Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie With coffee ice cream
    Marie S.

Such Yummy choices! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is bright and welcoming![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashier was very friendly and helpful. Gluten free cookies were great! Very moist, great flavor and don't fall apart like other gluten free cookies do. I had an ice cream sandwich with coffee ice cream. They warmed the cookies and the sandwich was amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute dessert shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I never quite understood the rave behind edible cookie dough... I've always enjoyed my desserts baked! But I would be gatekeeping if I didn't announce that I am now 100% a fangirl for Mixed Desserts !! Imagine your favorite cookie ice cream sandwich, but instead of ice cream that quickly melts into a big mess in your hands, you have a concoction of velvety smooth cookie dough generously stacked between two fresh baked cookies!! The options don't stop there- they also serve up cold brew coffee and various other treats on their menu. Now for the cookie dough- there were so many flavors to enjoy, like red velvet and cookies and cream, but I caved for the popular flavor of the chocolate chip and brownie blend. No regrets whatsoever. It was AWESOME and not overbearingly sweet either. I'm already planning my next trip out there, so the rest of the fam can try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area where Mixed Desserts is located is a fun little spot as well. You can tell it's a newly constructed shopping center and there are plenty of stores worth popping into if you are feeling adventurous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Theres also a lovely seating area around the center fountain if you want to enjoy your dessert in the sun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was so pumped to try this place after looking at their website and being invited to a Yelp event. The location is tucked back in a big shopping center but it's easy to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Social media fans will love the multiple photo ops with the cute wall painting and pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Right off the bat, the owner was super friendly and excited to tell me all about the business. He explained the menu and let me try some samples of their edible cookie dough, which is made with heat treated flour and no eggs. And it was so good! Just super smooth and almost buttery. I enjoyed the samples, but I'm an ice cream girl so I was most looking forward to a nice, cold milkshake. I ended up choosing a mint Oreo shake which was delicious! Thanks so much for a fun event and I look forward to returning soon!!

Edible cookie dough is still a new concept, so it was cool that the staff was open to questions and allowed tasting of any of their cookie dough flavors. I prefer the texture of a baked cookie over cookie dough, but my husband did get half/half scoop of two different dough flavors. He said that although the concept is cool, especially for those who love cookie dough, a fully cooked cookie is top tier. And their cookies are DELICIOUS. 7/10 - not a cookie dough fan, but a HUGE cookie fan

I loved this place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean, nice staff and fairly priced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is a great place that has good choices for a sweet treat. The Oreo cookie dough wich was AMAZING. It is a must try. The banana pudding milkshake was amazing and they made it with the banana pudding cookie dough it was soo good!!! We also tried a cookie and a small peanut butter cookie dough. Totally worth a try! I loved how everything tasted great and that their prices were really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall this is a great place to bring the family for a sweet treat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also had ice cream and other soft served options all that you can add toppings and cookie dough to. I will be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was an extremely cute dessert shop! I loved the colorful and fun set up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I arrived, the man behind the counter was extremely nice and shared his recommendations. He also offered for me to taste test before ordering. I chose the brookie cookie dough and it was delicious! I don't usually care for the cookie dough at places like this but this one was great!!! I was thrilled to know I could keep it in the fridge for a few weeks if I didn't finish it as well. Will definitely be back to try the ice cream!

I love Mixed Desserts! Their cookie dough is incredibly delicious and very filling. This time, I decided to try one of their shakes. I got the peanut butter cookie dough mixed with their vanilla soft serve. It was so creamy and filled with peanut butter cookie dough chunks. The price to shake size ratio is also great. Can't wait to come back!

Loved the decor inside, definitely a vibe for selfies. Staff was friendly and nice and gave large portions even though I asked for smaller portions so you will definitely get bang for your buck. Located right across from the hotel my company has me stay in when I come to the office. This time I brought my mom and daughter to tag a long they both really enjoyed their desserts.

