We went for breakfast. Online it says breakfast ends at 11, but they have breakfast available all day long! Thank goodness, it's too tasty to only be available during breakfast hours. I ordered the deluxe breakfast sandwich (with crispy bacon per cashier's recommendations and she was right). I substituted the side fruit for a salad. I was mesmerized by the way the cafe is and wanted to try eggs benedict. We also order chicken sandwich. But both were pathetic.Less quantity, more price, undercooked potatoes on side. Bakery!! I love bakeries. The first thing you notice and smell is fresh baked bread. The case is loaded with the famous white chocolate baguette (delicious btw), all types of croissants, cookies and breads. Oh and scones. Don't forget the scones - pumpkin chocolate chip and white chocolate cinnamon (10/10). They have a full breakfast menu and lunch items as well. We ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and the spinach and feta quiche which comes with a mini scone and fruit and I added a side of bacon the food was about an 8/10. The quiche was tasty but a little flat. I also had a caramel crème latte 9/10. They have a lot of take home items - breads, jams, granola, etc. Service was great and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This feedback is related to a gift card with $25 balance that was rejected at the store at the corner of High House and Cary Pkwy. I gave my daughter this card and she tried to use it but was told it could not be used because either it was expired or had no balance. She even showed them the site showing the balance on her phone. She had to pay from her own funds even though she only went there because of the gift card. I just checked during this writing and the web site shows a balance of $25. I have also sent 2 emails via their web site and have not received any response. So now I feel like La Farm has stole money from me. The back of the card clearly states "No expiration dates or services fees." So, not a pleasant experience, I feel robbed, and now I don't feel like going to La Farm or recommending them.. Moral of the story, don't buy gift cards from La Farm. read more

I love the idea of this bakery but I've been disappointed with each visit. Ambiance is important for me and because of the number of customers the staff cannot keep up with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The tables are small and crowded together. While I enjoyed the quiche I would choose another spot to eat in and only get baked goods to go from La Farm. read more

We've been coming to LaFarm ever since we moved here almost 10 years ago. Everything used to be top notch and you would see the owner frequently. But I'm guessing he has over extended himself with all these locations. The quality has gone down and the prices have shot up. So disappointed in the kids meals. An overcooked egg and 1 slice of orange for $8????? I know inflation has gotten bad but that's ridiculous. The quality of the food isn't what it used to be either. We've ordered stuff that is either way overcooked or have a non edible item accidentally left on. One time I came with my baby and needed a high chair. I couldn't find any. I asked an employee and he looked around the room and said they were all taken and walked away. I checked everywhere, not one person was using a high chair. I'm guessing they were put away somewhere. We used to come frequently but I'm guessing we are done. Sadly, it's just not what it used to be. read more

I arrived in the middle of the afternoon with my toddler for a simple baguette and cortado. The long haired entitled barista was not on break but chatting it up with some kitchen staff for literally almost 20 minutes with nothing to do. I approached the cashier and he went to get the supervisor but I had it by then and left. That was a situation with even basic awareness could have solved it quickly. Outstanding bakery w french pastry. The place is spacious and has plenty of seatings. They offer a wide variery of bread, sandwiches and sweet treats. They also have coffee and tea. I love their pastries so much that I returned the day after to try some more. Their pear ricotta cake was unique and very refreshing. The creame brulee tart is also one of a kind. I got the spinach and feta baguette, and the ham & cheese croissant. Both were packed with flavor and delicious. My only complaint is that we asked for them to be heated up, and they did not heat them up until they were warm. They were still cold when we ate them. I typically only order bakery items to-go at La Farm, but I finally made time to eat food at the cafe. I went on a Sunday and unfortunately, they only serve brunch on Sundays. Fortunately, the food was delicious! I ordered the crème brûlée French toast and the bread was absolutely perfect. We ordered at the counter and a staff member brought us our food in about 15 minutes. We ate outside and everything was super clean. My next La Farm goal is to try the lunch/dinner menu. It wouldn't be a La Farm trip without getting something new. I decided to try their festive Turkey bread. I believe it was a sourdough bread and it was shaped like a turkey. Went for a treat with my grandson recently and have been here a few other times before. There is plenty of seating and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a latte with a pastry and grandson had a cookie with milk. All was delicious. I've had the eclairs in the past and they are the best! I have also had lunch here and portions are huge. I could personally use a smaller portion be side I don't like to take leftover sandwiches home. That's probably the only negative I have but I feel that way about many places I eat at. I'm so surprised I haven't made a review to this place yet. I go there enough! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. My go to is the poulet au fromage with chips and extra ranch. All of it is amazing! Another good option is the parisien! Their bread is amazing and so are the cookies. It kills me to not give 5 stars but the past few times I've gone, I've had some problems with their pastries. Their chocolate cake is the best I've ever had and I constantly get it but sometimes it has a slightly old taste. Additionally, I got their crème brûlée tart for the first time and it lacked flavor of any kind. In fact, the biggest flavor present was the freezer burnt taste of the crust. She said, no that's the acai smoothie - It has strawberries and banana. I was very confused and said: There's no acai in it whatsoever but you still call it an acai smoothie? Because they kept saying it had strawberries and banana (which was a total no sequitur), I explained that acai is a fruit that is different than strawberries and banana (!). We called ahead order of (croque Madame, roasted chicken salad, & kids grill cheese w/ fruit). They required payment at time of order since others have stiffed them, totally understandable. We informed them we wanted to have our lunch ready upon arrival with our kids (4yrs old & 10 month old) & get a few more things from the bakery & meeting some local friends there. Order wasn't ready upon arrival despite that they weren't busy. Picked up a few more items & two coffee & we all waited forever for our order under "pick up order here" sign. Finally asked somebody & they said to check the stainless steel rack behind the cashier counter (how was I suppose to know we could go behind the counter). The chicken was deli meat on the salad, dressing & salad was amazing! The kids' fruit was two thin pieces of honeydew & two slices of oranges.
