My buddies and I went to Brigs around brunch time. The wait was about 30ish minutes which was not a problem. I got the works omelette and it was delicious. The home fries are a great side. Good coffee as well

Why haven't I found this place sooner? Brigs is a well-rounded breakfast, brunch, and lunch place. Went for brunch this weekend and had the Mediterranean omelette. It was fluffy, beautiful, and flavorful. I've never had these flavors in an omelette before. It had spinach, fresh olives, feta cheese, Hollandaise sauce. My mouth waters fondly as I think back at the experience. Grits and English muffin were good. I also tried their pancakes which were also delicious. Our waitress was very thoughtful and friendly. Food came out quickly. Loved it!

So much great food. Omgoodness. The reviews that steered me there are all on the money. Our table was covered and not a single thing less than delicious. I had the avocado toast with feta and bacon and "fancy" home fries. Amazing. My kiddos and friends had some form of pancakes (blueberry and chocolate chip). The home fries, perfectly seasoned. Service was also top notch and honestly for all the food we got it wasn't a bad price. Very packed for a 1130 crowd on a Monday, but it was MLKj day, so maybe that was why. This menu is vast tho. Will def go back anytime I'm in the area. Every eggs Benedict looked amazing.

We came to this location after run club. The good thing about Brigs is that you can get a decent amount of food for relatively cheap and the food is tasty. It is difficult to get sat when you have a large group. We came at 8:30am with 8 people and had to wait a little bit. Not too long but it probably would've been longer had come later, so just something to keep in mind. I got the Knight scramble and made it southern royalty (grits instead of home fries) and I recommend not doing that. They do not season their grits so it was a little bland. Their home fries are flavorful so it would have been better had I kept it as is. Outside of the bland grits, the scramble was very good. And they have some of the best English muffins. A good, consistent breakfast spot.

The woman at the host stand was very friendly when I walked in. She directed me to put my to-go order in next her at the register. The hound lady at the register had a wonderful welcoming smile. She also was very knowledgeable about the menu when I had a couple questions. I waited outside till my order was ready. When I te-entered, another woman brought me my bag immediately and thanked me for coming in. WONDERFUL front of house staff. When I got home, my food was correctly and tasted absolutely amazing. Hats off to the chefs and line cooks for putting together a delicious eggs Benedict. Great bang for my buck! Thanks Brigs! I will definitely be back!

This restaurant is amazing! Even on the weekend, it is easy to find seating. I would have to say that this is the best breakfast diner that I have been to in North Carolina. The pancakes are fluffy. The eggs are cooked to perfection. My husband loves the Mediterranean omelette and my mom loves the Eggs Benedict. There is something for everyone. The servers are sweet and attentive. The ambience is comfortable, but not fancy. I plan on coming back soon!

I around 10:15am on a Friday morning for a breakfast date. Our waitress didn't introduce herself which is a personal pet peeve. My date ordered chicken and waffles with a side of grits. I got blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon and home fries. I ordered a strawberry lemonade for my beverage and it was not sweet enough, personally. The food came 10 mins after ordering, which was extremely quick. I enjoyed my pancakes as they were HUGE!! It came with two but one would have been sufficient. My bacon was greasy, not crispy, and on the cooler side. The home fries were lukewarm. My date enjoyed their chicken and waffles but the grits were flavorless and not enjoyable. I tasted them and I concur. The prices are affordable with hit and miss on the food. The tables are fairly close together so you can hear the conversation of other guest, just as they can hear yours. Overall, it was an okay experience. It got really busy, so it appears to be a popular spot.

Following up on my review below on in-restaurant dining. Yesterday, got take-out. Yesterday, I called and ordered 5 breakfasts from Brig's for carry-out. Four omelettes and one breakfast croissant. I called to order at 10:00 am and asked that the meals be ready at 10:30 am. (I had called earlier in the morning but they suggested that I call to order 20 minutes before desired pick-up time.) The packages were ready when I arrived at 10:30. Everything was well packed, and each of the entrees had the correct sides in the correct boxes. Everything was delicious and all guests were impressed. They included a variety of jams and some butter in the packages, in addition to utensils and napkins. I asked for and they applied a Senior discount to the meals. I'm very pleased.

Great food Great service Great ambience Home style food, great eggs Benedict, fruits have cantaloupe my favorites. Also seating by the window on Saturday brunch feels great. I was first introduced as a favorite by my friend. It is now our favorite.

Wow, the amount of food they brought was humongous! The staff are attentive and quick too. The restaurant was packed on Saturday morning but with great staff service, large portions for reasonable price, and nice atmosphere , this is a must stop by place for breakfast.

Sorry didn't get a pic of the food. Was too hungry lol. Great location. Great service. Staff seem to know the customers by name. Decent food. Decor and vibe is ancient. Would come back forsure! Haley was an amazing waitress!

Food was okay, service was good, restaurant is always packed. The value for the price is probably what's best about this place. Ambiance is fine, similar to diner style. Casual eatery that seems to do good business!

Is there gluten free toast or more importantly Benedict options? I have a dietary issue and have not found a gluten free Benedict option other than making them at home.

They definitely have GF toast. They do have a number of Benedict dishes. I don't know about GF Benedict options though. I don't think they have GF english muffins but I suppose you could ask for the Benedict to be on the GF toast....