Really delicious! Several flavors of edible cookie dough that you can have in a cup, sundae, or shake! Prices are super super reasonable! They also have cookies to eat alone or as part of a sundae! I would absolutely return and try several flavors. They are also very nice and accommodating and the area has a few little restaurants and bars for dinner or a drink. I went with the PB and the Brookie Dough with chocolate ice cream whipped cream and Reese's on top.

I found the cookies to be prepared well to exceptional quality, with proper texture, consistency, and the flavors are delicious when eaten alone or with beverages. The cookies were delivered loose in the box, however, remained intact following transportation by the delivery service without incident. I recommend these cookies highly because the recipes however simple in ingredients are prepared to a high standard and possess a certain character of craft and variety.

This place is so cute! If you love cookie dough, they serve it by the scoop. It's made with no eggs and heat treated flour. They also serve cookies, milkshakes, ice cream and coffee. My husband and I decided to try a few of the cookies and really enjoyed them. It's $1.50 for a gourmet cookie and $3 for a signature cookie. Here are the flavors that we tried: Lemon Blueberry - a must try Salted Caramel - another must try Heathbar Crunch Oatmeal Raisin M&M White Chocolate Cranberry I can't wait to return.

This is a cute colorful shop conveniently located in McGregor Village in Cary. The service is very helpful and friendly. We ordered milk shakes. They were tasty, but they tasted more like vanilla soft serve than the flavor indicated.

Great, lofty space...and nicely decorated throughout. Now comes all the disappointments. First of all, I was the one customer when I stopped in around 2:30 pm...and while the place itself was nice, it felt kind of stale. Total silence...no music. I also noticed that they changed things...for the worse. They no longer had on the menu this trio sampler that I had my heart set on. Also, I didn't find their drink menu that appetizing. Also, everything was now served in paper cartons...not actual plates and cups. This is a running pet peeve of mine. Since Covid, many cafes and bakeries have downscaled on cups, plates and utensils...to serve everything in cheap to-go wares. I expect that type of vibe at fast foods, like McDonald's and Taco Bell...not nice cafes and bakeries. I ordered this soupy dessert (forgot the name), along with this Crepe Cake, and this Mango Fruity drink. Truly, each and every item was forgettable. Just not that good. Then the service... dead-pan. The lady at the counter had this rude-cold demeanor, and did not flick even a slight smile even once. So yeah...NOT great all around. Aside from the place being so attractive, the foods, the presentation and the service was far below what you'd expect from a nice cafe-bakery. A huge disappointment.

Ironically, I went here because I rarely get out to eat and the service has always been consistent. 1. There was no one at the cash register and an employee who was just about to go on break took my order. He was polite enough but I found out later that he put in the wrong order. 2. There were no tables that I saw that were wiped off. Some had the dishes removed but I needed to wipe off a table. 3. A cockroach scrambled across the floor near my table to the left of the coffee station. I wish I was joking, or seeing things but I wasn't the only person who saw it. One of the female employees went toward it and stepped on it but since it was headed toward my table, I moved. 4. It was really hot in there. Maybe not AC completely broken hot, but AC on the struggle bus hot. There was a large fan in the back dining room that wasn't doing much of anything except redistributing humidity. 5. I ordered an avocado toast with bacon and got delivered a grilled cheese sandwich. The server took it back but then I needed to ask for the bacon. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture because the same dish on Sunday was so elaborate and beautifully presented and the same order today was just meh. Not a good value for the price. I will say the server correcting someone else's mistake was clearly overwhelmed but doing her best. She was also the cockroach killer. I ate my lunch and read my book. My intention had been to linger a while and read but I decided to leave. The place was about 1/4 full when I left but all the tables still had crumbs, food debris and water on them made it too unpleasant to stick around. Very disappointing. I don't see myself going back any time soon. I do love their bread but I'm sure I can find someplace more pleasant or go to the downtown location instead.

Both drinks are delicious, and bonus points for also offering lactose-free/plant milk! But be warned, they do not offer the plant milk for certain drinks, since some are pre-mixed. The puff pastry is a large portion, and heavier, so you can definitely share. The mochi donut is nice and light, so these are better to get more than one flavor to try.
