If you are craving cheesecake, you need to order from here. There's a deal now where if you order from now until may 24th you get entered to win a free cheesecake! He's got a website https://apex-cheesecakes.com/ but I also follow his fb and ig pages to keep up with the cheesecakes! He also makes egg-less ones for people with allergies! Support small businesses!

Amazing cheesecake and super nice folks. Excited to try all the flavors because let's face it, this is the best cheesecake in NC. So fresh and not frozen like some other places locally I have tried. Will exclusively order from them from here on out. Thanks so much!

On a whim, for my COVID-19 stuck-in-the-house birthday I decided to treat myself to a Banana Cream cheesecake with a graham cracker crust. First let me say there were around 20 other seasonal flavors to choose from, ranging from fruity like peach or key lime to decadent like Nutella and Death by Chocolate (but I kinda stopped reading when I got to Banana Cream!) Online ordering and payment was simple and because they do have a limited delivery area, I had the option to have this scrumptiousness delivered. I chose contactless pick up instead and this was prompt and hassle free. The yumminess was well packaged and placed in the rear of my car, whereupon I raced home to devour it. (OK - no I had to wait until after dinner, but only because my husband had that look of incredulity and disapproval on his face. You know, the "you can't have dessert before dinner" look your mother used to give you? ) After hastily polishing off my birthday dinner, I raced to the fridge and carefully and lovingly removed The Cake. As I was poised to begin eating, my husband (remember him?) suggested that perhaps I cut it into pieces first and actually share. (Eyeroll) I SO wish I had ignored him (as per usual) and kept the entire round, creamy circle of banana-ness to myself. I have to say that this is perhaps the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. Just the right amount of banana flavor in both the cheesecake and the frosting, a lovely Graham cracker crust and these dear little miniature vanilla wafers on top and the creamiest mouthfeel! Oh so good! My grandmother could not have made one as good. So good in fact, that since The Husband does not have a birthday for a couple of months, we are going to order one for the cat's birthday next month! I think the cat will like Death by Chocolate! Highly recommend and definitely plan on ordering again (soon!)

Such friendly service and truly an AMAZING cheesecake! We got one of the bourbon pecan flavors. The cake was gorgeous, the consistency was light and fluffy, and it was soooo infused with the bourbon! It felt like such a fancy treat for my brothers birthday. Definitely recommend!

    60 cheesecake cupcakes!

Charles and team baked the most delicious cheesecake cupcakes for my wife's birthday! We did a "drive by" birthday party and my wife gave out a party bag with these wonderful cheesecake cupcakes to each drive by well wisher. Charles' cupcakes had chocolate crust, vanilla bean cheesecake, and a cherry topping. Everybody loved them. I ordered 60 of them. Each was pleasantly wrapped in a festive cellophane. Thank you!

A friend of mine visited here last summer and recommended it whenever I was in Apex. I never go to…read moreApex. Until a friend's meetup group scheduled an afternoon "let's have cocktails all afternoon" Friday. Yup, count me in! I got there right at the appointed time, and the early birds were already halfway into their wine. There is a large patio area outside with chairs and tables in small groups. A sunshade and some nicely placed trees help a little There are a few 2- and 4-tops scattered around as you enter. To the left is a large square bar that projects into the room. Behind it is a veritable library of liquors, towering to the ceiling, which is about 9-10 feet high. Seeing the bartender climb up the sliding ladder and fetch a spirit was part of the show. Further to the left are two seating areas with round tables. We had one of these. The Cabernet proved to be the darling of the group (I think we had three bottles and a few extra glasses, but no one was counting! There were eight of us, so don't think we're a bunch of drunks!) I had looked over the menu online and started with the "Up in Flames". It's a Tiki drink, served with a squeezed lime shell garnish that has a sugar cube and some kind of liquor in it. The waiter lights it while still on the tray, and then sprinkles in cinnamon, which sparkles into the drink. He then extinguishes the flame and serves it. It was quite a show and very delicious! If I ever go and sit outside, I'm going to film it! After a bit, we were getting hungry, so food started appearing. The fig & prosciutto flatbread arrived first, (with a single plate and napkin). It was a 12" x 6" flatbread spread with honey, figs, prosciutto, chèvre, and arugula. Another of these came out later. Quite delicious. Someone else had the nachos, which they said were amazing. After asking, the server brought out more plates and napkins. Other cocktails that we tried and enjoyed were the Perro Perdito (Lost Dog) and the Drastic Measures. The Mango-chili shrub in this one packed a bit more heat than the Jalapeño dip! But it was tasty, with the salt/tajin half-rim. After a few hours of fun food and drink and a lot of laughter, we decided to release our hold on the table. The dinner crowd was champing at the bit to take over, and we were pretty sated. Everyone was safe to drive, so we hugged all around and parted ways, well fed and better friends. Thanks, N&S. You may drag me back to Apex again any time!!

Ambiance was just average, lots of people working and studying occupied most tables, service is friendly, the Napoleon seemed to be old with strange texture with no flavor, my husband ordered a cheese cake and said the same thing. The only good thing was the tea, a little more than the regular Lipton black tea. It was a huge disappointment and we won't be back, spent almost $40 for two not good slices of cake, a pot of tea, totally not worth it! Food: 1 Service: 4 Ambiance: 3

The space is fairly large and they stay open late (until 11 PM on weekends), making it a great place to hang out with friends or stop by to satisfy a sweet tooth during a night out. I've purchased their macarons as gifts, tried several desserts here and to-go, grabbed coffee and stayed to do work, and even stopped by for lunch. Their light bites are quite tasty, and I especially enjoy their phyllo-dough pastries. Their latte options are great--the flavors are creative yet still approachable, and the syrup options are delicious. Service is attentive and efficient. There's always a big team behind the counter, and instead of calling names, they give you a number and bring food or drinks directly to your table, which is so thoughtful! They can get quite busy at times - lots of families and big groups stop by to hang out. I enjoy the community it brings, though sometimes this is not the most ideal place to get work done. Highly recommend Asali for anyone looking to try creative desserts, a great cup of latte!