So we pulled off, took out the trusty Yelp app, and this place popped up. Pulling it, it was clear that they were popular and busy. We went in and there was a wait, about 15 minutes. We decided to hang around instead of worrying about "making good time" and are glad we did. Once we got a seat, we received great service. Our server always kept our drink full, and checked on us just enough. We never felt like we were searching for her. Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices were not unreasonable, even though it's a very trendy place. in fact, they had a $10ish lunch menu available with a few selections that even included a drink. I was more in a lunch mood so I went that direction, and got a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time even with a full restaurant, so this is a well oiled machine. For the price, I was pretty impressed. I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

Ironically, I went here because I rarely get out to eat and the service has always been consistent. 1. There was no one at the cash register and an employee who was just about to go on break took my order. He was polite enough but I found out later that he put in the wrong order. 2. There were no tables that I saw that were wiped off. Some had the dishes removed but I needed to wipe off a table. 3. A cockroach scrambled across the floor near my table to the left of the coffee station. I wish I was joking, or seeing things but I wasn't the only person who saw it. One of the female employees went toward it and stepped on it but since it was headed toward my table, I moved. 4. It was really hot in there. Maybe not AC completely broken hot, but AC on the struggle bus hot. There was a large fan in the back dining room that wasn't doing much of anything except redistributing humidity. 5. I ordered an avocado toast with bacon and got delivered a grilled cheese sandwich. The server took it back but then I needed to ask for the bacon. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture because the same dish on Sunday was so elaborate and beautifully presented and the same order today was just meh. Not a good value for the price. I will say the server correcting someone else's mistake was clearly overwhelmed but doing her best. She was also the cockroach killer. I ate my lunch and read my book. My intention had been to linger a while and read but I decided to leave. The place was about 1/4 full when I left but all the tables still had crumbs, food debris and water on them made it too unpleasant to stick around. Very disappointing. I don't see myself going back any time soon. I do love their bread but I'm sure I can find someplace more pleasant or go to the downtown location instead.

Then, I moved inside to see what the delay was, and the host tried to seat me at the counter. Really? I'd been waiting 30 minutes, and you won't seat me at the empty table. So I declined and said I'd wait for my table. I never got a notice on my phone either, so what was the point of that system if you need to be inside the small waiting area to be called? I could see the open table, but I was not seated for another ten minutes. They didn't want me at the big table. Then it was interesting to watch all the staff walk by and ask who had my table. How do they not know which tables each person has? Someone eventually came by, asked if I'd been helped, and took my drink and food orders, since I'd been waiting quite a while. I ordered a half-and-half tea. I'm not sure she knew what that was, as she kept saying "unsweet". The first tea was half-and-half, but the refill was unsweetened. I went with the chicken pot pie, as that is what caught my eye. I expected a delicious dish, but what I received was disappointing. The ratio of the chicken, gravy and veggies was way off. I'd say there was enough low-quality processed chicken for three to four people, a little gravy and even less veggies. I had a bowl of processed chicken cubes with a splash of sauce, not what I had in mind. I usually skip the pastry part, but I ate that as I needed something other than chicken. I left some of the chicken in the dish. The waitress didn't even offer me a to-go box. It was that bad that I wouldn't eat it anyway. My check was brought out soon after I got my food. I don't understand the rush, but bringing the check early won't get me out any faster and lowers your tip. This was just a really bad experience, and I don't see myself returning. On the first visit, the Chicago dog was sub-par, but that was my partner's order and I don't remember the details. I just remember she said she wouldn't order it again. On today's visit, I ordered a meatball parm sandwich. It was cloyingly sweet - both the meatballs and the tomato sauce were unappetizing, and I could only manage to stand eating a bit of it. My partner ordered a side of corned beef hash. It turned up in a little paper tray with some dry shredded corned beef sprinkled on top of some home fry potatoes - just basic cubed potatoes and some beef shreds on top. That's it. It didn't feel like any corned beef hash we had ever seen. And we paid extra for a fried egg that didn't make it onto the dish. Of course when we pointed this out, it was quickly cooked up separately and brought to the table, so no problems again with the service or resolving the issue. Also be warned that Thursday nights from 6-8pm they run a music trivia game that blasts music loudly throughout the large dining space, completely surrounded by reflective surfaces. It was so loud and obnoxious that it made conversation impossible and drove us outside. I wish I could report a better experience. We need more quality delis around here!

I went savory: a chicken salad croissant (flaky, generously filled, with a side of bow-tie pasta salad and a creamy poppyseed slaw) and a pressed caprese-style panini with tomato, mozzarella, and basil grilled to a deep golden crisp. Both solid, satisfying lunches. On the drinks, the cold brew made with Joe Van Gogh beans was great--smooth and well-balanced. The iced café au lait was acceptable, nothing memorable but it did the job. The bakery case alone is worth a stop: cannoli, cranberry almond muffins, strawberry streusel coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and a rack of croissants. Friendly counter service and a comfortable spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or lingering with a coffee. Worth a return visit. Prices are very reasonable.

When I went, there was a huge pothole as you round the corner so just be careful of that! The service is great and the way that the kitchen prepared my order was very thoughtful and careful with my daughter's dairy and egg allergy (which is hard in the breakfast place) and they made it work, cleaning the grill and changing gloves! As for the food, it was a little bit on the smaller end, but it was pretty great good flavor and a nice flaky on the croissants! We got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and they did a great job with them! The only complaint I would have would be that the sausage patty was a little bit on the dryer side, but not horrible. Breakfast Sandwiches 4/5 Service and allergy friendly 5/5 Sausage patty 3.5/5 Overall everything was good and would totally come back
