We had excellent services with Ian and Jamal. They were on time, professional, kind and worked quickly. Thank you to both Jamal and Ian! read more

We bought a teak patio set less than a year ago and the current condition is terrible even having been in a covered area. I have emailed about this several times to multiple addresses now for over a month and have received no response. Expect better quality and service especially considering the price tag. read more

Viridien has a large selection of all things outdoors--cushions, umbrellas, covers, loungers, chairs, tables, and rockers. Florzell was very patient with us and was a wonderful salesperson. Ken and Jamal were fabulous with the swift delivery of our purchases. Couldn't recommend Viridien more highly! read more

Special thank you to McKenzie for helping us put together the furniture for our outdoor spaces. We're very pleased with the outcome - everything is so comfortable and looks terrific! It's exactly what we wanted. Icing on the cake was the great delivery team of Ken and Jamal, who set everything up carefully and professionally. Would definitely recommend Viridien for your outdoor furniture needs! read more

Ken and Jamal delivered our lounger and were both very helpful and accommodating when placing it on our back porch.

Great experience at their recent Winter sale. Great people. Very accomodating. And beautiful outdoor furniture. We're repeat customers and did great both times. We love our stuff. read more

After ordering my wood stove, I had a very difficult time getting in touch with anyone to schedule delivery. Once I finally was able to, I was told my wood stove would be delivered on 2/17 and that I would get a phone call the day before giving me a time window for delivery. I did not receive a call and my stove was not delivered. I reached back out to Viridien and was told it would now be delivered the following Monday and that I would get a call on Sunday with a time window. Again, no call. This really shouldn't be so difficult. I started looking at their reviews online and they are terrible. Something is very wrong with their customer service. Also, the owner posted a response to my review that was completely made up, claiming that my stove was delivered on a Tuesday (it wasn't) and that the store sent text messages the Saturday before (they didn't). I didn't think I could be even more disappointed, but I am. If you have so many reviews about your poor customer service, either make improvements or don't, but don't misrepresent what happened. read more

From start to finish the sales team (Tim) at the store worked hard for our business and the delivery man (Tim) were awesome.

Let me first say, wonderful delivery team! Nelson and Thomas delivered our patio sectional, end tables, dining table and area rug. These gentlemen did a fantastic job bringing all of these pieces in while somehow keeping their feet clean from the exposed clay in my backyard. They also took great care to not get the clay on my brand new area rug which was much appreciated! One word of caution when dealing with this business, it is essential to stay on top of communication while waiting for your order to arrive. It is their policy to deliver furniture without the cushions, if they have not arrived with the furniture frames. Just be aware that you may have furniture that you may not be able to enjoy without the cushions until they come in. read more

Beautiful high quality furniture and responsive customer service! I would highly recommend that you check out Veridien!

fantastic customer service and the best prices around. I did lots of research on my purchase and Viridien matched the manufacturer prices PLUS complementary assembly, so that sold me! they were very easy to work with and always had a real person answering the phone. read more

The worst customer service ever !!! It's been almost three months and my furniture still isn't back from being repaired. No one answers phones, no salespeople know anything about the order. The messages I left have just been past down to someone else and no one calls back Poor, poor customer service! I'll never go back again !! I received a email saying there was a quality control problem after I tried to call them for over two weeks with no return phone call. I kept getting responses like," I will move this issue up to the manager and he will get right back to you!" He sure did get back to me..... after he read this review !!! Bad customer service!!! read more

Had an fireplace installed years ago. Such a poor job with customer service and installation. Using a different company to fix the problems they started. read more

Having a Big Geen Egg (the last grill anyone will ever have to buy) means having to get the right replacement accessories when one of the pieces gets dropped and broken. A ceramic damper is difficult to find online. FHCLS was a little busy when we showed up, so it took awhile to get some help. When we were able to finally get someone to help us, we had their undivided attention for a solid block of time. He found what we were looking for walked it out to the car with us. We then we proceeded to talk about the BGE (the store had one outside with a roast on it, low and slow). read more

