I went to return an item and found the customer service desk was closed. I was told it closed early (this was around 6 pm Saturday) due to staffing shortages and advised to come back the next day or go to another Walmart. There were at least four registers open - perhaps none of those workers were trained for the customer service desk. I had processed the return online before I arrived, to make the in store return easier with the barcode and selected in store return. In the future I'll select curbside return, as I believe it would have allowed me to make the return. read more

I visited this store on 3/11/2026 to do some grocery shopping and to buy a new bra. I was waiting for the person in the fitting room to come out, when the lady came out I went in the fitting room to try on a couple of bras. When I opened the door to come out I was greeted by the unprofessional mean clothing department lady. I was told that I was NOT ALLOWED TO TRY ON BRAS, so I asked her is this a new Walmart policy? She NO that it has always been a policy by Walmart it's just some stores don't enforce it. I told her that all of the years that I have been shopping at Walmart I have never heard of that. So I asked her what am I supposed to do buy a bra that I think will fit and try it on at home? She replied with something sarcastic to say but sadly I couldn't understand her when she was wearing a mask, what a major INCONVENIENCE that would be for me to drive home just to try on a bra that may not fit to have to burn more gas just to bring it back, who knows I might not even get a refund. I requested to speak with a manager who never came to customer service, so I approach a training manager and explained to him what happened. He said that he apologized for what had happened but that he really didn't know what the Walmart policy is for trying on bras this was something that he would have to look into. Lol, this is the most ridiculous policy I've ever heard of, if it's true then Walmart needs to do a better job by informing the public. They might as well just close the fitting rooms and make it impossible for anyone to try on anything. But you can go to any major department store to try on bras. I called customer service and the agent said that this policy was true for some Walmart locations, and he mentioned that you won't be able to return a bra that has been worn. I was going to try and buy some body lotion online with Walmart instead of Amazon. I ordered 3 body lotion that were less expensive than Amazon price. It was scheduled to deliver the next day. I got a package addressed to me but the contents was not what I ordered. Ir was a very tiny space heater. I talked to online support and they said they would resend 3 lotions and not to worry about returning space heater. The next day I got an email saying that my request for refund or replacement was denied. I called Walmart support and talked to AI agent. It said that Walmart would send replacement order. I got another email saying request denied. I called support again and asked to talk to real person. I finally got a hold of someone and said that sometimes the folks working on backend don't communicate well with us. They said for me to send email to Walmart support with order number and say that I am human. Then put my request for refund or replacement. Again, they denied my request. I called online support and talked to human. Told them that I want to talk to manager. After being on hold, they said she is on another call but we are putting request to refund and you should get an email. I still asked to talk to manager. They took my number so she could call back. I got another email tge next day saying my request was denied for refund and manager nver called me back. I am now disputing the charge with credit card. Lesson: Do not buy anything online from Walmart. Amazon is the best her with delivery and customer service even if prices are a little higher. read more

Ability to checkout has improved recently. Major reason why u stopped using Walmarts was the inordinate time waiting to be checked out- seemingly due to lack of Staff to man the checkouts- this of course meant that the Self-checkout section had lengthy queues!- if this trend to better staffing continued it means not only I but many people will use Walmart more often read more

I had a very frustrating experience at Walmart today. I arrived at the customer service desk at 6:59 AM to return an item. Even though the store was open and serving customers, the service desk wasn't. A supervisor saw me waiting and informed me that the staff wouldn't be there until 7 AM. When the employee finally arrived at 7 AM, she then had to get her cash drawer from the cash office, which took another 10 minutes. To make things worse, the employee showed up listening to a podcast or phone call that all could hear because she played it loudly on her speaker. This is completely unacceptable. We were in the area and were looking for Walmart gift card for a church charity event. On a Monday night when there were plenty of shoppers, they had self-checkout but only one checkout line with a cashier. Since we had to activate the gift card, we had to wait in line. It was really, really slow. Eventually, they opened up another line and we switched over and still made it before the shopper in front of us in the first line. Walmart should do better and have more cashiers. There were obviously employees there (we saw plenty) but they need more open checkout lines at night. read more

We have been to about 5 Walmart's in the past week trying to exchange a truck battery that was still in warranty. Not sure if it was the Corona Virus or what but trying to find the right size battery has been a challenge. Online inventory said that this store had our battery. We didn't even get past the Customer Service desk. Their "system" was down and they couldn't process any returns. WHAT !!!!! They suggested that we go to the Brier Creek store. Nobody wants to get all the way to self check out and then realize the items are never marked appropriately and the workers try to make it your problem when their prices for the items have not been marked appropriately. We did online order/curbside pickup at this Walmart and it took over half an hour for the order to be delivered to our car. We have had similar issues at other Walmarts in the area, but it was worse at this location. Most of the items in our grocery order were fulfilled, but for the 5 items that were unavailable, there were no substitutions offered (e.g. eggs, canned corn). This location is in a very busy area, surrounded by lots of other stores. The parking lot was fairly full, so folks who are looking to socially distance during COVID may want to avoid shopping here. read more

I drove to this Walmart for an in-store pickup for something I had ordered online a few days ago. Overall, my pickup experience was great. The pickup area was easy to find (right at the front of the store) and all I had to do when I got there was tap the screen on the counter. (You can also check in before you arrive.) Immediately, someone came out to check my ID and retrieve my order. I was in and out of the pickup area in less than 2 minutes and it could not have gone any smoother. I also did some grocery shopping and ate at the McDonald's while I was there. I did not have trouble finding anything in the store, and as always, their prices were kept really low and hard to beat. There were only two people working at the McDonald's, so it took a while for them to take our orders and get our food out, but it was understandable. read more

