I've gotten some great tips from the guys at TLS. The service here is refreshingly personal. Chris, Michael and Odie have been a lot of help. I have a huge irrigation project I been working on by manual labor for more than a year. Chris is a master when operating the BobCat skid steer. The Garner location is super convenient. I've used dump truck delivery on 6 yards of crush and run gravel and made a lot of trips for 1/2 yd. triple shred mulch down to 1/4 yd. I ordered a truck load of topsoil to put in my yard for planting grass. They were out and so I waited two months for it to come in. When it was delivered I hired someone to work with me to put it out, cost me two hundred dollars. I bought several bags of grass seed and watered daily. That top soil I bought turned brick hard and killed the grass that I did have. The new grass never grew. I figured I lost about $330 plus the cost of the truck load of top soil and my hard labor. Sorry I meant crap soil. I live across the street from them but go out of my way and use other companies. I also warn my neighbors and friends what happened. read more

I called around for prices on triple shredded hardwood bark mulch, and Triangle had the best price. Because we were within 10 miles, and had ordered more than 10 cubic yards, delivery was free. However, at the last minute, due to imminent rain the next day, I had to cal and reschedule the delivery. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I dealt mostly with Stacey, who, as it turns out, is co-owner of Triangle with her husband. It is a family-run business, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Stacey was completely sympathetic and quickly rescheduled our delivery. Ironically, the rain never came, but that's another story. Of course, a lower price is not a good enough reason to do business with them if the product is not good. Though their headquarters is in Raleigh, they have a satellite yard in Morrisville, where we went to view the mulch. It was first class. They also have stone, gravel, slate and other products there. To top things off, when the huge load of mulch was delivered, the driver (Matt) was able to place half of it in one spot, and the other half in another, making it much easier to move the mulch first to the front yard, then the back. From start to finish, we were completely satisfied with product, service and attitude. We will be using them again next time we need mulch, for sure. read more

I can't attest to the quality of this company's product because we could never manage to get it delivered. My husband ordered triple shred mulch online to be delivered one Saturday, AM delivery preferable. Someone called to confirm earlier in the week and left a voicemail on my husband's phone. My husband called back at his next available opportunity and left a message confirming delivery for that Saturday. When Saturday arrived, we waited and waited for the delivery all morning. No one came, no one called. My husband finally managed to get someone on the phone who said no one would be coming to deliver our mulch since they never received confirmation of delivery, although my husband had left a message. That tells me that this company can't be bothered to listen to their messages. No big deal...my husband rescheduled for the following Friday, since we both had the day off work. Considering the previous week's disappointment, my husband called the day before the scheduled delivery to check the status. At that point, he found out that we would indeed not receive any mulch from this company. Although we received assurances the previous week that they would deliver on Friday, when the time rolled around, there was no one available to make the delivery. Not to mention, they weren't even going to call and let us know that no one would be coming to deliver, since my husband had to initiate the final communication. I have to say, this is some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. So glad we were able to get a mulch delivery from a much better company (in just a few hours after ordering) after the fiasco of trying to work with this one. read more

The week of 7/23/17 My wife and I went there to pick up a 3/4 yard of 50/50 and it looks like only a 1/2 yard. Last year we've gotten 1/2 yards many times from them so we were a little disappointed in the amount because we were looking for more this time. Then we went again the same week to pick up 1 full yard of screened topsoil and when we returned home we noticed a lot of sticks and roots mixed in and were talking about 8" long sticks. I went online to look at screened topsoil and it should be SCREENED which apparently was not. This looked like fill dirt without the rocks. I also took pictures of the sticks and roots, if I could post them, I would. Their prices are good, but you get what you pay for and we would not recommend them due to their quality is not up to par. read more

I have used Triangle several times through the years. I recently went on-line to get 15 yards of designer mulch. There was a bit of confusion on this as the Raleigh store picked it up and had to transfer it to the Garner store. I spoke with the Garner rep and made the arrangements. The morning of the delivery, the rep called to confirm that I wanted it delivered as there was rain in the forecast he wanted to give me the option to postpone if I needed. About an hour later the delivery driver called me to inform me that the load would not all fit on the tarp in my driveway and wanted me to know. I told him the tarp was a placeholder and to "dump away". I found them prompt and good communicators. I have worked with them several times in the last 8 years and found them to be prompt and good communicators each time. I would have given them 5 stars but the confusion on the delivery store, that I could not pay for it on line, and there was a bit of different mulch residue in the designer mulch likely from a previous order caused me to give them a 4 star rating. I would recommend them and do note that I have gotten deliveries from others and Triangle Landscape Supplies is far better than any other landscape supply company. read more