Based upon my experience, there is no advantage to ordering your fireplace insert from this store over purchasing it direct online. I can't imagine it being any more frustrating. If you purchase it from the store and it quits working less than a year later, and you call the store to get some assistance, they will: 1st - give you the run-around; 2nd - not return your call and/or refuse to put someone on the phone who might actually know something about your issue; 3rd - tell you that you have to contact the manufacturer yourself; and finally, 4th - decide what part you need without anyone coming out to look at the fireplace, order that part for you, tell you to pick it up and contact the installer who handles warranties. Thankfully, that installer talked to me over the phone and told me how to fix the fireplace myself because it did not need any new part. read more

Nope. Mistake on my part. I thought I was buying new deck furniture to the toon of $12000. I have an umbrella ($2k) that needs to be replaced for the third time (a solid 10 uses in total). Imagine a top heavy umbrella without enough weight in the base because it was installed completely wrong. The manufacturer literally laughed at the install. So with a breeze over 8mph the base moves and shifts (manufacturer recommends the umbrella not be up in winds greater than 25mph, classic and scary on so many levels). Lots of fun with small children and dogs and a 400lb tipping hazard on your patio. The best was when it did flip over nearly killing my 20lb dog. Now springs are dropping out out of the umbrella. No idea where they came from. Good news is Randy will gladly exchange all sorts of emails with you. Nothing ever gets fixed but solid communication. Buy the warranty, watch these guys like a hawk and cross your fingers. Worst $12k I have spent and it isn't over yet. Updated: I want to publicly thank Randy for handling the situation professionally and to my satisfaction. We will definitely use Fire Side Casual for all our future outdoor needs. read more

Would have purchased some furniture but no one offered to assist my partner and I. Walk around entire store, sales associates made eye contact and never spoke. read more

Great selection, but that's about the only good thing I can offer. While we knew our patio set would take a while to arrive given Covid, we weren't prepared for the multiple date changes. Delivery commitments kept getting reset over and over. Of course we were charged the full amount when we first purchased, so they had our money for 3 months. After yet another delay I told them I wanted to cancel and they obliged. Now we have another month to wait for different furniture at another store, but I'm happy we decided to move on. read more

Through the years I have bought two indoor Mendota fireplaces, outdoor umbrellas, accessories etc... from FH Casual Living. I've always had a seamless great experience. However, we recently bought outdoor logs for an outdoor fireplace and ran into a few problems. I won't go into the details, however, suffice to say that Randy the store manager was 100% committed to making things right! Their customer service is beyond exceptional. It's rare to find such outstanding people who simply do what's right! I will always be a customer. The logs are finally installed and gorgeous! Many thanks! Courtney read more

We had a not so wonderful experience with communication the minute we paid for our order. They gave us an original projection date and once the order was placed we would get an update on delivery date, which never happened. our order was delayed several times with not one phone call to update. We called several times to find out what was going on and EVERY single time we were told they would get an update and call us to let us know what was going on and that didn't happen. Will not order from there again. read more

Worst customer experience ever. Purchased gas fireplace before Thanksgiving 2019 with assurance that it could be installed before Christmas. None of the service technicians provided by Fire House were available - ended up finding our own contractor and got the fireplace installed in Jan 2020. Then chronic problems with pilot - 7 to 10 service calls in 2020 resulting in a warranty issue with the original manufacturer. We were required to file the warranty claim through Fire House - which we did in January 2021. We returned the old defective unit to Fire House in February 2021 with assurances that a new gas unit would be sent to our home directly within a week or two. We received a random call and a message telling us our "new part" is available for pick up. We drove 32 miles to pick it up (after no one picked up the phone to confirm) - only to find out that the owner had been mistaken, no part was there, and the trip was in vain. (Also, I asked to speak to the owner/manager - who was on site at the store when we were there - he refused to come out as he was "tied up" with another customer.) It's now April 13, 2021. We have left multiple voices messages with Fire House since March with no response. They don't answer the phone. They don't return messages. With over $1,000 out of pocket, plus another $500 to install gas lines - all we have to show for it is an empty fireplace. Our apparent only other recourse is to drive, again, 32 miles (one way) to get a response. Really? Is business that good that they can just ignore customers? Also should mention that, until this review, we have been nothing but polite and respectful, in spite of the problems. read more

