caused a big scene at the register saying I did not have a receipt, she could not exchange it, then walked over and got another cashier. I then confronted her about her nasty attitude. Long story short the other cashier got my ID and took care of everything for me. In the meantime Sheldren was talking to another customer about the incident. They both looked down laughing as I was cashing out with Johnnie. I called in and spoke with the manager and she seem to be very polite and concerned. She also promised she would address the situation. The cashier Johnnie was awesome she apologized for what had happened. She made the transaction smooth and calm down the situation well. Kudos to Johnnie and the manager I spoke to over the phone. For them I'll give this location a three star Sheldren deserves a 1 star. Oh I forgot to mention Sheldrens toboggan didn't look business appropriate at all. read more

TJ Maxx is one of those discount retail stores that generally has really good quality stuff. Yesterday, I was able to find some makeup and clothing to replace other lost items -- #ThanksUnited -- and was pleased with the prices and quality of my purchases. The store is pretty easy to maneuver around. They have far more sweaters than regular shirts. When I went to try on some sweaters, the dressing room attendant was very hard to understand. It seemed she had a hard time understanding me as well. Seeing as I had other items in my cart, which couldn't be taken to the dressing room -- new makeup, etc. -- I asked what to do with them. She said she'd watch them. When she assured me this was the case, she said, "oh, yes, I'll be responsible for them." While in the dressing room, I then heard her walking all around. So much, for standing watch over a certain area and items. I also appreciate that TJ Maxx doesn't seem overrun by Christmas already, like some other stores do. The cashier was fast, friendly, and efficient in responding to my request for two different transactions. And then I was on my way. read more

This is a great location with lots of great finds. Probably a little cleaner and more organized than most other locations I've been to. We were able to outfit our entire guest bedroom (quilt, shams, sheets, blanket, curtains) for ~$130. (They had a better selection that day than HomeGoods did). You can't beat that. I can't say the employees that were walking around the sales floor really went out of their way to greet me, but I can't say (in this type of store) that I really cared. Sometimes, it's okay not to be bothered. Parking sucks, but that's just Brier Creek. read more

Employees at this store clearly want to cause difficulty for their customers. Beware if you have something to return. I ordered a pair of boots that arrived at 10pm Monday night. They didn't fit so I brought them to the store early the next morning around 9am and they refused to give me a refund or even store credit. They said it looked like the boots had been worn. They had not and are brand new in the exact condition that I received them. I tried them on, they didn't fit, and so I put them directly back in the box and tried to return them. If you are not going to accept an item back in the same condition it is delivered to a customer then what is your standard? So disappointed in this customer service. It was insulting that they accused me of wearing them when I had not. I even showed the receipt that they had arrived less than 12 hrs prior. Ridiculous. read more

I've always enjoyed this TJ Maxx. I wouldn't say it has the biggest of best selection but it's pretty consistent and the store is always clean and pretty organized. I've never had bad service but today was really exceptional. Shayla (sp?) was my cashier at checkout and she was so pleasant and friendly despite not having the greatest of luck with the computer system and other customers. It's just nice when these little mundane chores are made less troublesome and you can meet and talk to someone pleasant in the process. Thanks! read more

They will always have great prices on the items within the stores but OMFG stop with the pushy credit card sales. Like the whole shopping experience went downhill because the cashier asked multiple times and I said NO. Her whole attitude changed when the transaction was finished. Didn't even hand me my bag just pushed it over the counter... like what in the entire f! Please don't make your sales associates push the card if it's going to change their whole demeanor. read more

Very organized! TJ Maxx sure has gotten better since I was a little girl with messy cheap clothing scattered all over the store. Gone are the days when you have to sift through racks of crap you don't want to get to the stuff you do! I mean, the racks are still there, but they bring out certain designers and styles on square racks so you can make a beeline for them. Great prices too. read more

Again waited 20 minutes in line.. they are about to loose my business. Saw multiple people putting back items so they didn't have to wait in line. Cashier said corporate doesn't want to spend money on cashiers. Customers in line were frustrated. read more

This location is really close to where I live so I am in here about twice a month, and everyone is really friendly in there. The brands of clothing as well as the decorations and cookware are all great quality and at really cheap prices compared to other discount stores. Oh and sometimes there is really good furniture pieces available for purchase, those go quick though. read more
