This shop is amazing. It has by far the widest selection of vintageware I have found it so far in…read morethe Raleigh area. And I say this as someone who has been to many a thrift shop, as well as a couple of the other vintage doors that show up on Yelp in the Research Triangle area. On this occasion I was in dire need of a dress to wear for a mehndi social event and was looking for something very much in alignment to a beautiful multi-colored number I had rented from Rent the Runway last summer. In hindsight, I should have bought that dress when I had a chance, but that's the thing about hindsight. . . Anyways, Dress proved to be a really fun browsing experience. The store is large and the racks are full and generally assorted by color, which really helps when you're looking for something specific. I tried on two items. One: a multicolored tunic style dress and 2: a really cute romper with some lace appliques. Neither of them got me super excited, so I will keep up my search for the dress that got away. Meanwhile I was pleased to find that Dress also has a healthy selection of well-made jewelry, as well as designer shoes for perusal. I may have struck out this time but this shop is definitely going into my rotation. This Brooklyn girl is definitely starved for some fun fashion finds.

Simply structured clothes of beautiful, natural fibers. Flax, linen, and cotton do lend themselves…read morebetter to the more unstructured, comfortable style representative of the clothes here. This store delivers that. Although the majority of items are natural fibers, there were a few that were not, but they were constructed in such a way to fit the overall vibe. There were a couple of gorgeous hand-knit sweaters I could hear tempting me and I almost succumbed until I thought about the temperature outside that day and couldn't bring myself to give in. The clothes from Possibilities are beautiful, but they aren't cheap. One minor disappointment is the jewelry -- it was nice, mostly handmade, but overpriced for what it was. There are other shops nearby with equally nice pieces at a more reasonable price.

The owners wanted to create a store within their community that supports businesses. Amber Said that " you shouldn't have to choose between doing good and looking and feeling your best." That's why they offer you style with a story! I came in and I was greeted right away by one of the owners Amber she was so nice! She showed me around the store and told me the story behind the business and the venders she supports. She also shared the range of price points on items in her store. The clothing range from $30-70. There were only a few pieces over $100. They also carry jewelry ranging from $16-$80 dollars. I know what you might be thinking kind of pricey, but the brands of jewelry they carry are empowering others. The brands restore power and offer outreach to women who have experienced challenges. IE: Addiction, homelessness or have been victims of human trafficking. You can purchase everything online and you can find out more information about the brands on how they give back on their website! You can also book a giveback gathering via there website. I really enjoyed my visit at Rose and Lee Co and I will defiantly be back for a wardrobe session with Prisca in the near future! They only take so many appointments at one time so it's very personal and not a mad house compared to other popular bridal shops. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily this was such a relief. My associate Riley was such an angel, I could tell she really cared about my experience and made me feel heard and helped me articulate different things about the dresses to narrow down what I did or didn't like. She and the other associate who popped in occasionally (I didn't catch her name, but she was so wonderful to) really helped me get into dresses and made sure they looked right on me, and as a plus size bride with fewer options typically, they really did a wonderful job. They made me feel like I belonged and was deserving of a great experience and beautiful gown which meant a lot to me. They ran around pulling gowns, showing me skirts and using fabric to change the color - it was really cool and fun! I am so glad we went with this shop and they should be proud of how they train their employees, they were genuinely so so kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough, and would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a truly individual, private, and well rounded shopping experience.

We tried on a few dresses and found one I really liked! I wasnt sure I would find "the one" so quickly so we went to a few other stores, and ended up coming back at the end of the day to order the dress! They took my measurements and recommended that I order the dress custom cut from the designer, which was a great suggestion (less work altering the dress). I received the dress a few months later and set out to have it altered. Once that was done, I took the dress back to Maggi Bridal were they steamed at no cost to me.