DO NOT do business with this store. Run as fast as you can. They quote prices while you're shopping and then change the price when you place an order. This happened twice within 2 days with 2 different salespeople. I'm a numbers junkie and know exactly what I'm quoted. Both times they denied the quote when I went to purchase. Literally unbelievable. I approached Randy, the store manager, about the problem he proclaimed me to be lying and that his salespeople never would have provided that quote. I suspect that his staff are scared to death to keep their jobs and therefore can't admit an honest "mistake" and go into denial. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. read more

My sales associate was inexperienced and had limited knowledge of the product. I did not recieve updates about the status of my order despite email requests and had to make several trips to the store. I would recommend because staff is eager to help but would recommend that you know exactly what you want before you go. read more

We are so pleased with our experience in purchasing a new fire pit grate. Bobby made it so easy despite my measuring the width of the pit wrong! He took it back- no questions asked and made the entire transaction so easy. Since 2008 we have bought our outdoor patio and fireplace products from The Firehouse. They are number one with no competition anywhere close in the Triangle. read more

We Bought a gas fire log set from Kevin and also got great input from David. They listened to us, heard our initial ideas, and THEN made some recommendations and spent ~ 1/2 hour with us on 3 occasions in order to guide us to the product with the best features that matched our wish list. Their preferred installer ( independent contractor ) will install it next week. I like this store a lot. Great advice, great prices, very patient and responsive sales consultants . . . And in a huge showroom where they can show you the actual products in operation. Bravo ! John Hrivnak read more

The staff at The Fire House are great! Like the previous review stated, it may take a bit of time to work with a staff member. However, that's not a deterrent since they give their full attention to you. If you have to wait, check out all of the phenomenal patio sets on display! I've stopped into the shop several times to talk to them about gas fireplaces and patio sets. We've just purchased four loungers for the patio, and we are very pleased with our purchase. The home delivery staff were extremely polite and placed the items just where I wanted. We will return when it's time for more furniture. read more

We love this store!!! A couple of years ago we bought outdoor furniture here. Now, needing to add some more pieces, we returned and worked again with Bobby -- who is terrific!!! We have been unable to find this same quality of outdoor furniture anywhere else; it is so beautiful! One of the things we wanted was to add a cushion to a chair we had purchased here previously, but the manufacturer did not have a cushion as part of their catalog. Bobby was tireless, going through catalogs and comparing measurements, until he found a cushion that appeared like it would work. It actually just arrived and it fits perfectly. That's the kind of service we have come to appreciate at Fire House Casual Living Store - above and beyond the usual. Should we need anything else, we will be back! read more

We were very pleased with the pricing and selection of outdoor furniture. Our sales agent Ann was very helpful in showing us different types and styles that we could use on our screen porch. The quality is high on all the frames and fabrics. They delivered our furniture in just a few days. The delivery crew was on time and careful as they brought pieces into the house. I definitely recommend this store for outdoor furniture. read more

Bobby was very helpful finding us good quality patio furniture that will last with reasonable prices. We were told that the furniture we selected was in stock and ready for delivery. That was the first lie. Our salesman (Bobby) said the furniture was now back ordered, although he was clueless as to when or whether it would be delivered. After waiting a month and threatening to cancel our order, Bobby suddenly came up with a new delivery date. That was lie #2. He is either clueless or works for a company that fosters this attitude toward their customers. They have our money and we have no recourse. They are unethical. read more

From green egg to patio furniture and outdoor fireplace, you can not find better quality, choices and most of all service.

Walked in, HUGE selection of patio furniture. Walked right up found exactly what I was looking for. Salesperson was informative and polite, but not pushy. Offered a better fitting chair for my 6'6" frame and the price was very competitive. Ordered on a Sunday and enjoyed it the very next weekend. I'm sure I will be shopping here again. read more
