So many pumpkins, so little time. This little slice of heaven was meant to be a stop for soil and nothing else. I'm now 2 pumpkins, hot cider concentrate, boo bag gift for my house sitters, Georgie's dog treats, house cake I'm eating now, the soil, fresh bread, and a strawberry spread later. There are events, ice cream and let's face it, the out doors. Please, stop here and enjoy. The family running the store was kind, sweet, helpful and all the other nice business adjectives. Will be back every time I visit the area. Oh... and they have fresh eggs

I had been promising my youngest I would take him to pick strawberries one day. So today was the day! I wanted to bring him to Smith's because I remember coming here several years ago with my middle son for a class field trip and they had animals, hay rides etc. but I believe that may only be during the fall season. My son really had a great time! He actually said "I wish we would come to this place everyday!" Although the temperatures were scorching today it wasn't too bad for the short time we spent there. The staff was very friendly and even suggested areas that others had mentioned where good spots for berries. We stayed towards the front and we were not disappointed. They offer ice cream, milkshakes, iced coffee and other goodies in the building next to the main nursery. The main nursery has so much to look at and enjoy that I forgot to take pictures but you will definitely get the local homegrown experience here. As of right now the strawberries are weighed at 2.99 lb. They also have blueberries you can pick a few miles down the road. I didn't have the energy for that today so that may be another trip for another day. Definitely will return before the season is over.

I am a little torn on my review. At the end of the day, they made my order right BUT it took a lot…read moreof effort on my part to get them there. The product seems good(pinot vines) planted. Watered, good sunlight. They should be fine. But I personally wont be ordering from you again, it was way to difficult to get my order. Thats my only gripe please just communicate more readily and pay attention to your own promos.. sorry. Im sure you feel differently but you know it should have gone smoother. Good luck moving forward.

I ordered…read more4 types of items in total and one of them was incorrect (the most expensive) and another item was sent instead. I have been trying for a month to get this resolved, but the customer service is horrible. The items when received were not clearly labeled, and if I were not an experienced gardener I would've not have known that I received the wrong item. I sent emails multiple times which were ignored, and finally in week 2 did end up having several conversations via their website chat, but still, my issues have not been resolved. Whomever I was dealing with on the other end of the website never identified themselves. Twice someone has promised and failed to ship the correct item and send tracking info, but then failed to follow through. I was originally excited to find this nursery because it's somewhat local to my area, but after this experience I will not purchase from them again. I am out nearly $40 for a missing item and had to purchase from another seller. I wish I had read the poor reviews for this business before ordering, I would have saved time and gotten my plants in the ground sooner by ordering from a different business.

This is a hidden gem in Fuquay. During the winter months they don't have a lot but once spring…read morehits they are packed to the brim with lots of plants. Prices are very reasonable and staff is extremely knowledgeable. Recently the entrance has been moved so if you're traveling east, you will need to turn down a side street to get into the parking lot. If you're coming from the west you can turn in right off of Old Honeycutt. The parking lot is sufficiently sized unless they are having an event or big sale then it can get really hard to find a spot. Inside the main building they have a lot of garden and non-garden items such as soaps and lotions and even an Ice Cream shop!! There is a decent sized greenhouse attached where you will find all of your houseplants along with houseplant pots. Look for the green and orange stickers for 75% and 50% off respectively! Outside they have a wide selection of trees, shrubs, giant pots, grasses, and other yard decorations. Compared to Big Bloomers in Sanford they are quite small with a limited selection. However, I believe that the plants they have available would appeal to a variety of customers. Definitely worth the stop!