I bought the TV and picked up from store, after i open the box at home it was crack so i went to returned the TV. I was told by customer service that in their system is down so can't accept return even though walmart system allow me to create label online. when i talk to Manager he said you can leave the TV but he won't be issue any return and he asked me come back next day, so i called customer service to update in their system. After i talk to customer service over the phone they update in their system and they wanted to talk to manager so i handed to manger after he talk to Customer service over the phone he was so rude to me, told me since you call customer service take the TV back and take it another store, our system is down even though customer service guy over the phone assure me that he updated in their system but he refused to take it. I was there with my 3 kids include my 2 yrs old daughter who had been crying while manager purposely taking his time not to solve my problem but instead he didn't like that i called customer service to solve this issue. I live in the Brier Creek area so I shop at the Walmart in Brier Creek I'm there about 4 x a wee, I've met some nice people who work there and some not so nice, but there is one employee who is so sweet and friendly and her name is Linda she is mostly in the garden center. I'm writing this today because I went shopping and a big storm was on its way so I did my shopping and by the time I was finished and heading to my car it was pouring out I waited 10 minutes but no chance of letting up and then Linda showed up with an umbrella she said take the umbrella to the car and I will meet you at the opening of this garden area and I'll get the umbrella back. She met me at the curb with an umbrella to cover herself and got it back from me. unfortunately I don't know her last name but she is so helpful and always at work with a smile. No. No. No. One thousand times no. I came in for a quick online order pickup & was sent to the orange kiosk at the front of the store. No one was there, so j was sent to the line of 10 people at customer service. The single customer service young lady called for help twice. A manager came by & said nothing and walked away. Another young girl came by & gathered two carts, apologized & walked away. Meanwhile, several employees milled about seeming to avoid work at all. This poor girl worked so hard, running for money orders & trying to do the work of 10 people. I won't be back. There is minimal value for customer service. The rep complained she needed to be on her lunch when asked where 3 other employees were. Apparently you get paid to hide out here! Oh it got so much worse!! I was next in line & a new employee walked up to help me. She escorted me to the original orange kiosk where there were 3 (count them 3!!) employees! Who immediately walked away & locked the pickup door as soon as I arrived. Apparently the man in front of me's order was lost & the computer was locked as a result. (BTW I watched this gentleman enter the store 10 min after I had.) going on one hour & still nothing...I approach a manager & she tells me to wait. Eventually a young man comes over willing to help - but he has to search the store for another 10 min to find the keys. Turns out Ken, the customer service rep has the key, and has walked past the area multiple times throughout the hour. Wow. Just wow. After 65 minutes of waiting I have my two pillows; next time it's Amazon prime all the way. I have to laugh....I never received a return phone call - but I've received 2 separate Walmart surveys online asking me to rate my experience. I've been very detailed & requested a response; still no response. Corporate America at its best. LOL read more

We circled several times, I went inside to get help at Customer Service & got none. We called the phone number numerous times & got a message over and over. Here is why I love this location. 1) It's open 24 hours. Yay. 2) out of going here for 6 years I think I couldn't find what I needed about 1-2 times. 3) cashiers are nice 4) it's clean. Yay. 5) they do a really good job of restocking. On thanksgiving week they literally had people post so that all of the grocery items were constantly replenished. (I think this was a new thing because the cashier asked me if the grocery section was being constantly stocked) 6) the hot food in the deli is good. Like real good. All the food here is good tbh. 7) they have an extensive selection of blue bell ice cream. Yay. Yay. Yay. 8) Black Friday went very smooth. The organization was impressive. 9) they price match 10) I think I said this but they have frickin everything I could go on and on. Do they have lines ? Yes. It's Walmart. I don't mind waiting an extra 10 min to save over $20. I typically go when I'm not in a rush. I tend to find myself going for one thing and getting distracted by the other 10000000 items in the store. I've spent hours here and I doubt I've seen everything. Went into Walmart on Tuesday at approx 5:00 PM to get some prices on meat party trays. The found the prices and exactly what each tray con They were Went in Wednesday at approx 4:30 PM to pick up my order. Waited for approx five minutes while I got stares from 3 people that worked the deli counter. The young gentleman that was removing the chicken from the oven looked at me approx 4 times and did not stop what he was doing. Two elder ladies came from the end of the deli counter as they were talking and they both looked at me. They went together into the back of the deli but I still was in sight of them. They continued to talk and laugh and they looked my way about 3 times. I was getting frustrated about this time and went to where the ladies could see me in full view and asked them I was there to pick up a meat tray. I said it loud and clear for her to hear me, but she still asked what I wanted and did not come from behind the counter behind the deli. About that time the young gentleman came up to me and asked what I wanted. I got the meat tray and thanked the young man. Just to let you know that I went there for your prices but next time I will look else where for my party needs. The customer comes first and I felt that that was not the case in my situation. read more

Ok I get it - going to Walmart can sometimes be an incredibly frustrating experience BUT I am giving 5 stars for exceptional pick up service. I used this service pre-COVID and since COVID, they have really stepped up their game. They always get my order right, the wait during pick up is short (usually 2 minutes), and they make very good substitutions which are easy to decline if I don't want them. Best of all, every associate has been kind and lovely. I've always enjoyed our quick chats during pick up. read more
